I love your channel. Very inspirirational. The pounds are slow to go, but I'm building muscle and watching my morning glucose going down by 5 - 10 points a day. My husband and I are celebrating my numbers.

Great to see this video for those of us who are not morbidly obese but struggle with overeating and being our best selves. Personally I follow Walter Kempner, the founder of the Rice Diet, who educated me about all of this. Food is addictive, especially modern processed foods. I was a victim until I wiped out everything except REAL food. Sodium is an appetite stimulant and promotes retention of fluid. I read labels and eschew products with a high sodium content. Let's talk about blood pressure-many medications could be eliminated if folks ate food from the ground. Bottom line is that calories do count. When a patient complained to Dr. Kempner that although he was complying with the Rice/Fruit regimen, his weight loss stalled. Dr. Kempner recommended that the patient increase his walking from 5 to seven miles. It only took two days for this patient to get results. Sometimes radical results require radical measures. Walter K. once said that the demon had to be "dragged out by the roots. " Is this fun? NO but it can be lifesaving for people to save themselves.

Really loved this video. Have to realize that we should try to understand that each person loses weight in so many different ways…fast, slow, big numbers, small numbers. All those results matter!! As long as we are consistent in the plan (I’m doing real well with the 2 meal plan right now)…results will build up. Just keep going, engage in the ELAB community with big or small results, struggles, and successes. We all get it😊🌻

I lost 20lbs in a few months and have been doing this diet for over a yr...but now still doing the diet..my weight is up ..and have stayed at same lb for over 3 months .can't even lose ounces.. guess I'm gonna cut out more ...idk..it's really frustrating

Take some time to approach what you're doing like a detective. It does sometimes take some focus, but do it now so that you can leverage the good days ahead.

I don't know how many of the subscribers are doing it, but do this exercise: Google century cases of Weight Watchers and consider their decades-old multi-million platform. Frankly, I don't see any other platform out there that tracks their century cases. I do. If it seems like a small number, I agree that we need more people doing this. It is life-changing. And by the way, keep doing what is working for you. That's awesome.

Here's a better one: Noom has 50M downloads, is valued at nearly $4B, and has about 50 success cases on its website, only 5 of whom are century cases. Yes, little old me back here doing all this on a shoestring and pretty much always nearly under water, has "only" 200+ century cases. How small-time...

To me, that’s 200 people losing A LOT of weight that otherwise may not have. I don’t look at statistics with a fine toothed comb….I look at what’s working for me and I LOVE the ELAB plans and community.
