Kids, there's nothing more cool that being hugged by someone you like, but if someone tries to touch you in a way or in a place that make you feel uncomfortable: THAT'S NO GOOD!
"What were you doing with that red-haired merchant lady?" "She was selling a Second Seal at half price, I wasn't going to skip that deal" "If you talk to her again, I'll sell your life at half price..."
"What were you doing talking to Little Ms. Perfect Pegasus Knight the other day?" "I'm allowed to be friends with other women, including Cordelia. You don't own my social life!" "Oh, with the enchantment I have on you, I own more than just your _social_ life..."
Jacob Heward Any link to where/when Nintendo confirmed this? Because that would somewhat contradict with Anna's A rank dialogue: ''In this world there aren't any saga's about heroes. There are only legends created by this world about the dragon gods. *Everything about the legends of the people are things that will happen in the future from now.*'' I've mentioned this on another video already, but Fates being Fire Emblem's equivalent of Skyward Sword is a pretty interesting theory. Plus, who's to say the Awakening kids didn't went back in time when travelling to the world of Fates? After all, the Future Past is referred to as a different 'world' as well, so I don't see how the world of Fates would be any different.
+Luis D. González It actually makes sense, if you think about it. Her "interest" in the Avatar isn't so much in them as a person, but rather because she senses the immense power of Grima from them. She shows a lot of interest in them, but it's not really romantic, as she's perfectly fine with marrying other people. However, this support (though it doesn't really show it properly imo) is about her learning to care for them because of who they are, rather than just being fascinated with the power of Grima that they posses.
***** I have to disagree with you there, but I guess it depends on which pairing we're talking about. In most of them, I agree it seems like she's just marrying them for convenience (Vaike, Virion, Ricken, Kellam, or Frederick), but in a few she does seem like she genuinely grows to love them (Gaius or Henry). The thing is, I don't think she initially really cares about Robin as a person, she's just fascinated with their power. As her line: "I can't believe you made me love you" makes abundantly clear, her love for him isn't something she originally felt, otherwise she wouldn't be surprised by it.
If the woman I proposed to said she'd murder me in my sleep if I backed out, I'd counter that by saying "I wouldn't have even bothered to buy the ring if I wasn't serious about getting married."
(If I was Robin) *I wake up* Robin: Umm Tharja what did you do to me while I was unconscious. Tharja: Well I may have done something to you after I took off your pants. Robin: Wanna do it to me while Im awake?
3. Put a curse on his pants 4. Watch him bathing 5. Hex those who come near him, friend or foe alike 6. Pies 7. More pies 8. Draw him (using one of the Chrom Wants You poster as a reference) 9. Do some funny stuff in the bed 10. Make babies with him
***** I dunno... something about how Robin just "conveniently" falls asleep right in front of her - after asking her to stay a while - seemed a bit like an invitation to me.
I say Morgan is the biggest proof of it being canon due to her behavior and her canon default hair being black (which narrows it down to two female character able to pass that down)
i love how people think this pairing is terribly creepy this is actually pretty sweet, to me. they learned to live with each other look at Robin. he had to adapt to her following him everywhere look at Tharja. she had to become less weird lol
Also find there support in heroes even better as it shows robins does care for her and tharja is indeed a caring a loving person who doesn’t like to show it, it sweet
Tharja's VA was also Yui from K-On!, Eureka from Eureka Seven, Hazumu from Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl, Orihime from Bleach, Kriem from Tiger and Bunny, Hinata from Naruto, and Zeena from Sonic Lost World. And also Usagi (Sailor Moon) in Viz Media's redub of Sailor Moon.
Tharja actually has something in common with Cordelia. They both had their hearts set on a particular man. Tharja however got her man. Cordelia did not. Plus Cordelia mirrored Catria in that regard. She and Catria were both "in love with a man they can't have."
In my save file: Robin: Tharja, you have a husband (Gaius) and a daughter, What is wrong with you?! Tharja: hehehe... don't worry about that, by the way I watch you in your sleep... Robin: AND YOU DIDN'T NOTICE SOMEONE ELSE WAS THERE?? Tharja: oh please it doesn't matter who it was I'll keep my eyes on you. By the way who was sleeping with you hmmm??? not that it matters Robin: ummm...your daughter Tharja: WHAT?! Noire:...uhh hi mother Morgan: Oh hello grandma, how are you? Tharja: Destroys everything*
Well Tharja. You should be happy. you and Robin will finally be together and can talk like the Best friends that you guys are. Since he married your daughter. that means you are now his best.....friend XDD
C: Yeah, you might want to sleep with one eye open, Robin. B: Does anybody find "normal" Tharja to be more creepy than regular Tharja? A: Did... Did she just rape Robin in his sleep...? 0_0 S: *hears confession* Love you too, Tharja...
