I saw it constantly when I was using dating apps. Single dads are the worst about bringing their children on dates, posting pics and videos of their children's faces, introducing children to dangerous people, and trying to force a relationship between his kid and his new gf.
I've had multiple single dads be angry because I didn't want to date them because I'm childfree but they only want me because I don't come with kids. The hypocrisy.

They were going through horrible things…I needed them to feel validated and safe with me…but always I was afraid of being seen as a malicious parent, as keeping them away from him, inappropriately, especially when they did not want to go to him. Courts had not -maybe they’ve improved lately but, they used to not give a shit, unless there was overt signs of physical violence. A friend of mine has a son who has a rare serious medical condition-one that he takes medication for on a daily basis. When she and her husband were getting divorced he could not name what the condition was when asked. He had no idea what med his son takes or how often he takes it. This man was seeking sole custody, he did not get it.

My father was a teen parent and he got married to my mom and they continued to have kids. He was a single father when they got divorced. He took my siblings and I on my moms days cause she wanted to go out and party. He took basically full custody when my mom moved away with her boyfriend. And you know what? He was fucking happy and loved his kids and while he didn’t want my mom moving away, he did enjoy having us more. But you know what else? Yes this is why I’m childfree my close friend went through allot with the father of her kids. She told him ok she gives up he can have them full time, this is after he went to court and cried about time. So the judge gave him every weekend and he complained about that cause my friend was able to have relief on the weekends to go out. It was never about the kids. I just realized men treat their kids like the aunty that comes to visit, or as if it's a friends pet they're sitting. They play with them when they want and then pass them on to the mother. I have a child, but I'm also an Auntie 😂, I look after them for my sis sometimes when she goes to work in the evening. This is what I do play, chill, feed, sometimes bath and get them ready for bed. I love them 😂, but I couldn't do it 24/7. I am glad I lived at home when I had my daughter, I am truly grateful 😂.

My Dad liked us. My best friend's husband likes his kids. But my husband... I would say that he loves them and wants them to do well, but he enjoys them almost not at all.😢 He really didn't know what it would be like to have children. I didn't either, but I adjusted and learned to enjoy it. So, if there's a recital, he'll show up and clap and all that, but it's exhausting for him, because he sees it as a duty. There's no playing with the kids. I had to take over teaching them how to ride bikes, because when he did it he just was so grumpy and intense that he made it into a horrible experience where they felt like they were failing and disappointing their father, and people can't learn under those conditions! I had to give them a break from trying and then run along after them holding the seat making jokes, like my dad did for me. My husband sees life as a series of boxes to check off, and once he's done his tasks he can finally go be by himself. This includes things like "hug child" "listen to child talk for 2 minutes and nod" and then he's like "okay I did it, bye". (Pretty sure he had "get married" on a checklist, too, which breaks my heart.) He's depressed and anxious and likely autistic, but like you say, all that doesn't make the children's experience of him any less harmful.
I really didn't didn't realize so many fathers felt that way about their kids. But I did always find it amazing how little work they put in most of the time and how people just expect that.

Otherwise, when there is a death decree, the accounts are locked, including the banking accounts. You can't get access to anything. Having a job for even two days out of the week keeps you connected to something in the event something happens to your husband and you need access to cash. Just keep all that in mind too. Take care.
I'm 30. My dad knows what medication I take, what dosage, and what time (my mom does too). My dad took temp guardianship of me at 27 so I didn't have to do in patient psych treatment. again I am THIRTY. This is what good dads do, your children are your children no matter the age. If you can't see yourself doing this for your adult children....probably don't have any.

Let’s add the fact that their social status raises significantly when they are married and they have kids. As a man, you are seen problematic, violent and impotent if you are old enough to have a family and you don’t have one, especially if you look decent, you are healthy and you can provide for yourself. Their general worth in society is to provide for a family, but that does NOT make them capable to take care of one and it certainly does not guarantee that they like it.

I always find it very interesting when a straight couple divorces and work out a custody arrangement and the fathers are flailing and complaining about taking care of their own kids. They can't even do the 50% of the labor. At least after a divorce, the dad is held accountable for his labor because it's court-ordered I guess. It makes sense why more moms are willingly to have less custody and just pay the child support.
Ironically, women likely get more of a break when it comes to custody arrangements bc at least there is a schedule and she leaves the dad with all responsibility.

Yeah the father of our 3 sons said in january how he dislikes the kids and that most men feel like this most of the time. I left him 2 weeks later. @@susuileamura yk bad people exist in the world, they all were children at some point, children can be annoying they can be unlikeable and then they grow into unlikeable adults. you dont have to like every single child just because its a child, and what if a child isnt cute? does that mean its okay to not like them then? this is why children are constantly being mistreated because people are wanting kids just because theyre cute and not understanding that a child is a whole living being . what if a dog is cute but aggressive>? do i have to like it just because its cute? kids need love, they need nurturing and lots of patience and its okay to not want to give that and not want to deal with kids that eat up money time affect your career smear shit all over the walls break things just to break things, its okay to not like that and completely healthy to be honest about it
@susuileamura not everyone likes children. They're noisy, hard work have no filter. So long as a person who doesn't like them doesn't hurt them, what's the problem? I like them until they're preteen, that's when they become irksome to me.

