This Video Is About The Trending Topic Going On About White People And Black People Hygiene , it's Centered On Mostly White People's Hygiene - Not Bathing Everyday Is It A White People's Culture? #Washcloth #Hygiene
Have you been on reddit? It's a daily occurrence to see someone ask how often to shower, brush their teeth and change their underwear like we didn't go through a whole pandemic They will FIGHT you about showering once a day. Literally try to shame the folks that shower daily talking about dry skin...meanwhile they're covered in 3 days worth of dirt and undies that can walk themselves into the hamper
I'm a Southerner. You'd BET NOT be caught slipping on _anything_ or you'd be roasted not just that day but for months, for as long as people remember you did it. And your parent will be angry if you shame them with poor hygiene/grooming, so they stay on you. I remember my mom would say the same chant every morning to make sure we did certain things before school.
If you're black and you don't use a washcloth or NOBODY in your family has introduced you to that concept, you must be adopted. Ain't no way. Exfoliation is a whole way of life for me. Washcloths, mitts, scrubs, clays, butters all of it is deeply embedded into blackness.
Imagine your man cheating on you with a woman that has a dirty poom poom. I don't condone cheating at all and this is one of the reasons. You never know.
In middle school we used to have shuttle school buses. Meaning the bus would visit multiple schools to pick up students. So one particular day, it was raining really hard. When we arrived to the predominantly white school, students boarded the bus. The bus then filled with this musky, wet dog smell. The rest of us (white included) who were already on the bus were baffled. One of the students from my school let their intrusive thoughts win. She blurted out "yall need to bathe! Yall stank" . So, one of the students from the predominantly white school felt (rightfully) attacked. And he yelled back, "I do bathe! I bathe 2 twice a week!" And he had other (white) students in agreement. The bus. Went. Quiet. It all made sense. I then knew. 😩😩
I use 2 washcloths because I was taught as a child 1 washcloth for the face & 1 for the body. The face cloth never goes on the body & body cloth never goes on the face.
Nope 🙅, for some of them it's not a joke. They actually think that we are wrong for bathing twice a day. I had one tell me, that I am stripping my skin of its natural oils. I told her to go and take a sniff of her V, that's the stench of her natural oils.
@@rebeccarocklynnxthat logic makes no sense 😂 No love for your legs but your feet and hands gotta be clean. Obviously washing hands is for the safety of the community, but washing your legs is for the sanctity of your home
@@abellabarbieoh nah they wash their hair everyday or every other day Shit just gets dirty FAST like white tennis shoes 😂 Idk how the hell they leave their body out the equation. But these are also the same people that when they DO bathe, they only do it in the morning and take outside dirt to sleep in their beds. See what matters to them is presentation not quality. They bathe only in the morning because they care if people find their night sweats stinky. That get on their beds with outside clothes. People that walk around the house with sneakers on. While coming to work covered in dog hair🤦🏿♂️
Yes I always showered after bathing in the tub! A bath is not enough you haven't actually washed the dirt off you just soaked in water and the dirt sat around you. Your body needs to be scrubbed to get rid of dirt and dead skin.
YES!!! I love a good soak. Hell I patronize Korean spas for a deep scrub monthly... even they make you shower before going in, AND there's an attendant watching to make sure you're thorough. Who are these people???
So, they also think if you go for a swim in the pool or the ocean that is the equivalent of a bath😳 We went through a global pandemic and they still.wont wash their entire body. A UTI from a washcloth??? What are you doing to the washcloth?🧐
No, absolutely no white person I know thinks the pool or ocean or creek or river is a substitute for a bath. And every white woman I know washes their entire body. White men...some white men...they don't bathe their legs. But then again I know a black man who won't bathe, he smells so bad. Then there was that viral story about a black man that wouldn't wash his butt crack thinking the shampoo across his butt was washing it. Overall, I think there's a lot of ignorance going on in this comment section. That's not anyones fault, it's just a lack of exposure and knowledge. Then cherry picked clips in videos like this don't help. I noticed there's no clips or comments shown of the many many white people saying they wash every day and the lady who only bathes her kids twice a week is gross.
Do they wash their dishes with their hand? I want what they're smoking to think that washing your crack with your hand is cleaner than using a rag. I have a yt female friend that was in the Army. She said when they were stationed in Iraq, the black women on the base had to teach the yt women how to properly wash because the smell coming from the women's quarters with all that heat and constant sweating was unbearable. The order came direct from command. Like command literally said, get the blk women to teach the yt women how to wash themselves properly! 🤣🤢 My friend said she learned a ton that she was never taught as a kid. Like washing your arms, legs AND feet, using a separate rag to wash your crack and cat and not just your hand, and to wash the back of your neck and behind your eyes. I was like, "What the hell were you doing in the shower before?" She was like, "Obviously nothing."
