I have owned all of the F1 titles put out by Codemasters for the Xbox and I am a veteran of the EA produced F1 games of the early 2000's. F1 2013 is by far the best console F1 game by far. The inclusion of classic cars is a great foundation for Codemasters to build on for further classic content. The scenario mode is addictive as stated in the video. I have just completed my first season in the game, taking the drivers and constructors championship by miles. Time to crank up the difficulty and go for another season. Great game. Highly recommend it!

I will admit I will buy every single F1 game (main series, not Racing Stars) every single year, no matter how different or not it is, I will buy it. Because I am a gamer & I am a massive Formula 1 fan. At the end of every season I buy the review DVD, despite watching every single race. Why? Because I'm an F1 fan & I want to add it to my F1 collection.

The 1980's cars shown in the video come standard, the 90's ones come with the special edition, which weren't shown in the video.

When does this come out for consoles??? I say about a month ago that it was supposed to come out on october 29 but not on gamestop it says december 1! Does anyone know if it really got delayed for consoles that far back?

you guys should try this, race 50% race lap, then race more then the 25% race lap and use the mid session save and leave the game, change to 25% race lap return back to the race and see what happen.. you guys will play the race in infinte lap race

turn the traction control on, brake assist, racing line, easy level AI, turn off the realistic race rules, set flashback as many as possible,short race length.yes there is easy mode.

Geez 8.0 Gamespot what! This is the first CM F1 game I've actually sat and enjoyed and it's very rewarding when you get out of the corners without losing the car. I use a wheel because the cars are very twitchy which they are in real life. I haven't played classic mode yet need DLC to fully appreciate this, I'm on PS3. Overall, it's a surprisingly addictive game, there's one big problem with this game and I'm talking about the damage model, not good enough for me, roll on next gen. My score 9.5.

yeah f1 2006 i would say is complete too.. true formula 1 game.. formation are the real thing in f1. also the pit stop is also fun where we have to press the correct button to put on a good pit stop rather then just the game do it itself and making my pitstop slow.. codemaster doesn't really know what formula 1 is all about..

mike cortez F1 2011 man is the best one....im a bit late, but 2011 the best.....for handling!.....have the traction control on full....well it works lets just say that. abs on too, and a.i on professional.....and drive like you would if it was real life.....ie nothing mental....and that is the best way to go. tire deg will be less bcos of abs and traction. helps a lot. play with these 3 settings to get best results [difficulty on pro, abs on, traction cont on] fuck the other games.... the handling is just plain broke

TRUTH4U2NO its true. i feel your pain bro. at least in 2011 you can turn and shit, without skidding everywhere god dam it.....traction control just don't work in this friggn game!...[its like f12010 again but worse handling]. graphics are great, but f12011 whoops this upside down. this game my back end is all over the fucking shop all the time????????????? screw you codemasters from us alllll. ps and screw the nwo too :]

What racing games reviewers don't understand is that racing games are not about features but driving experience. In that matter F1 2013 is the best ever. I only play time trial, career and multiplayer zero assistance cockpit view. Under steer and oversteer is so much better than in F1 2012. This is the best driving experience I have ever had, and I have been playing all PC F1 games since Grand Prix. My score: 9.5

The game is an improvement for sure! Nobody mentioned the collisions with other cars though, much better, no longer feels like glass cars colliding, they have a nice clunky sound to them. Seeing as legend modes isn't based on a specific season though with only a handful of 80's cars... you think they would let you set up your own races, picking which cars race and what drivers race the AI cars. Iam happy enough with this game for £30... £50 for the rest of the classics though is a rip off IMO

Do the brakes work on this one? 2012's braking felt weak, and in fact if you aimed for the same braking spots used by the real cars you ended up overshooting as the car would never manage to stop in time for you to make the corner.

Well they have to. They have to see how fast each car is, how it handles, what it looks like. They need to see all of the track changes. They can only do that once the season is well under way, and the pecking order has become clear. Then they have to program all of that. Stop complaining.

You know i loved the first F! game...with its great campaign...how you went beyond just going race to race...the second was ok...but nothing great was really added to me...i was hoping this third one would be my holy grail...that code masters would get it...but nope. Why havent they expanded on that great campaign...added to the things you can do outside of the races? Instead they do a half ass 80's thing...I give up on this series...

Wish forza 5 had a relevant career mode..with rankings and point system..not just racing random tracks with no real purpos or ambition to continue..drivatar was ok idea but it ruins it because the career has no direction..or weather or night racibg for that matter..guess what im sayin is forza kinda sucks wish tehy cone out with f1 for xb1 soon

People complaining they focus on people with steering wheels..... Well good as if you are playing a game like this without one then its stupid as the experience is so much better. For someone who races on tracks with my Stage 3 APR 2007 VW GTI with meth injection (y youtube channel has old vids of my car) anyways code masters knows how to make their games, they are great. Iracing is the best tho lol.