Her character introduction on the official Fire Emblem website stated that she "has the nicest body in the army." In Summer Scramble, the merchant says "My gosh Tharja- most women would kill for that body" after seeing her in the swimsuit she picked out.
I did such on my first two runs of the game. It's hard in the real world to find a faithful significant other. If I had a "hot as hell" woman like Tharja stalking me, I'd welcome her with open arms.
+Vampirerockstar It's like that episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where some guy is always holding a picture of a girl he dreamed about. Not like in his wallet, a framed picture that's like half his size.
Still doesn't beat the line from the hot spring DLC. "Public bathing? In the nude?! Has this town gone mad? What if they have? That's it! The water must be hexed to release inhabitions! I know just who to try it on...
Has anyone thought about how interesting this gets if you think about the Avatar's purpose in the story? Tharja sees them and knows, seeks his approval, generally knows more than the avatar knows of themself? What if she was well aware of the truth? Now that, is an interesting thought.
Oh she could probably tell something was up with Robin and that probably caused some of the initial attraction but I don’t think Tharja particularly cares if Robin is the vessel of Grima or not. What Tharja cares about is that Robin is Robin. She loves Robin the person, flaws and all. And she absolutely adores how he can completely turn a situation on its head with just one move as there beach conversations I feel demonstrate. Only on screen kiss in whole game, and you just know our tactician had a steamy make out session with Tharja later.
@@8BitHeroMusic Well she's literally a Yandere for Robin. She'll do anything. *Anything.* To get his attention and have him notice her. I know most of the time she stalks Robin but that's because she wants to keep him safe and close.....even if she is being obsessive over him. The only thing that gets me about this pairing is the Father daughter support between Robin and Noire. I know it's generic but Tharja cursing Robin? It don't seem right. I mean, maybe it kinda seems ok since it's not lethal curses but still.
Found out Tharja's "Enter Battle" conversation in "The Golden Gaffe" has her mention keeping a lock of Robin's hair that she says is priceless. Makes you wonder what she uses it for.
*Character List I'll be talking about (I know I'm late to explain these things, this game's rarely reviewed nowtimes):* (1.) Tharja-She's a creepy stalker that stalks the Avatar, sleeping, eating, activities, and hex people for subjects, inflicting cruelty, when Robin marries, she's yet keeping herself onto stalking him. (2.) Cordelia-A pegasus knight who fell helplessly at Chrom, yet no cruel things were to be done about, neither does she stalks Chrom out, when Chrom married, she moved on. *What did I notice:* (1.) Tharja can marry Robin/MU (2.) Cordelia _CAN'T_ marry Chrom. *"Developers are so cruel."*
Besides the obvious that she's hot, here's the reason why people should pair the Avatar with Tharja: Whether either one is married or not, she's most likely going to stalk him the rest of his life, a good chance she's going to curse anyone who gets close to the avatar, and we all know she will go through Hell with a twisted smile on her face to get together with him no matter what the cost. Curse or no curse, she is probably going to get her way, so save time and countless lives and just pair them.
Got a point there. Tharja is obsessed with the Avatar. Pairing them up is a wise idea. Plus Morgan's class is dependent on the Avatar's "significant other." Morgan would have the class "Dark Mage" if the starting class of the Avatar's spouse is "Dark Mage"
Matt Clarke Excuse me? I didnd´t like this game that much, I liked Radiant Dawn and I just said it was kind of sweet in a WEIRD way. This is the internet, everyone has their own oppinions,
If they ever add more Echoe fighters in Smash Ultimate, they should make Tharja an echoe fighter of Robin...or you know give her her own move set. That works too
Wyatt McCord At this point in the game, I'm sure that's what would happen (hopefully). I could still legitimately see her as an assist, but that's probably just me.
CrimsonEbonyTears You're not thinking straight. This is Tharja we're talking about. She wouldn't come out of the shadows and be an assist trophy, she'd be hiding in the background/stage whenever the Main Character of this game is chosen as a fighter.
i dont see any motive to not marry tharja........ she has the hottest body, she knows how to cook, is clearly smart, can take care of you, and has a thing for you. there is no reason why you shouldnt marry her
She also strangely a nice person actually... when you pair with her to other units, she actually have human feelings and there for others. which, is the only I like about her.
