You can change gears whilst moving, need to allow it on the app. For the weekend unplanned adventure ride with no destination in mind...longboard. For 75% of my riding which is coffee runs, or commuting every day to work its short board.

i love longboards, I am a longboarder. I have a meepo v3 , and i like the extra stability of a longer board. I'm not ducking and dodging traffic , so I really don't need a shortboard. They are indeed fun though !

Since getting my meepo mini 2, i gotta say im really digging the short boards, it feels like it has more power then my meepo v2 long board, but my meepo v2 definitely is a smoother ride, atm gotta go with the short board, the meepo mini 2 is a beast

It’s all about the short board life for me. Had both a Boosted Stealth and Mini - ended up selling the Stealth. The mini was only slightly less comfortable to ride, but more than made up for it with its kicktail. Can kick it over bumps and obstacles with ease, tic tac around in super tight spaces, and flip it up to carry at any time. I tried the Wave and love it! Even more lighter and nimble than the Boosted Mini :)

K C-O in many ways it’s better - lighter, detachable battery with USB out, built-in lights etc. But I still haven’t come across anything approaching the buttery smooth responsiveness of Boosted’s remote/ESC combo. Exway’s latest Hobbywing ESC comes very close, and if I’d never ridden a Boosted Board before the I’d honestly never know what I was missing. It’s more than good enough.

I like the old feel of the shortboards as my background is skateboarding.. Love it that you can use the tail to be a lot more maneuverable/ turn on a dime/ manuals etc. But at speed the longboards give a lot more confidence ! How are your thoughts on the Backfire Mini ?? It's faster .. but no changeable battery / lights etc .. Im in the market for a short board

I like both longboard and shortboard pretty much equally. Shortboard for quick errands. Longboard (with AT wheels) for commuting/group rides.

prefer longboard with some flex, shortboard would be nice for travel though. I also like the longer format videos, this didnt feel rushed but def felt faster then most and not quite a full reviews like some of the others. I think the added care and time goes a long way or i should say is what i am used to. Good stuff none-the-less and always happy to see an upload

Id like to point out, that clear plastic piece on the back amplifies the brake lights at night so cars can see. An idea from boosted boards. Nice video dude, i just got mine too!

Hey Ronnie, I just got the new exway flex for Christmas and was trying it out for the first few times this week. My only problem so far is not being able to reach top speed. The speed I am normally hitting is around 17mph and I weigh sub 150lbs so I know that can’t be the issue. I have changed all the setting I could think of and nothing has worked to get that # up. Things I have changed: acc curve, turbo not turbo, turned off safe mode and none have seemed to work. Any suggestions thxs.

Ronnie, please start using some wrist guards, I recently fall of my exway flex riot and very ugly crush my wrist (multiple broken bones). Now I have some metal in here and bunch of screws. Please be safe. I meant it for all of you guys, please get some wrist guards, my injury was really painfull...

Armoured motocross gloves are much better, protection for fingers and don't interfere with holding a remote. £15-20

Gloves will NOT protect your wrist joint, and that's kinda my point... I don't recommend using any gloves to safe your wrist against break.

Expect to get bottom portion of motor guards shredded with smaller wheels. I'd go with 90mm+ wheels at least. But Wave is best looking short board Exway has ever made. Unfortunately, I cannot get them yet as this months been bad for me but hoping to get it later on. And by the way... Ronnie is actually a ghost. *invisible fingers*

MOST short boards do cuz there not meant for range.. only the meepo and this have good range. no one wants to travel over 11 miles on a short board. its not meant for that. i prefer top notch QUALITY and acceleration and fantastic customer service, then 6-8 more miles. i got 11 on my stoke, and thats PLENTY for me.. u put more range on em, and ur gonna sacrifice something else like size and or make the price go up. not worth it..

I've bought the wave to and some cloud wheels the cloud wheels delivered today and I only bought it 4 days ago and the wave is not jet delivered so for now I have only the wheels 😂 I hope the bord comes soon. edit: its almost 3 weeks after I bought the wave and its still not delivered edit 2: its 4 weeks after I bought it and stil not delivered.
