long term planning pays off STIBBLES CODEX OF COMPANIONS: www.kickstarter.com/projects/... PATREON: / xptolevel3 TWITTER: / xptolevel3 DISCORD: / discord
@@GoblinUrNuts The alignment chart has always been argued, hence why I cite published sources where two Demon Lords, Pazuzu and Grazt, (undeniably chaotic evil) utilize con games to maximize their destruction. You may disagree and play your game that way, but there's no defining code for alignment that doesn't have contradictions and exceptions, so jumping on other people for disagreeing and playing it a bit different has no support when the published lore contradicts your definition. Learn the lore or dial your freakout back and step off.
@@GoblinUrNuts Yeah, but chaotic evil gives off that flair that a lawful evil can't have. I feel like a chaotic evil person would be more creative with the destruction of the world. They would be more grandiose and flashy.
Not many XP here. If the animals are puppy its a CR0 creature meaning 0 to 10xp each depending on the DM. An children is below a commoner which is CR0. So not even the single drop of XP here. Just pure evil Even if 10 xp is allowed killing hundred of children is 1000 xp maximum, barely passing lv1 to lv3
Everytime the Wizard looks at the camera, I feel him looking into my soul. I feel him judging me, analyzing me, deciding whether I live or die. I feel his breathe on the back of my neck at night and his eyes on me in the shower. Wizard is my world. Wizard is my universe. Wizard is everything.
"the house propels into the sky, the fireball smashes into the crater and landing back down is the house, as it slowly rises up, you see it is held up by two chicken legs. You hear a sinister cackling, as a decrepit old woman floats down from the sky with a giant fireball floating above her. Baba Yaga casts fireball at level 9"
Lets not joke about Baba Yaga. In a 3.5 ed campaign my group came across a magical house, decided to use it as transport vehicle. Many locked/trapped inter-dimensional rooms, everything was fine, until the rogue decided to open one of the inner doors that apparently led to a gigantic library. Turns out Baba Yaga was doing research into turning into a demi lich, and we stole her house... 6-7 people in the group, all 3.0 and 3.5 D&D books open and everyone lvl 17-18(if you dont understand, this is a really good way to have vastly overpowered characters), nearly all of us died, at least 2 of us did, and a few cohorts. More like Baba Yaga casts Violated(turns half dmg into vile, this cannot be healed unless by magical healing in a consecrated area), Empowered, Maximized Fireball, and has a item that allows her to twin this.
Wizard: I wish to build an orphanage filled with puppies. GM: Oh, That's nice! Wizard *Under Breath*: So I can teach them all fireball and rule the world... GM: What?!?!?! Wizard: What?
I’m waiting for part 3 where he goes 10 minutes without using the spell and then as soon as the bartender asks the wizard what he’s gonna drink he just shouts “fireball” as loud as possible
If you allow UA there's actually a metamagic for doing that with different elements. I enjoy changing things to acid damage to create horrible corrosive pools
Long term planning? My brother has something he calls "the master plan," in "Space D&D." Only he and the GM know what it is, but he's been planning it since day one, and has been building on it over a year and a half. It's apparently going to be "really spicy." All I know is that it definitely involves bioships. The rest of us are getting a little scared now. Edit: fixed typoes
@@seanruebush1273 it will probably still be a while before it's unveiled. It might even be for the final stretch. I will probably not remember this by then. I probably won't remember this tomorrow.
I sure love the smell of napa-- I mean, FIREBALL in the morning. This is truly the ultimate Chaos Jacob sequel, because goddamn is the Wizard getting a good use out of his beard.
oh thank fuck i'm not the only one who recognized that (/gen) i ctrl-F'd for "nut" to see if i had identified the sound correctly and had to scroll a bit before it came up with anything.
When they said the wizard was actually good my first thought was he was going to use the new orphanage as a front for all his child workers and child slave ring.
"You look out, on this city... over several orphanages... safe... five pet rescue shelters... safe... For some reason, a stockpile of *natural gas*... safe" ROFL
I half expected Runesmith to show up midway through the Wizard casting fireball as the dispel/counterspell wizard. "No. You don't." Then its the rest of an 8hr session of those two staring down like a Kill Bill scene
I hope that in part three they bait and switch with like, him being out of spells lots and telling him that as he starts saying "I cast fireb-" but he's actually casting firebolt, still igniting something on fire
I want this series to end with the group confronting the BBEG and Wizard to go "I cast Fireball" and the GM to answer "You're out of spell slots though, you only have cantrips"
Ok, I actually laughed out loud (like, for real, not just figuratively) when Jacob asks if the house needs to make a dex save. That shit was funny as hell, as much as I hate to admit it.
This pokes fun both at DnD protagonist's creepy obsession with orphanages and at the absurdity of actually building one over some ruin right next to a misty forest and not close to a town... well, unless the plan is to use it as a front for a sweatshop, an assassin school, brothel, magical experiments on souls of the children or something else that's actually useful.
Legit the definition of Chaotic Good... “I broke your legs so that the Cleric can heal them and make them better than before”. Nevermind he nuked a city, that’s NE.
Spent literally ten minutes replaying the first 10 secs and laughing my ass off watching Jacob slam against the door like an OG "was I summoned?" creep Butler or some shit lol 😂🤣
I've watched this video literally seven times in a row and am getting enjoyment out of it each time I watch it with something new this time, I thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed the DM's delivery of seven orphanages..... Safe puppies......safe For some reason a stockpile of natural gas.....safe.....I loved the build up to what's coming
