Have you ever wondered what a Flat head strike look like from above water? Wonder no more! In this very emotional episode I learn how to find Flat head with the Drone
Anytime mate. You know I was thinking just yesterday how we are like buildings that get torn down to our foundations so we can be rebuilt as stronger, better houses. I find that when that happens, going to a peaceful place regularly helps. Also patience is really important, because when you are patient it actually unlocks the brain (I have only learnt that last week). Don't worry about how you will get to your destination, all you need to know is that you will get there no matter what, and I am a perfect example of that. You'll be fine mate 👍
Thanks for subscribing 👍 Sure thing mate, this video was almost a year ago now and I have learnt ALOT about Flathead since. So I'll try make this quick, I'm using 8lb braid with 12-15 lbs Fluro Leader, you need to go lite, but not too lite, The rod needs to be quite a stiff tip, I actually use Barra rods for big Flathead purely because of how good they are at throwing hooks, I like to use fine gauge hooks as they are easier to set. With lures, basically anything big and slow sinking, it's the slow sink that gets them, a 7 inch lure would be what I would consider an average size for the big Flatties. There are days where they just aren't interested either so you can't be too tough on yourself 👍
