So my Sister in law was in town and I did a define and hydrate in her hair plus a nice cut. It turned out so nice and she has been able to care for her hair ever since. She didn't do a hair detox per say, just started using better products.

A tip I learned for using UFD is keep it warm! Use warm water, maybe use a shower cap to trap some body heat if it seems like it has cooled down. That made a big difference for me using UFD.

Hey Jen, you did an excellent job!! You really should become a licensed cosmetologist, you seem to have a talent for this. You also have a great personality.. Your result rivals some of the more experienced, licensed stylists I've seen. You would definitely have more clients than you could book there in Canada. Great job, Jenn! You have crazy skills! That trim/cut was very impressive for someone who is not a licensed stylist. You gave some stylists a run for their money!! This one did it... after alllll your other WNG vids which are very informative etc... I did my first real WNG yesterday, while rewatching... clarifying shampoo x2 ( had build up from braids), moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and leave in (all done in the shower)... tho then I steamed with a cap with leave in (cause I was tired really 😅) then used Flaxseed gel from Nature's Little Secret (smells so good) and Maui Mousse. Did small sections of raking etc. Used a diffuser to dry... I have 4c dense but short hair. I like it, it took a lot of time, but my hair is very soft. Mostly I like the concept of washing my hair every 5-7 days. Salon Jenn J gave me that final boost & your sister-in-laws energy is so sweet, & her hair came out beautiful.
