I was born in Park City Utah in 1984, and lived there for 30 years. I recognize a few of the oustide shots shown here! It's fun to see. I knew of a couple films shot in my hometown, but not this one. Thank you for a very interesting video! (Our depleted silver mines were always a source of interest. For a few years when I was in middle/highschool a company bought one of the biggest mines in town and turned it into a giant haunted house.)

And not only that BUT we have a perfect spot for filming, it always makes me happy to see our state get some love especially from aspiring film makers. I love horror movies and such but practical effects rarely get used and it's all CGI garbage, which is both sad and sucky. There were some serious talents that did practical effects back then! Horror should never have CGI anything. Just ruins it for me. I digress. I'd also like to see the remake. I'm usually not a fan of remakes BUT some actually turned out great to me like the Evil Dead remake.

This is one of my favorite all time 80s horror movies. Does not need a remake, period..

Fun Fact: 'Chariots of the Gods' and it's author are the reason we have the masterpiece "Ancient Aliens".

I used to watch Erichs documentaries which inspired me to get the book Chariots of the Gods.. It’s fascinating theories he has that allegedly cannot be disproven

Then real science overtook Erich von Daniken's racist theories, he faded into obscurity, then the popularity of pseudoscience gave him a 2nd career.

I recall seeing it around 1982 in The Movie Channel and enjoying it. The Blu-Ray is in my collection and watch it often.

Man, watching scrambled movies brings me back. That, and watching the free trailers on the pay per view channel.

Scrambled channels!! Same here man. It would shift to clear in that weird blend of green, sepia, and blue. Confession:I “saw” “From Dusk till Dawn” and “Screamers” on scrambled.

I remember once that the Playboy Channel came through 90% unscrambled at my buddies house when we were in high school. :P Yeah, I remember you could sometimes get a scrambled channel to come in better if you flicked the channels back and forth. Those were the days. Trying to get those channels to come in was almost a pastime. Oh, I just remembered when my parents first got cable in the late 70s, my friend and I discovered HBO was free or something. We sat on the edge of the couch next to the TV and watched like 3 movies in a row without moving. There were no commercials and back then all they did was just broadcast movies one after the other with barely anything in between. We were kids used to commercials, so it was like we didn't know to get up and move. Too funny. :)

I was really young when I saw this and it scared the shit out of me. I've never known anything about it and even doubted I had ever seen it. Thanks for this video!
