The more i watch these awsome jets, the more i respect the ground crew, all the little things they do that all piolots understand there jet is good.Amazes me.One of those things you will never understand till you have to do it yourself
Coolest military jet ever ! And the best is: our German Bundeswehr ordered some F-18 lately. Finally we are getting some really cool and reliable jets for our military :)
The growler is a giant leap forward in electronic warfare in the air, can enable its forces to dominate the sky. Outside of the USA only Australia operate the growler.
10 taikka 12 Growleria voisi olla aivan ok. Ilman optiota F-18 E/F Super Horneteista. Osan voisi kattaa robottilennokeilla. Muttei sentään aivan kaikkia. Puolustustorjuntaa kaivataan edelleen totta kait.
Konetyyppi on ollut lentäjiensä kehuma. Tuota ylistyslaulua en voi kiistää. Lyhyt kiitorata-ominaisuus on kieltämättä ollut kiistaton etu. Olihan F-18 alun perin tukialushävittäjä! =D
Wow,,, what a plane... in a previous video, I gave poor comments about such a nice plane... sorry for that.. But may I know what is its comparison to Rafael, f35 and SU35 etc... is it a 5th generation jet?
US should have done same with F14, use same airframe and update engines and electronics and it would be still 3rd best fighter after 5th generation F22-F35 planes.
IIRC one of the big reason the F14 was scrapped was due to it being sold to certain countries and the possibility of them becoming a threat to the US if support was kept.
That is a block III cockpit, not yet in production. www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/21045/here-is-boeings-master-plan-for-the-f-a-18e-f-super-hornets-future
tehokkaampi moottori,,maarattu maara ilmaa moottoriin,ei enempaa eika vahempaa! Itse olen sita mielta etta teile sopisi paremmin Venalainen Su-37 havittajaksi ja runnakkokoneeksi Su-34 mutta eihan teile kelpaa Venalainen rauta! Olete niin pakatissa tuohon Usan sotahullu maahan! See on selge!
@@frankeinfish As dogfighter it would be great, but as a multirole fighter bit too small to carry JASSM or JDAM and after launch still able carry enough payload to engage to a another designated targets and the land..
@SMOG I didn't say it was a 5th generation plane. I said it was a very different plane design to the original F18. Don't put words in my mouth. Just semantics
@Stimpy&Ren HORNET, Hornet! Not the SUPER HORNET, the Super Hornet! Super Hornet first flight was in 1995 or 1997! Where this EA 18 G Growler ALSO, also is made and GROWLER's first flight was in 2007 maybe!
Kestääkö lähdön valmistelu sotatilanteessa yhtä kauan kuin tuossa videolla? Jos kestää, niin vihollinen on tuhonnut nuo lelut jo ennenkuin ne pääsevät ilmaan..
Navy carrier aircraft have 3 digit number markings. The first digit in those number identifies the type of aircraft, like fighter, attack, AEW or EW. It helps make it easier for shipboard controllers to identify and control various kinds of aircraft. The "5" in 516 on this aircraft identifies it as an EW aircraft. Among other ways, that's one way you can tell it's a Growler.
Funny, when we were forced to acquire a Russian MIG 21 fighter plane, it was adequate and efficient at that time. Now we can pick, but not russian plane. Is important be in line with nato. Swedish is tolerably in the middle in "red-green lane"? Bad for business.
