for the thing at 10:00 they sprayed water at him because a normal fire hose would easily knock someone down if not kill them. those things spray at hundreds of PSI and not something you would want sprayed at you that close..

A detail I love once someone pointed it out to me is that throughout the movie you can usually see Michael’s eyes behind the mask. After he gets up to slaughter the mob that tried to kill him, you never see his eyes again. Further reinforcing Laurie’s assertions that Michael is raw evil and not a human man.

20:54 I think that's a reference to Halloween 2 when Loomos tried to shoot Michael and was out of bullets so he stabbed him. Nice to know they at least acknowledge Halloween 2 nd the scenes with the witch, skull, and pumpkin mask are referencing Halloween 3.

@@Selloca Actually, you're BOTH wrong :) The current canon is the other movies HAPPENED in the context of them being urban legends "some people" (Big and Little John every Halloween) made up to spook the town. So although they never ACTUALLY happened, the stories are still in existence, though treated as in-universe fiction.

I felt the same way about it feeling like a filler too. However, I think it would always suffer from that since it's supposed to be a lead in to the finale movie Halloween Ends. I still enjoyed it though except for the hospital mob scenes. The greatest thing that came out of this movie though is THAT MASK. That last scene of him staring out the window with the blood on it is my absolute favorite! Great reaction as always. Your vids are just good fun.

Dude yes! Thank you so much for reacting to this! Man you are coming out with alot of great videos! Loved your "Midnight Mass" reactions. It may not be the best Halloween movie to date. (Halloween 1978 and 2018 being better films story wise) but I just can't get over how truly brutal Michael Myers is in Halloween Kills. I will say Tommy Doyle may have originally mistakened the shorter, pudgy escapee for Michael because he hadn't seen him in 40 years. Project X is an awesome movie BTW.

34:33 fun fact, if you go back a little and listen VERY closely you can hear Michael Myers voice actor very quietly say "give it back" its almost inaudible but if you listen close enough with the right volume and speaker, maybe slowing down the timing and speed of the video you can hear him say it. The only time he spoke. Very eerie and creepy. So cool they put it in the film.

This is actually a good movie for the new timeline. I like the idea that they say he transcends with each kill to make him seem more powerful, stronger, and more aggressive. This movie is almost up there with the brutally of Michael Myers kills him in Rob Zombie's movies.

Fun fact: the name Michael is actually the name of one of God's most powerful Archngels. I'm not getting religious or something, it's just where the name comes from. Which makes it all the more ironic that THIS Michael is so damn evil

I think you’re the 1st reactor ever that I’ve seen watch THIS timeline of Halloween first. The Halloween(78)/Halloween(18)/Halloween Kills/Halloween Ends. That’s pretty interesting just knowing how the previous movies end up. I wonder how you’re gonna take the original part 2 from 1981 and the other timelines.

Over a year late so nobody will probably see this especially not Pug. But Paul Rudd originally played Tommy Doyle in Halloween 6, and was actually asked to reprise the role in this film and only turned it down for Ghostbusters Afterlife. Also the original actors for Marion Chambers, Sheriff Bracket & Lindsey returned from the original film to reprise their roles. Bracket was I believe 92 when he agreed for this film

Good reaction. This is my favourite sequel, and it actually increased my liking of the 2018 film when i watched them as a double feature. Previously i'd been a bit critical of the 2018 movie. I was really surprised that i love Halloween Kills more than Halloween 2 and 4, i didn't think that would ever happen. You asked for a weird fact, as an Aussie you'll know the 80's soap, Prisoner, i've been obsessed with it since my early teens in the mid 90's and often quote dialogue from it in everyday conversations, often doing an impression of the actress or actor.

By the way. Isn't it a coincidence that the actress who plays Karen is named Judy greer in real life? Counting the remake, this makes it the third time someone named Judith got stabbed to death in the upstairs corner bedroom of the Myers house, and the only time the person really WAS named Judith. Freaky.

5:06 In the very first movie, when we’re introduced to Laurie’s character, we found out her dad is a real estate agent. And he asks her to drop the keys off at the Myers place so he can sell it. So, they did try selling it. But it also has a reputation for being haunted so I’m sure no one wanted it

He doesn't, but interestingly enough, literally every time he's gotten his hands on that jumpsuit, somehow, he always gets it from some form of motor specialist, either a mechanic or a trucker, never a janitor or boiler room worker. Odd.

The flashback scene to 1978 was the best part of this movie. It makes me realize that when they inevitably reboot this again in 5-10 years, I'd personally love to see it pick up the same on the same night. Obviously, the issue will be it would have to be without Lauri since Jamie Lee Curtis would be aged. But something similar to Halloween II but done better and more modern. It would have to be a world where Laurie isn't the focus due to the logistics. But I still think it would be fun to re-visit that time period again, and not have 20 or 40 year jumps.

I saw this in theaters the day after it came out. I was so hyped. Personally I can see why some people don't like it. The diolauge is pretty bad in some scenes among other problems but I came in knowing that it was basically just a movie about Michael having a Gory rampage through Haddonfield. But I still fucking loved it and had a shit ton of fun. Can't wait for Halloween Ends!

super late but in case you didn't know this set of halloween the 2018 halloween kills and halloween ends was a different take on the series so the original it always show Michael going after laurie but in this mini series Michael never cared about laurie all he wanted to do was kill and go home he never tried going after his family like the cop said he only found laurie and his family cuz the doctor took him to them. so this just shows Michael as a evil killing machine

I wonder what happened after he stopped Loomis from shooting Michael cause other cops there wanted it to happen to they'd get Hawkins from him and say hi ahead so Loomis I guess changed his mind though he probably regretted not just ending him there. In script it was just Hawkins and Loomis and he talked him down I don't remember alk the cops being there ok with it. Plus in script they ripped off his mask exposing his face which I'm ok they limited but also liked to see that too lol
