This is a test of your flexibility with a break down of how to work towards and into your Standing Bird of Paradise. This challenging flexy shape will test both your balance and your flexibility. Make sure you are nice and warm and well stretched out before trying out these flexy shapes. The bird of paradise, whether on the ground or in the air on an aerial apparatus, requires significant active flexibility of the hamstrings, adductors as well as shoulders and upper back mobility. Thanks Elizabeth, birds of paradise is one of those moves I'd love to be able to do some time in the future, like my end goal of pole practice. I'm not very flexible so I am trying to understand how to work towards it, but I couldn't really figure out where to start. You video is so perfect, cause now I have an idea of what to practice and how to assess where I am at. Thanks again