@@saramatthews7159 When you have to live with the funk as the alternative, you can make exceptions. I know I would've played mammy for a minute to not smell hot tuna while I'm sleeping. Also, when you sign up for the military all expectations of free will go out the window so they didn't really have a choice. And would it shock you that the military is racist and sexist?
They said using a washcloth is nasty, NOT using a washcloth, and washing your WHOLE body is nasty. Y'all REALLY! 1 washcloth a day never hurt anyBODY.( That's a total 7 washcloth a week)
Yeah I get you. I'm just trying to brainstorm on what else it could be. lol! People are nasty. Look into Italy towels. I tell people always to use them. If you aren't using italy towels you're not getting clean. @@JusttheMessenger88
I lather up 3x also! Regular soap, scrub, and moisturizing shower oil - top to bottom. I have a different washcloth that I use only for my face and behind my ears. Every time I shower. A quick shower means that I only soap up twice😂
I know I babysat Once for a white woman and she said that her kids don't take showers so I said ok thinking that she meant they preferred showers😂 I quickly found out that they didn't bath or put deodorant on after they were in the sprinklers and the Funk was so bad that I had to watch my hair and self 3x to get the smell out of my hair and off my body. I had to throw away my clothes. I Never went back!
They forgot their Ancestors died from the Bubonic Plague/ Black Death. Millions passed due to filth and living into and amongst the filth. And they walking right into that mess.
That's why so many people in Britain died of covid, it spread so fast here and killed a lot of people. They had to have posters to show people how to wash their hands because people were not washing properly. I regularly see ww go into the toilet and not wash their hands after using it. It doesn't even shock me anymore sadly
I've worked and lived around with many people of all races. Only 1 white person smelled like vinegar. So has one black. I've also known black people who smelled like rotten onions, bad fish and tooth decay, and brown people who smell like b.o. I personally couldn't care less about how often or what method they use to clean their own bodies. What matters is whether others around them have to smell at the end of the day. Some people are sweatier, hairier, oilier and have stronger diets or hormones, so what's necessary for one person is not for others. Yes, underwear should be changed after every shower. Soap and washcloths are dirtier than loofah or liquid body wash. They hold more bacteria. Especially if you don't wash the washcloth evertime.
They think using a washcloth is gross because they allow so much funk and dirt to accumulate that by the time they would use one it'd be disgusting. I keep telling these men. These are the same type of women who were teen girls in school who didn't flush after leaving poop in the toilet and they'd walk out without washing their hands. Then have the nerve to toss their hair and call your people "dirty." Just...
Some of us have washing machines. I throw my towels in after a shower. Throw the wash cloth in too. Wash cloths are sold in packs, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. These people are crazy.
By killing the stronger of us off with diseases… 😂 but seriously. Andrew Jackson conquered Florida and dominated the Native Americans by giving them dirty blankets infected with chickenpox. Columbus killed off the Taino / Arawaks, too… just nasty. 🤮
But we are from a land of riches (rich in gold , diamonds, minerals, oil , uranium and more. They didn’t civilized us they colonized us because the had hun powder. You never needed to colonize because our land already had an abundance of natural resources and land mass.

I shower twice a day as a white person because that’s what I need for my body/hygiene. With a washcloth and a Korean scrubby mitt. It is so aggravating to me that other white people view cleanliness so passively. A washcloth is exactly that - A WASHCLOTH FOR WASHING!!!
Native Americans had regular sweat baths and very good hygiene. The first Europeans to invade were astonished at how good my ancestors’ teeth were. Then after colonialism when Native Americans were at their lowest the wyts would shame them for being dirty. And take pictures.
Yep, I’ll take it even further 😂! I use a wash cloth for my face, a separate cloth for my private areas and I use a loofah for my body. I change wash cloths every day! Yep, I never use a wash cloth twice! As soon as I finish my shower, my wash cloths go into the laundry hamper! My mom raised me that way! She is the hygiene queen 😂!
as someone who has lived in european countries (i am african) they really dont like to wash everyday. there are exceptions of course. but the thing of not washing everyday is more normalised in colder european countries (you have to imagine that one back in the day they had lack of access to clean water, and then also soaps and such things and also it was very very cold, and still is in most northerin european countries so, washing every day aka being in contact with water (back in the day it cost time and money to get warm water) coul lead to getting sick/a cold which is why they have this thing of not washing everyday imbedded in their culture. I dont understand however why they havent and dont update their washing routines considering the access to tech now adays. I still maintain the same wash routines in europe as I did in africa. Also remeber in colder countires you dont sweat as much as in hotter countries. My friend fomr brazil and my other friend form thailand for example (both countires close to the equator (closer to the equator the hotter the country) they wash twice aday even in the moring to start the day and in the eveining to go to bed and wash even at least once aday with cold water because its that hot there and people end up sweating alot. But I noticed more souther europeans have better grooming habits then norther europeans.
