This world is a weird ass place. This couple got married, had children, raised them, worked their asses off into their later years, then their son got a strange addiction, spent all their money, & ended their lives. I mean honestly this entire story is wild.
i've heard of this case before and it just so so sad what he did to his family. they loved him and did everything for him and this is how he repays them and his poor big brother
What amazing parents!! imo a little(lot) of tough love should have taken place. But regardless these people sound like truly remarkable, loving and patient parents and of course his sibling Cody. They all loved him so much and only wanted the best for him. Sooooo sad!

Agreed! And FWIW, the people I know with the most money actually check for fraud MORE than most folks, because they have so much more to lose! So in my experience, they usually have automatic alerts set up on their accounts and have accountants who do regular audits of their finances, etc.
A lot of people don’t. Most people know what comes in and what comes out of their bank accounts. We are not rich, one of our account got hacked end of December early January. Our transactions were being declined when trying to use it our card. We would use a different card (because we didn’t have time to go to the bank and week days are very hectic for us) and a few days later, the bank sent my husband a text message, letting us know that our account had been hacked. We are definitely grateful that the bank canceled/put a block to our account and didn’t allow any transactions to go through.
I've been totally obsessed with this utterly bizarre, confusing and unbelievably tragic case ever since I first heard of it! Thanks so much for covering this; I'm really looking forward to your take on it! I think that some of my obsession stems from the fact that I recently lost my beloved dad to cancer, and I'd do damn near anything to have him back...yet this guy callously and shamelessly murdered his entire family- whose only mistake was that they had tried incredibly hard to help him- seemingly without remorse. It just blows my mind, and makes me SO angry! Now, I do unfortunately understand addiction all too well, and I absolutely believe that Grant was an addict, but still- to murder your entire family just to feed an addiction!? It's unthinkable to me. But what makes this case so unimaginably tragic and heartbreaking is that his family tried SO hard to help him...sadly, to the point where they most likely enabled him. As a parent, I can so totally understand wanting to protect your child from harsh consequences, so the fact that he repaid them for their remarkable willingness to help him avoid consequences at their expense with bullets to the head!? It's a literal nightmare scenario. May the memories of Chad, Cody and Margaret be a blessing to all who knew them, and may Jason find as much healing and peace as is possible.
I was sitting here at the part where they said there was no proof grant committed these murders thinking MOTIVE. Nobody else had a motive to take out his family and leave him alive! What an idiot he is for thinking he would get away with this! He is pathetic, his family tried to help him by not pressing charges. Little did they know this mistake would cost them their lives.

This is why I feel like parents should not bully or not give their kids boundaries. He was so upset because they started to be “strict” and actually gave him consequences to his actions. Smh
I actually was just watching his interrogation again last night, for the like 20th time, and I just can never get over him telling detectives that he had an "emotional" connection with her and it was like a "relationship." So delusional, pathetic, downright sad. I doubt she thought about him one time during the day, ever, unless it was about the money he was giving her.
Yes omg, like to be capable of murdering your family in right/ I think sober mind. And then say you have an emotional connection w a cam girl you rob your family dry to pay to speak to you shows how deluded he really is and completely out of touch with himself, empathy or emotions at that. The connection he felt was dopamine.

I’ve actually seen the interrogation of Grant. He is just as grey and cold being interrogated/confessing as you’d expect this ungrateful, lazy minded, entitled and evil murder to be. His lack of remorse left me feeling sick in shock and amazement after. (If you like watching Criminal Interrogations I’d definitely check it out!!)

