He is also right. Belgium and Dutch serries do not have _wet tires_ in karting because of the large cost. You have to drive other lines because your driving on ice.

Max had some good luck in the last race but overall he deserved the title. Don't let all the salty Lewis fans distract you from the bigger picture, he's had a great season! And he's had more than his fair share of bad luck over the last year costing him points.

I'm a big Lewis fan and wanted him to win. But ultimately Veratappen deserved the victory. They can both be irritating arrogant pricks from time to time but one can't deny this season has been thrilling and they both made that happen

Throughout the season there's no doubt Max deserves the title. That's the thing, championship are deserved by the performances throughout the season, not on the final race.

@@joshhart4801 with that perspective it couldve been decided any race, not just the last one. couldve been decided if max didnt get pushed off in silverstone, or any other time he got unlucky. the other way around it's the exact same. every single race this season has been equally important even if you didn't know how it would end yet.

@@joshhart4801 If Lewis had won. Than ths Chamption would have been alone on the grid in Hungary and then box-ed one lap latter. And that just one of the examples of bad calles Mercedes AND Lewis made. Some pit strategies where just hilarius, like in France. Mercedes was again quicker but made beginners mistakes. Mercedes are people that watch on the computer if it's raining in the f**king pitlane while standing in the pitlane. To mutch computer, to little of "reading" the race.

I think either one of them deserved to win it. My issue (and I think everyone else who is unbiased shares this viewpoint) was that basically fia chose the winner. Lewis had pretty much won and then fia played a reverse uno.

Max is actually the youngest driver to ever debut in F1. He started at 17 while Lewis is one of the older ones, debuting when he was already 23. Most F1 drivers usually debut when they're about 20. Also if you wanna see the real definition of "don't give a f" i highly recommend watching Kimi Raikönnen funny moments. He's known as the Iceman and a fan favorite. He debuted in 2001 and sadly decided to retire after this season.

Max 100% deserved the title 10 wins, 10 poles, 18 podiums, 652 laps led, 3 races ruined through no fault of his own, 2nd best car. Mercedes had 3 chances to pit, yet they very consciously chose track position over fresh tires. Ironically Mercedes has been given (way) more handouts by the FiA than RB this season, even earlier in the race Lewis was gifted a free advantage, and look who is crying. Max is the worthy champion, if it wasn’t for his bad luck he would have won 2-3 races ago.

Don't forget two of those stats are records! More laps lead than the entire rest of the field combined and most podiums in a single season ever.

And Massi should've let all lapped cars unlap themselves 2.5 laps before the race end, but he refused them from doing so and postponed it for 1 lap for no reason. So instead of 2 laps, Max only had 1 lap to do his job. And you're right, that's after Massi told Max to give up his lead after the clear overtake. Everything Massi did helped Lewis, but he still lost. Max was a way better driver in 2021

Max and Lewis both equally deserved it. Despite having a poor first half of the season, causing a huge lead to develop, Lewis still managed to come back to tie in points. Mercedes stopped investing in their 2021 car to focus on 2022, and Red Bull overtook them in performance (so Max did not have the 2nd best car, but in fact a faster one). Max was the cause of not finishing in Monza (Lewis was ahead and by right had that corner, but Max forced his way around), however, was at no fault of his own in Baku and Silverstone. Mercedes didn't have 3 chances to pit as giving up track position would have been the end. The race should have, and looked to be ending under SC, meaning that losing track position would've been giving up the race. Max pitted there because he was already behind and had effectively lost so there was no loss to pitting. The only reason that didn't happen was because of Masi warping the rules, which he's been demoted for, showing the FIA admitted it was wrong. That "free advantage" you mention was literally due to a violation by Max of forcing Lewis off the track in a corner that wasn't his (typical move by Max), hence why no investigation was conducted when Lewis recovered whilst exceeding limits. Lewis had an equal amount of bad luck throughout, and in no way was favoured when you look at all his penalties. Despite being heavily defended against by Checo (which was great from him as a team play) allowing Max to catch up after getting fresh tires, Lewis still managed to pull away and build a 15 second lead. He lead the whole race, so people saying he deserved that race but not the title make no sense because to win that race would've won the title with it.

I agree 100% Even though the FIA did bend the rules a bit and did rob Hamilton of a deserved victory, that doesn't mean Max should give away his title, he was on top form right until the end.

It was not stolen. Max finally had some luck on his side and he performed better than Lewis all year. It was only close because of multiple times he couldn't finish not because of his fault. Both would have been worthy chanpions but max deserved it. Don't let Lewis fans lie

Throughout the season, and even in yesterday's race, both Max and Lewis were on the receiving end of controversial decisions. In the end, the driver who performed the best over the season deservedly won the title, but if you only look at the last two laps of the 6600 km they raced this year, it is understandable that Lewis' fans say it was stolen

How did he beat the FIA if they won him the championship in the end? The FIA literally warped their own rules in order to create a little entertainment, knowing the race should've ended either under SC or with lapped cars in between, sacrificing Lewis' chances in the process knowing he had 40 lap old hard tires, and Max had 3 lap old softs. British media has been against Hamilton, trying to spread retirement rumours, not even mentioning Max. Max was a worthy champion, but you can't then say Lewis wasn't when they were equal on points due to Lewis' incredible late season recovery, with equal race retirements throughout the season.

all season long max was on the receiving end of bad luck, with bahrain, imola, silverstone, hungary, baku, etc etc. In the last race some well earned luck came to give him a well deserved title. most podiums, wins, poles, fastest laps, DNFś ( 2 due to mercedes ) Most laps led by over 300+ laps. There truly was 1 driver who earned the title, and he got it.

in this season max verstappen had the most podiums out of everyone (even set a new record with 18 podiums), the most race wins and the most laps led. lewis led 297 laps this season, max led 652. after those two bottas with 79 laps led, ocon with 66, leclerc with 60, ricciardo with 48, perez with 46, norris with 31, sainz with 12 and vettel with 4. so yeah, max definitely deserved to win this seasons championship, no matter what salty hamilton fans will tell you.

