Music is the one of the most important part of the cultures. In Eurovision, i wanna see more song like this which shows beautiful reflections from its country's culture. I hope some day this kind of song will win, not a stage show.

Spain and France sing in English more often than I would like. Portugal and Italy (apart from 2011) are still the only countries who always sing in their native language. Serbia also sings in Serbian nearly every time as well. I wish they'd bring back the language rule as I love hearing the beauty of different languages on the Eurovision stage.
I come here every year to listen this beautiful masterpiece and every deam time it makes me cry. Definitely one of the most beautiful song in Eurovision history. 🌼❤️

I have been in Spain and Portugal (Lisbon, Fatima, and a few other places) in summer 2017 :) nice memories. later, when i was watching ESC 2018, i could recognize some places they showed, that i had been before, Lisbon for example :) it was so exciting :) I'm sure, one day i will visit Spain and Portugal again one day :) ps. i also visited Spain and France (and Andorra and Monaco) in summer 2016, one year earlier. nice trip also

It reminds me of good times back there... this live performance was on the playlist among other songs of the contest for a couple of years. ESC in Moscow was of the most energetic and full of platinum hits. Will never forget.
Eurovision is not about the best songs, it is about votes, nationalities, money.... otherwise this song would have won. It is fun and beautiful. The true winner.

+Rodrigo ESC well, you can check Spanish results with that technique. We got a very bad position this year with an English one. I think, at the end of the day, it is about the song, the lyrics (even if you don't understand them, you can always find translations through the Internet), the music, the singer, the staging, and not about the language the song is sung. Pastora Soler got a 10th place with an entry sung entirely in Spanish. But, yes, I understand you, when your country ends so underrated every year, you start looking for reasons about it. In my opinion, Portugal should have been in every final almost every year.

Oh! This is cute! I like the girl, the sound and the instrumentation. The screen is also so lovely colorful. I prefer Vânia Fernandes from 2008, but this is also nice! A sweet little song to enjoy 😉😘😊

10 years ago I didn't enjoyed a lot this song. I can't stop listen to it nonetheless. It's a song where it was possible to gather the influences of African and Brazilian sounds with the Portuguese folk. This is likely one of the best folk songs ever went to the Eurovision!
This is one of Portugal's best entries ever. Sadly the singer was so nervous that she could not deliver a great performance. You can notice how nervous she was in her breathing during the second part of the song. Portugal received good scores from the national juries, including 12 points from Czech Republic, 10 from Belgium, 7 from Spain and Switzerland and 6 from Bosnia Herzegovina, Estonia and Slovakia. A better vocal performance would have given Portugal a place in the top ten.
