Journey is a great American rock band formed in 1973 by former members of Santana, Steve Miller Band & Frumious Bandersnatch. Journey had their biggest commercial success between 78-87, when Steve Perry was lead vocalist. They had so many hits including "Open Arms", "Who's Crying Now", "Still They Ride", "Wheel In The Sky", "Send Her My Love", "After The Fall", "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'", "Any Way You Want It" etc.

Steve Perry is known as "The Voice." He is literally a PHENOM. The more songs you hear, you will understand why. He is untouchable! Neal's guitar and Steve's voice formed an amazing chemistry. Add Jon Cain (keyboards) and you had lighting in a bottle. P.S. Jon Cain wrote this song for his first wife, Tane. They divorced a few years later.

One of the most beautiful songs ever written and performed by a group and a vocalist I will never get enough of. There is a reason why Prince asked Journey's permission befor releasing Purple Rain....listen to the tone, the guitar...especially the solo.... To think where we would have been had Journey not penned Faithfully and then later not graciously told him to "Go for it".

Shonrah, thank you for reacting to this video. This took me straight back to the 70s where I was in high school. This song in particular takes me straight to senior skip day when 50+ of us seniors partied out in the sticks so far out the only law enforcement you might come across was maybe conservation officers and they only wanted to make sure you left the area as clean as when we arrived. The music was jamming and this group was a favorite back then . Now 62 years old, a lifetime of experiences that ended up completely different than the dreams we had as we graduated that year, I still find myself looking back and enjoying those moments which really molded who I was and who I became. Your reaction sent me straight back there. I have no regrets and actually feel privileged that I was able to experience this memory that still clings to me to this day. Again, thank you for this memory.

I recommend "Who's Crying Now", "Open Arms", "Don't stop Believing" and for a vocal masterpiece, listen to "Mother, Father" all from this tour. Then just pick any song of their live performances. The classic era for them is 1978 - 1987 . They still tour today, but with a different lead singer, he is good, but he is not "The Voice".