Lewis fans are acting like the championship was only any Dhabi, it wasn’t. Max had more wins, more podiums, more poles, more laps led than the entire field COMBINED. On top of that he had 2 DNF’s that weren’t his fault (Baku and silverstone) where he lost 43-50 points, 1 DNF that was his fault (Monza) where Lewis lost 25 points and max 15-18 and then there was Hungary where bottas took half his car out and he lost 16 points. Max much more unlucky than Lewis was this season, max also broke the record of most podiums with 18 podiums this season without ever finishing on the third step, the only times he didn’t finish first or second was when his car was broken. Max was massively consistent this season and really deserved the title.

If not for the Mercs taking out Verstappen in Britain & Hungary there wouldn't even be a title fight in the last few races, so no, Hamilton did not "deserve" the title this year. It would have been a travesty if Verstappen didn't win it with all the rule bending going on to make it a title fight at the end.

Robbed of the race win, not robbed of the championship. That's how I see it! They've both had some bad luck and poor decision making from the FIA that cost them. Obviously with the final race ending like that it is a hard pill to swallow for Lewis and Mercedes fans. But if the last race had been Hungary, Baku, Silverstone, etc... then people would be saying that Max was robbed. That's just how it goes with racing sometimes, can't be looking at it objectively with a short memory!

Yes Max had luck in last few races- but deserved title. The issue is that there are a lot of fans who recently began watching and began loving Lewis because he’s dominant and easy choice to root for (I myself love Lewis)… but if I May explain the rules of the last race incident. Latifi crashed- safety car deployed- so far so good. After 3 races the track is clear, which means we are meant to have 2 racing laps and overlapped cars are sent to go back to their original spot- the FIA director makes the mistake and lets one extra lap go, so instead of 2 laps of racing, he only gave us 1 lap. The un lapping was still done correctly- allowing the only cars out of position (which were ones between Lewis and max) to go back to their original spot. Everything was done well, but unfortunately it took an extra lap- when it should have been 2 racing laps. Either way there have been many other mistakes from FIA including penalties to cars such as Mercedes, Ferrari (from Hungary to silverstone to many other races), and Red Bull (like the Max crash). Either way, Max deserved title and won it legally, hence why it stands. Hopefully Lewis can get his 8th this year!!!

Fun fact: Max started racing in F1 when he was just 17. He holds the record for the youngest driver to start in F1, and it cannot possibly be beaten now because they then had to make a rule to say you need to be 18. He’s also the youngest F1 race winner at like 18 and a few months, crazy.

It would be more realistic for F1 drivers to move to INDY rather than NASCAR, like Nigel Mansell did when he won the F1 championship (1993)and moved to INDYcar winning that championship in his first season (1994) (technically holding both championships simultaneously). SIngle seat racers tend to stick to that format when they move on.

Max did not steal the 2021 world championship, he deserved it and owned it ………. He was the best that season. Mercedes drivers Bottas and Hamilton bumped him off finishing his race and still he had more points than Hamilton at the end!

Lewis and Bubba in one team? Now that would be something to watch for sure and together they would write history i think because to me, that sounds like an amazing drivers lineup for any team to have. And we've seen more F1 drivers switching to Nascar and Indycar in the last 50 years, who all wrote their own page in the history books in both sports. Most famously Mario Andretti ofc, Juan Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen (in his case, it was more for fun, typical iceman), Jacques Villeneuve, and Jim Clarke, all had good careers in both Nascar and F1 (and several other racing classes). And in Indycar you have names like Emerson Fittipaldi, Nigel Mansell, Eddie Cheever, Takuma Sato, Alex Zanardi, Fernando Alonso, Rubens Barrichello, and most recently Mr. fire-proof himself, Romain Grosjean, who all have been very successful in both classes. (some more than others obviously) Heck ..Fernando Alonso nearly won his first try at the Indianapolis 500, just to give an idea of the skills of these guys. (give them a good car and they will perform, no matter what class it is) So with all that in mind.. a 7 time world champion (for now, i wouldn't be surprised if he takes a few more) behind the wheel of a Nascar beast? I'd love to see that for sure! (and dont be surprised if after 1 or 2 seasons, he's starting to dominate that class as well, the man is seriously talented, smart and properly quick)

I'm happy for Max but as a neutral, it was a total farce and the rules really were inconsistent all year. If you objectively look at the last race Mercedes had the much better package and were clearly faster and led all but half a lap. They deserved to win that race. Hopefully the FIA can sort the ruling out for next year and be consistent.

i like you r channel..but for a f1 driver to go to nascar is not happend only when he finish is carreer in f1. you can t compare nascar i don t even know why it s called nascar just going around it s stupid..F1 it s like a sky far away from that nascar..in europe we only know F1 and that s the best ever. nascar i think it s for playstation or something not for real sport. so please do not ever compare PRO with amateurs.

Max is 18 here and Lewis is around 29 or 30 Im not sure. Max won his first race age 18 in Barcelona.

This is the only sport in the world outside North Korea that the result is decided by one man nothing to do with car or the race or the rules a man sitting behind a desk just makes the rules up as each lap passes and if he decides that it's not what he wants he tells you to let the other cars pass you it stinks
