Man I need to get me some drags. I had some locations this year to where they would have been handy. Good lookin set. That is what I used this year Peat moss and then blend em in

If you haven’t got your finger in a trap, your not trapping yet. Ha ha! You got that right. I’ve got my hand in mine a few times. 🤣

Just wanna say that your method of placing the trap “guarding the hole” is the only way I’ve ever caught coyotes. It was an older video you mentioned when placing a trap. Perfect paw catches every time.

Do you know the exact video that was?

What a great set! Looked perfectly blended in my my view. My grandpa swore by drags… I use them occasionally, but what a great tool!

I trap in SE Kentucky on the same type strip pits you do. I use drags a lot. That driving and pulling stakes takes a lot of energy and it’s just nice letting them get over the bank out of the ATV trails. A pretty dat in Dec. might get a half dozen of them out riding around.

Great video buddy thanks for sharing. I need to use more drags on my line. Then I could set places I don’t normally set. Hope you all have a great week.

Why do you use driveway heat in the bottom and table salt on top. Why not just one or the other?

Hey Biggs i just picked up my second coyote. It is missing fur down to bare skin between its shoulder blades and on his elbows and a little on his tail. Would you think that is mites? Im thinking I should probably leave it freeze outside first before I bring it in so my pets don't get them.

Do you use blunt trauma or gun powder to dispatch?

After a catch and your trap has some blood/fur on it, do you just re-bed it or replace it with a new/different trap? What do you do ?
@biggstimetrapping9323
@biggstimetrapping9323 Год назад
If the blood is minimal, I just rub some dirt on it and rebed it. If for some reason it would get a bunch of blood on it I replace it.