I really like how you do so much research on your videos. I have watched this case on other site's, but you definitely give more information and details. I have to write and say about Michael Jackson. Dr. Murray first was never allowed to administer Propofol in anyone's home whatsoever. Secondly, Dr. Murray did give Michael the right amount to put him to sleep. But as with any drug, the longer you are on it, the more you need to get the same results as before. Dr. Murray should never ever have left Michael alone. This was his grave mistake. He left to phone his wife I believe in the other room. What we have come to conclude is that Michael had woken up while the Dr. was in the other room, and being still dazed by what he had in his system, and being so frustrated that he was awake when he should have been asleep, he most likely administered more propofol to himself. That is why you never never leave anyone alone ever when they are on an anesthesia type of medication. They put my sister on it to basically keep her asleep until healing had started. Michael, being in his dazed state didn't even know how much he had administered to himself. That is why Dr. Murray was charged with negligence causing death and was sentenced to jail. The fact that people were saying that the Dr. murdered Michael deliberately is such a stupid statement. Michael was paying the Dr. huge amounts of money, so there is no reason whatsoever for Dr. Murray to kill the goose that laid the golden egg so to speak. He would never have gotten any money from Michael ever again. People should really think about a situation before they give some wild and stupid accusations. I really really enjoy your videos, you are so pretty, and your make up is done so well.
Ive heard this case many, many times over, but i will listen again if its you telling it! This case is a wild one. Leaves me very torn because its horrible for the victims, but why didnt they cut him off sooner?? Very sad situation
It is so upsetting to see this beautiful and loving family get murdered by one of their own. Grant needed to be in not rehab but, a psych place temporarily to get the help he needed. He spiraled and could not see his way out. Only to spiral more. The parents were too forgiving and that may have played a role. If they cracked down early on him he may not have lulled into this funk and became delullusional. He would have had to pull himself together before his make believe world was erected.
propofol is a very heavy sedative used ONLY in hospital settings & usually as a way to put a patient to sleep for a procedure. i used to deliver it when i was a pharmacy tech :)

This can be what happens when you let people run through your boundaries.. Making excuses for someone you loves criminal behavior, for so long and for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I don't know what that family expected once they put rules in place. He obviously had issues but them paying for his porn addiction is disgusting. First of all. Maybe I missed it but are his parents not wondering what he’s doing all day? My parents told me if I tried to move back in with Them after college, they would charge me rent. They certainly would not let me sit on my butt all day on the computer. They would literally physically force me out of the home to go find a job. Thanks to them I am a functional adult. So where was everyone else when he was on the computer and why didn’t they get more upset about all the money he was stealing?
Also when Grant was on all-expense paid trip to Japan he stole monies from his "friends" Cody being the amazing person he was took that debt on as his own. While visiting a whole other country Grant was the same sick obsessed creep and went to an internet cafe to access his cam girl "girlfriend"

FYI, the woman who are actually doing the shows , generally don’t even get half of that money, depending on the site. Iirc, it’s usually about 30% if your lucky. You should do a video on Aggie Albert she was raped and murdered outside a church in Covington Virginia on July 3, 1993. The priest quickly left town and the case is still unsolved. Aggies niece has been trying to get answers, but the police refuse to tell her anything

That and endless texts begging for free videos/pics thinking it's something that it's not. It's not only pathetic but infuriating lmao But I had one customer who i found out was sending not only every dime he had, but sending what was meant to be child support for his disabled son and "borrowing" money from his ex wife. I found this all out bc she found me on facebook and posted on my wall saying that i was fucking a married man and stealing money from her child's mouth for uber rides. Which to me was very confusing until i found out the truth and that he lied to her. I can’t stand people like him who use money in such a wasteful way. I am going to write that you are very very wrong when you said there is nothing wrong when people do this. If it isn't wrong, then the husbands and wives should tell their spouses what they are doing, and the same for boyfriends and girlfriends. Do you even know how many marriages have been destroyed because of this sick site as well as others? Children now have one parent to live with, and boyfriends and girlfriends have broken up after finding out about their significant other doing this and other sickening things with porn. So, you can never convince me that it is okay and that there is nothing wrong with this. This destroys lives, destroys children's worlds and damages so many people in the process. The ripple effect spreads wide which includes friends and family members. I hope you and others will change your minds and realize that this is so very very wrong on every level. This case is definitely an extreme one, but again 3 innocent lives were taken from this earth. So, don't anyone ever tell me this is okay. And sadly his family were enabling him. The best thing would have been for his Aunt or his parents to press charges, because he would have to then be accountable for what he alone did by stealing money from his family and his Aunt. Perhaps he would have spent enough time in jail to rethink about the rest of his life. May they all Rest in Peace, and how horrific for Jason who had lost his entire family.
I’m from Florida and went to high school with an Amato but if these boys are going to UF they clearly are wealthy they call UF the Harvard of the south. I went to USF in Tampa but these kids are SO PRIVILEGED! And Florida is full of them!
