Florida really struggled in 2008 with great interior DT’s. In 2008 Florida’s 4 worst offensive performances were against Tennessee, Miami, Alabama, and Oklahoma. Tennessee had 1st round pick Dan Williams, Miami had pro bowl Calaeis Campbell, Bama had all-American Terrance Cody, and Oklahoma had pro bowl Gerald McCoy.
My goodness.. I'll never forget how stacked this team was on both sides of the ball. Also, Jeff Demos was faster than fast. He had track speed obviously, dudes a track and field Olympic athlete, but he had that extra gear on the field
Yeah I think the 2008 gators is probably the fastest collage team I've seen so far in my lifetime had percy harvin jeff demps and Chris rainey lots of speed. Percy was the best one outta demps and Rainey though. Harvin elusiveness an agility acceleration was on another level.
@@TheOpinionSports I dont know if they were better then 01 Miami. Im just mainly talking about the speed they had on the team. I dont think the 01 Miami had a faster player then Jeff demps. But as i said im just talking about the speed that 08 team had. Doesn't mean they would beat 01 Miami however.

I was in college from 2006-2009..A SEC team won the national championship every year..I personally hated 06 and 08, but I enjoyed 07 and 09..Tim Tebow should've won Heisman in 2008 instead of 2007..Darren McFadden from ARK deserved the 07 Heisman..Anyway, 2008 Florida had a good strength of schedule and dominated UMiami, Cincinnati, Georgia, LSU, UK, South Carolina, and Florida State ⁉📚🏈🟪🏟🌇💺
I got them number one and that's with their loss to ole miss. The speed they had was just crazy and defense was just scary. Joe Haden, Branson spikes and major Wright literally made offensive players go nighty night sweet dreams