I definitely think it's important information you included about the geographic locations. That makes it easier to understand why some do and some don't.
I’m from Australia, and we are heading into winter. A lot of white folks here skip morning showers or don’t bother to freshen up for after work drinks.
My friend and I were sat in "mixed" company in college once and were talking about our hair wash days. At the time, we had braid in, so we were washing hair once every 3 weeks. The 2 white people in the conversation go 👀 "you all shower every 3 weeks?" We let them know shower caps exist and that we shower twice a day. They go 😱😱 "what do you mean you shower every day?" So we asked them how often they shower.. they proudly shared they shower weekly. Twice a week if they feeling sexy. One said she soaks in a bathtub of water. My friend and I gave eachother the look so we didn't even ask about washcloths and soap. We had to live with these people and didn't want to know too much.
My white ex told me when hes on holiday after wearing boxers for a week he go ahead and turn them inside out because its effort to remember extra pairs! This is common apparently 🤢 And this is why i dont do swimming pools
Omg girl abegg you slept this kind of man?? Jesus Christ 🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️ The level of dirtiness is out of this world. I truly have a gem for a husband. Anyway I thank God he is YOUR EX.
My 1st time traveling to Europe was an entire culture shock...I got off the plane and my nose was highly offended. But I just thought, ok people have been on long flights so that's why i smell body odor (even though i don't stink). Then after my friend picked me up and I got settled in and showered and started to explore Italy I realized that smell was a lot of places... she was like girl, they don't bathe over here and don't wear deodorant.
I KNOW THAT TUB IS NASTY AS HELL 🤢🤮 I ALWAYS 🚿 B4 A 🛀🏽 BECAUSE I DON'T WANT 2 SIT IN MY OWN DAMN DIRT. THEN I RISE AGAIN 2 MAKE SURE THE BUBBLES ARE ALL OFF. SHE SAID AFTER 7 DAYS & WAS JUST RUNNING A BATH... LIKE THAT IS GROSS AF DUDE. HELL NA! 🤦🏽♀️
White person here… this was news to me too. I went over to a guy’s house and not a single wash cloth in the house. And he didn’t have a loofah. How are you washing yourself? And he had kids! I work outside and I stank (not stink), there is no way I could possibly get the stank off without a wash cloth and anti bacterial soap.
I'm a BW living in NYC, so we get 4 seasons. At any given time, I'm using one washcloth strictly for my face, ears, & neck area. I use a second washcloth for my body, plus shower exfoliator gloves. I lather up 2 times: 1st lather using Irish Spring peppermint bar soap using a washcloth (yep, I'm old school 😁), then rinse. The 2nd lather, I use my gloves and Dr Bronner's Peppermint or Eucalyptus liquid castile soap. I lather my entire body each time. I shower daily every morning, and either wash up or take a 2nd shower at night. I shower twice during summer months and/or on days I workout regardless the season. I change my underwear and socks DAILY.
I’m a white woman in the South, and sadly this is a thing amongst SOME white women who bathe weekly. Some bizarre spin off from hippy culture. I know 2 drop dead gorgeous women that seemingly brag about only washing their hair once a week, and use dry shampoo or baby powder on their hair to sop up the grease! And yes, their homes were also disgusting, tons of animals & trash everywhere, nasty cat boxes & the FUNK. My hair must be washed daily, and my body.
I believe this is a European thing. Not that long ago I saw this Mexican content creator talking about her experience in Spain, and how people judged her because she showers everyday lol. She said people out there don’t shower often and how they all stink 😂. Here in US I can say the majority of white people do shower everyday lol. I work at a barbershop and the majority of clients don’t stink 😂! Thank god lol 🙏❤️!
Oh hell no. Did i just hear wearing the same underwear for a week 😳? Even if i involved myself in this tomfoolery, the FBI themselves wouldnt be able to get this info out of me even through water boarding. Wtf did i just hear 😳 😂.
I'm South African they don't shower everyday, those who do are the exception and the weird ones. Not washing legs, not scrubbing the body and not using a wash cloth, loofah or body scrub. Just hands. Its a Universal thing this not washing culture amongst European descendants.
I went for a sleepover to my south African friend. I spent the weekend there. She didn't shower😲😲😲i was shocked. We even went out cooking, dancing and drinking.
I’m a black woman and once had a friend who was also a black woman tell me that she didn’t use wash clothes because it seemed unhygienic. I’m starting to think this is also tied to class economics wise cause poor people from non white cultures who have the resources to, seem to be the most hygienic to me. She grew up in a white suburb but both her parents were black and very Christian so it shocked me. I can’t judge her but I did have to explain to her that she can invest in anti microbial types of wash clothes. I use an African netting sponge and a regular wash cloth. I told her that it does wonders for the skin and it’s basically a way of polishing the largest organ your body has. Treat your skin like fine leather and it’ll pay you back!
