You have no idea how happy I am that this video was made in 2022. I remember this issue in 2019 with Nicole and a few internet sites picked up on it but no one else did. I'm still not a fan of him at all.

its funny how people associate their following to a person rather than content. in reality everything anyone has ever said when it comes to coaching is taken from vedas or stoic philosophies. Associate your awakening to knowledge and not people to have fruitful life

He was a monk but very briefly, it was almost like it was summer camp! He is arrogant and loves listening to his own voice. It does amaze me how people follow him and listen to what he says!

Just to let you know I’ve been dealing with mental health issues since I was a child. Jay shetty helped me overcome barriers that I hadn’t been able to overcome before. So before you castrate someone think to yourself:”are there people benefiting from what he says” think outside of your own culture and era and think about the greater good. As a human who can’t know how an individual will react to a helpful post it is best to not spread hate. I think you’re not looking at the bigger picture here.

So the whole plagiarism concept when it comes to social media is tricky. One could argue that as long as no profit is being made from the post that it isn't necessarily plagiarism. Celebrities are public figures so, yes, their quotes or speeches are considered "intellectual property", but you can't make money simply by posting something a celebrity said or wrote on social media. I would advice anyone watching this to do your own research and digging. Social media is used so much and it's crazy that we're discussing plagiarism on a social media post now, it use to be plagiarism on your essays. Please be mindful that not all information on the internet is ORIGINALLY SOURCED. Whether it be Jay Shetty using a celebrity's quote intentionally or ignorantly not citing it correctly, or this woman posting this video. For all we know, she could be trying to gain more followers by putting another person in the same field as her down. Please do your own research, do not let internet figures think for you.

Right, actually in the meantime starting from 1977 ISKCON had 43 "gurus" that stepped down and left a trail of destruction of at least ten thousand followers who put all their money into their so-called "gurus" projects. Copyright infringement is not a trivial offense and it is incomprehensible that RU-vid has not deleted this gentleman from the platform.

Just wondering if it was done by a social media manager? Ultimately he still would hold a great deal of responsibility but I could see that being the case. I have seen some big names do a great deal of damage to their brand by licensing out their name or hiring the wrong person to manage their social media.

No real "Honest" Monk of character does things like this, he just gives them a bad name. And when people see or hear from monks going forward, what will they make of them, can they be trusted again?

I suspected that too. It takes time for people to develop that kind of wisdom, which means they need to lead that kind of life to experience the truth about life by contributing to the society that they live in. To serve your responsibilities to your family, employer, friends and co-workers. Now this guy hardly even finished his mid twenties has all that level of wisdom and truth in him to teach the world? Time is the essence of everything which’s will reveal the cover. Not to forget Karma which is unforgiving. He certainly did a lot of reading and research before publishing the contents. For that he deserves credit but everyone does that kind of gimmick in the internet. But it’s also the ignorance of the audience nowadays who spend very little quality time reading authentic books written by reputable authors. That is why they are not able to distinguish between what is fake and authentic thereby falling victim to the easy to consume social media content.

When you listen to his podcasts and the numerous guests he brings in across the spectrum of human beings…. The way he engages with them isn’t something that could be paid off….it’s authentic and you can feel that. He brings a lot of good to the world…. Are YOU trying to capitalize on his name by putting this kind of video out for your own personal gain? Did he PAY to take acting class to pretend to be a world renowned coach?? Why not go to Hollywood and make movies for that matter? You should just focus on developing yourself…. If that's the case, why not question him straight and get a 1 to 1 live chat with him! I am not sure how someone can get that many awards by reputable organisations without even skimming through his contents. They must have run through or even asked this question to him! Stop spreading around calling him fake guru when you're not even close to him yeah. Nicole arbour is another crappy attitude, and you're flowing clearly from her...even if it's a plagiarised content, at least he's been spreading positivity across the world and he deserves to be in the place he is. So please do something fruitful and not downgrade others to uplift yours!!

Sharing positivity should be the reward in itself, not SCAMMING people out of their life savings, people keep coming forward saying they wanted to take his course but were just asked to pay $1,000. But yea why don’t u ask the most manipulative sounding influencer if he thinks he’s in the wrong

As positive as this sounded at the end? You inadvertently fell for the same that you are ‘alleging’. The world is full of it already. Why are we pushing more of living in mutual suspicion of one another? The message could have been passed across without using fake gurus-I’m not Hindi or anything like that by the way- just put out the message without ‘referencing’. There is an adage with my people. When you point a finger. Four are pointing back at you. Do not plagiarize. It can take you to jail. And this is the penalty (inserts explanation of plagiarism). Do not overly exalt another we are all the same … well I guess George Orwell was right? I’m not blind to think the world is perfect. Or that this comment might not bite me in the behind in the future. But isn’t that the beauty of humanity? At its best. We are human. And we are frail… Shalom

Yes the modalities and original philosophers deserve accreditation. Yet most of what we pass on to others is what has been passed onto us. Even our own personal theories are an accumulation of wisdom that we have found in others teachings. So should he really be casted as a fraud?? Btw I'm not a true follower of Jay Shetty. Plagiarism is wrong yet we all make mistakes. I feel as though to call him a complete fraud is to call all gurus, life coach's etc frauds for not mentioning every single reference from every single person we have learned from.

Just because, Jay shetty's pictures are not there as a Monk does not mean that he was not a Monk because he prioritised the journey of being a Monk at 22 instead of taking pictures, and making lots of videos at the age of 22 to upload on instagram at that time. Not everybody does that. Growth happens in silence, he did focus on himself in that part of his time is the reason of his wisdom. Just like while building a statue, the person has to shape it in the exact manner and avoid any course of actions that are not required. Jay Shetty is a wise man, even you agree to it after reading this book. And you are putting a question in people's mind through your title and video that he is a fraud and talking about plagiarism for his wisdom, so your video is having a negative impact on the viewers, instead you should have talked about the fact that his social media posts' issue could have been because of some wrong team member and no matter what you agree to the fact that you love his philosophy of life. Since, you say that you are also a life coach and you also gave 2 lessons at the end, but did you even think about viewers to hear the hidden by something that is done by you through this video i.e. like a hidden attack to a positive person which is not even close to spread positivity in the world. But it does seem that your intentions were not meant to actually harm but you were actually concerned for your viewers which means that you have a good heart too but when you watched video from Nicole Arbour, you used your mind and fear of betrayal too much that you were inspired to make this video. So, the crux is that I know your intentions were good with a true heart but your the way you made this video, tbh some parts of it, are kind of disturbing to the viewer. But it's alright, we do things and we learn just like I also made an effort to learn about your perspective. It'll be all good now.