My ex wanted to have kids despite lying and saying he didn't when we first met.... he would try to triangulate to try and make me jealous (nobody's jealous of your dusty ex) or speak about his culture and tradition as a reason for me having a child. He would say babies are small and don't take up space or cost much money.... but also tried to convince me he had an accounting qualification from his home country... the numbers are the same in 3very language and if you DON'T know how expensive children are whilst claiming to be an accountant, everything about you is a lie.
@brunoqnzbk7891 they love dogs because they're obedient. That's it at the end of the day. Men probably make 90% of all trophy hunters across the world, which is a useless "profession" and shouldn't even be considered a hobby. It brings no value to the world if anything they're creating an unbalanced nature and destroying ecosystems, which then affects us.
And if they do have an animal, it's always about CONTROL. I ALWAYS feel bad for those animals and wonder what kind of horror treatment they live with....
It’s how many men feel for sure. The same men who rant and rave about how their gender is entitled to s3x and can have lots of it without “caring for the woman”. Yet women are labeled and thrown away as worthless if we admit to that same thing. Mothers can be overworked- but there is a different bond that a mother will have with their children. You dudes just don’t want to admit that men love and or tolerate children solely based on how they feel about the MOTHER.
This is the set of circumstances created for and by males. A group that perpetually has assigned the existential purpose of another group to "have kids" when they themselves are incapable of doing so. This is the world males desired and built.
I'm a 40year old woman who has never been married and no children. I don't hate children and I think that if you are married to the right person then he or she wants to be a mother and father for ALL of the right reasons and they can be a great disciplinarian then the child or children will come out right. There's nothing wrong with children they deserve love, care, respect, discipline, boundaries and a roof over their heads (safe home).
I have made the mistake of getting married twice, especially to the second husband. But something in me knew not to have kids with either one of them and I’m so glad I didn’t. Would have been hell on earth. This behavior from men seems to be the norm. I hate that Single Mom song going around. These men are ruthless.
My cousin, father of 5 (would have been 7 if his wife had not miscarried twice), once said "Look at my people! I just like to look at them." Like the kids were a collection he made. His homeschooling, Christian (exhausted) wife left him after the oldest ones graduated high school. He then parentified the older kids (currently 26, 25, and 24) to raise the last 2 (currently 16 and 14). They all still live at home...it's weird, because he is the provider (only one working outside the home), but if something happens to him, I worry about the kids-they have no real life experience. There are 4 girls (oldest 4) and the last one is the only boy. He and his son have their own rooms, while the 4 girls (really grown women) are in 1 room with bunkbeds, and it's not even the biggest room in the house.
@@cosmosadorabilis7677 sadly, she cheated and he used that as leverage to keep the kids. Honestly, I think she deserves a part-time parent role since she went from her father's house to her married house -- no college or work experience to have a bigger network of people to interact with--just 3 kids back to back, then 10 years later 2 more. I think she cheated with a guy she met when she finally enrolled in some college courses.
Mom and children are NOT safe. Respectfully, I hope she does the SILENT work to GET OUT SAFE or this male will cause her family to mourn untimely. Much love. ❤
A lot of these men think this way. A lot of fathers are not in the lives of their children. A lot of fathers are killing their own children a lot of them. Think this way. And this is how you know that a lot of them aren't capable of being single parents and yet single Mother's are talked down on.
They even use these “statistics” on the internet to prove that single fathers are better at raising children than single mothers. And one of the qualifying factors as to why single fathers is .. ( get this) because of help from female relatives /caretakers. Smh… But shame single women who have help from their own female relatives or any kind of relative for that matter.
It broke my heart that you can hear his kids in the background as he said all those things. Right in front of them. I don’t want to rewatch but I think there was even a “dada?” in response to what he was saying. 😢💔
Some men want to have children, but they don't want the responsibility of helping the mother take care of the children. If you don't want the responsibility of taking care of children and raising them to be productive members of society, then don't have children. 5-9-2024(Thurs)

I hope she gets away from him! I hope she goes to the cops! She and those kids are in danger! Here's what I don't get: He KNEW after the FIRST child he didn't want to be a parent! Why TF have more?!
Use a condom or get a vasectomy if you hate having kids so much. Honestly, I grew up without a biological dad, but I've had loving fatherly figures in my life which I'm thankful for. I feel bad for those poor kids. They can't help if their dad is crappy.
There’s a ton of people who don’t really love children and who shouldn’t have them but they have them because they think they have to. People need to be honest
People also need to stop pushing the narrative that it's our only purpose to have kids. It's a sick narrative to push for people who aren't able to cope with the hardships of parenthood