This may sound strange but I’ve noticed white people have a distinct smell. My line of work requires going into their homes and it’s a 100% true. On a side note but related single elderly black men have a distinct smell too, not the women though. 🤔
Great question! lol Only thing I can think of is those who don’t regularly bathe maybe. That would make it make sense. But it is a difference between yt and and old black single men.
As a kid i hated bathing. Not sure why (i am black) if my mom did not small soap on me i was going in again. I learned to accept it. As an adult i wash twice and use a brush for my nails and feet. Also a scrubber for my back. I have taught my kids this. I worked with a lady who never bathed at night. I was like but you have "all day " on you! She said i get it off in the morning. She was married. She showered if they were having fun time but not any other. I CAN NOT SLEEP DIRTY. WTF! 😂 Im waking up😂
Remember one of my favorite kpop boybands PH1armony members saying wyt fans stank like rotten tomatoes at of their concerts 😂😂😂😂. Like don't want they even make an effort attending public events?????
Yes it is, I have a few dutch friends and most of them wash them self, but showers every other day or once a week. I don't understand this, and when i tell them I shower 3 times a day, they look at me like I'm an alien or something. I just think it's nasty not shower everyday, just nasty.
how is using a washcloth nasty because you use it all over your body but a towel to dry yourself isnt? are you going to burn the towel too after you finish drying yourself?
I'm wondering if it's people in certain parts of the US. Places where it doesn't get hot and humid. I live in the South. It gets hot and humid here. Body parts will get swampy here. I can smell myself if I don't bathe/shower daily. I shower every morning. My husband, who is also white, showers every morning. Every white person I know personally bathes or showers daily. I don't use a wash cloth (another thing I've heard white people don't do) but it's because I use either a poof or a bath glove. I wash everything with soap (preferably not really soap because it's drying, Dove or a moisturizing body wash). I shampoo my hair daily, ignoring the advice of every white person I know who says that I shampoo too often because their hair is greasy and I know if I don't shampoo daily, mine will be, too. I use conditioner daily. I use a powder to keep the folds from getting wet and swampy and irritated. It is necessary where I live. I will often soak in the tub at night with Dr. Teal's soak. I change my clothes daily. I use fresh towels daily. White people... damnit, quit embarrassing us.Please take baths/showers, use soap, use deodorant/antiperspirant, change your damn panties daily, change your sheets at least weekly, brush your teeth at least twice a day, and season your damn food. The Cajuns can't be the only ones who make our race look good. Get it together!
For the record, you use a new wash cloth EVERY DAY not the same one everyday. 😂😂 this conversation never gets old for me 😂😂. My girl educating on soap is a real one 😂😂 doing Gods work out here 😂😂. A WHOLE PERSONALITY OUT OF BEING DIRTY 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I take a shower every day before bed, and I wash up before work and when I get home before a workout. I used to use wash cloths, but I prefer a loofah now because I get more of a lather, but it's a full body scrub down. I feel dirty if I don't wash my entire body. I do wash my hair every day pretty much because my hair loves water, and I have a dirty job, but I don't understand the attention for one aspect of the body but not the other. Wash everything. Period. At least on your body, every day.
I watched a clip of a woman who said she moves her bowels in the shower. Most bathe once a week or every five days. Now on top of that, we know they don't use washcloths. Please explain the fascination Black men have for them.
@@nicholetaimi5331 Yea, f'real. They sitting up here talking about bw all day long, but got a frowsy, no-hygeien having wife. But they're not ready to have that conversation though.
Im a nurse, and believe me, they are not trolling...this one wyt woman said she doesn't was her poonanie because it takes the moisture away. So she only wash her kitty once every other week...and th a tat only after her period...
I use to work at a car dealership and there was this one whyte girl that would smell SO BADDDDD of bv 🥴 she went over a year untreated. The seats would smell after her. And i swear NOBODY would bat an eye at her smell except for me. I thought i was going crazy. Its like they use to the funk smell. Nobody would react to her smell except for me . I was also the only black girl workinng there.
I only soap my arms and legs a couple times a week, or I get eczema. Soap is super drying and those areas are susceptible, so my doc recommended this unless I have sweated/gotten muddy/gone swimming that day. I wash face/feet/crevices in every shower, and shower daily plus extra showers after workouts. I change underwear twice/day & wash my hands frequently. I don't miss eczema, so I'm going to keep not soaping my arms and legs daily lol. Lawd some people are truly gross, though. Yt XY in particular are sooooo filthy 🤢
