Put a AMG 6.2L in it. Make it a true successor to the SLS and worthy of the AMG badge. The AMG GT 63 powered by DDE. The GT3 car was powered by the m156 anyway.
M156 is the c63 engine the amg gt3 uses a further developed sls engine and its called the m159 engine but thats probely way to expensive so a tuned m156 would do the job and yes please build the gt3 race car with a 6.2 engine
DDE should really sponsor this build for Mike. I know they pay him well, but it would be really cool to do him this solid especially that this car is providing us some great content!
Oh don't worry! They give it hard in the back end for Mike! They will cover him one hole or another... Maybe even in the front end at the same time. It's wild at DDE!

Mike and DDE is a match made in heaven. A professional who is so good at being energetic on camera, keeping the viewer hooked through story telling and asking open questions, and delineating procedures in a concise and informative way coupled with a production company that does a very successful job of exploiting viewer’s attention span through music selection, angles, effects, transitions, etc
They need to put up HD outdoor cameras and mount them to the roof and point them at The Block, then whenever someone is doing donuts or goes flying into the back before the camera gets there, it would be captured on the roof cams

screw the 1000 hp, use the real amg gt3 engine, side exit exhausts, one of the best sounding race cars imo, the people seem to lean towards that more, you don't need 1000 hp to be a track weapon, trust me Michael Essa
Once the fleet is up and running you will have the best collection.. Its a nail biter because from our eyes, your success is measured by builds and your additions to the channel. However, you guys made it through many challenges we dont see or and plans we dont know about. We may be a little upset at this moment that some stuff isnt running. But no one is doing what you do PLUS daily uploads. We cant wait for these builds they are so good. DDE fam sticking around till the bitter end
I dunno who Mark thinks he's foolin with this "I'm not sure I'm gonna keep this car, it's got too many problems!" He LOVES this shit! Look at how face lights up when he's describing all the failure that must be occurring for his AMG to look like torpedoed U-Boat. He loves fixing this stuff. He loves playing detective and figuring problems out. And he loves explaining everything to the camera, almost like a shop teacher. He's totally in his element, he's glowing.
The fact Steven said it's like a Ferrari gearbox and not a Getrag gearbox says to me he doesn't know enough to teach anyone a lesson. But that's just me.
Good work guys. Looks like a after-cooler had blown. With that amount of water in it. A cooler blew out for sure. I would inspect the block and heads then have the block cut and sleeved and mill the heads and add thicker head gaskets. And add new CP Carrillo pistons and rods. Bigger turbos and injectors well balanced crank and new aftercoolers. Gut the interior and one race seat and harness. Because Race Car.

That was a great video! Hope you keep the same engine but get it built, rods, pistons, better cooling! And pull a Dave, luxury inside and race outside! Make it a reliable 1000hp

Mercedes-Benz dealers, you can purchase not only a standard Mercedes-Benz engines but also a range of cheaper parent engine alternatives such as the basic engine, long block, long block plus or short block (basic engine).
I’m pretty sure that even if this car was free it’s not even worth the time that’s getting put into it, would probably be better off parting it out and using that money plus repair costs to just get another banged up gt to build up, the videos are good nonetheless so keep it up laaads :) ❤️
A 300D Mercedes engine would be the perfect replacement 😂. Jokes aside, it is going to be an interesting project. The amount of water that went out of the engine is staggering 😂. Put an LS into the AMG, would still be a V8, they're not very expensive, they can make heaps of power and would sound a lot better than the original V8.
Hay mike!!! Matt Armstrong just bought a rolls Royce parts car he won’t need the engine and transmission I’m pretty sure it’s the same twin turbo v8 hit him up if you want a running motor for now and build this one