Dan Tullos WHat Child abuse she loves her child sure she puts hexs on her but its never meant to really harm her and besides she does it to everybody so no harm really
Dan Tullos But she does her hexs against everyones will not just Noire's and i believe she looks at everyone as test subjects I mean look at all of her support convos she always is trying to or is putting a hex on someone.
Dan Tullos Eh, she loves her daughter she's just not fit to be a mom yet (based on runny nose curses). At least Noire's ending implies Tharja becomes a better mom compared to bad future Tharja so there's that at least.
I would've liked their S support more if Robin instead of suddenly having feelings for Tharja they would instead reflect on the times they spent both in combat and in their other supports. Then Robin proposing would make much more sense
to be fair, it is kind of a callback to their initial D support, and how much more robin is comfortable around/trusting of Tharja compared to their initial meeting.
No matter how hard I look at it, I still feel like this pairing is one of the best ones out there in this game even though it may sound creepy at first but when I viewed the ending I thought it was extremely good just like Olivias ending when you had beaten the game. These two still do amazing things even if you do Lunatic+ and to this day Im still using this combo.
its adorable i get that shes a stalker but man shes actually TRYING to get the guy withoit you know....killing him in his sleep and wearing him like a skinsuit... ...yeah.
8:55 Now Robin, with this anatomically correct doll, could you please show the courtroom where the dark mage touched you. *sniffles and points* *courtroom gasps* Good god man! My word! The horror! *sob* No more questions your honor, we got what we needed.
Indeed I think this was one of the best male avatar conversations out there. It just kind of reminds me of Naruto and Hinata only its only creepier yet kind of awsome at the same time and As for the Bride class, I do agree that Lissa will need it but I thought Olivia would be perfect for this class too.
Those support conversations are indeed great. I may had seen all the support conversations that have been shown here on youtube but Im at my fifth playthrough so there is no need for me to checkout all the other supports in game. I also cant wait to see all the other DLC's that Nintendo has to offer us as well and im really looking foward to see the Destiny of Bonds DLC pack that should be released at a later date if they decide to. So far my favorite DLC is the EXPontential Growth.
Due to the suggestive moment in the A Support conversations, you'd expect 90% of the gutter jokes made throughout the male Avatar's support conversations with his possible marriage candidates to be here. Instead, they're seen everywhere else.
For anyone who's wondering why Tharja is the most fanservice like character when Olivia, Nowi, and Aversa dress just as revealing, Tharja has the perfect figure. In Summer Scramble, any units who have the "Sorceror" class will be wearing a swimsuit instead of their typical outfit for that class. Tharja is one of four who has a special scene in said DLC where the merchant gives a "free commemorative swimsuit." However, the merchant didn't bother to check Tharja's size, so it ended up being a size too small. The merchant pointed out that most women would kill for the body that Tharja has. As for the other 3 female characters who dress in revealing outfits, Nowi's got the appearance of a 10 year old, Aversa is older than Tharja by about 10 years or more, and I don't think Olivia's rack could measure up to Tharja's.
Mindy Hlavinka I did as well, but at first her affection for me did creep me out a lot. And then when I did the summer scramble, I really got interested to knowing her and I haven't regretted it since. P.S. I got lured in by her body as well and then her personality.
I just got S rank with my male unit and Tharja but pressed A when that last cutscene started so I didn't see it. Thank god you uploaded this. It's not the most important scene but pretty funny so I'm glad I searched for it.
Oh. Because i was trying to figure out how long you were waiting after each line to move on, and I realized I could read each line three times (if I read fast)
I wouldn't have a problem with this ship if it just made sense. I've never understood this. When Tharja's recruited it's done by Chrom, not by Robin. He's the one who accepts her despite being enemies on the battlefield at the time, not your player character. She never even saw the avatar until after she had joined thanks to Chrom's offer, so why is she not head-over-heels for him? Why Robin?
Technically, Robin is responsible for saving her, its up to them whether Chrom even recruits her or not. Also, her C support with Vaike gives a bit of explanation for her infatuation as well.
(spoiler alert) it's reincarnation romance. in fire emblem fates rhajat falls in love with corrin after she saves her, and they are implied to reincarnate into tharja and robin. the "dark aura" hypothesis is pure fanon with no basis in the games at all, just word of Dante people have been spreading.
