I agree. This gun is awesome. Way underrated.

Replace the sights as I did to tritium, the tru glow day/night work well and you can rack the slide. Some of the points you have stated are not a huge deal. Lanyard the bore end and holstering. I am a huge FN FNX fan so do not get me wrong. I dislike Glocks and XD's for the most part. But it comes down to personal preference. I feel the FNH FNX just kinda covers it all and is more than battle accurate. Both the XD and Glocks have much more accessories available. Holsters are also more available to the XD and Glock . But FNH FNX holsters are starting to become more prevalent nowadays. The FNX .45 tactical with certain lights and holographic sights or red dots are just now really starting to become available. They are slower coming to market than for other makes. And they are mainly kydex. Leather is kinda rough to find. Galco and FNH came out with leather paddle holsters which are now unavailable. The only other real option is a thigh holster that is adjustable. Great review and upload. Thank you. And you have gained a new subscriber.

Sweet gun, I especially like that I was able to add an FNX40 slide... only thing to work around is the frame needs to be modified to accept the FNS9 mags which are the same size as FNX40 mags... So I have the dual option now! Heat the shell of an fns9 mag with a torch and slide it in... after that the fnx9 mags do not fit (too loose) but fns9 ans fnx40 do and you have a dual purpose frame.

How in the world is your trigger that light? Did you put 2k rounds through it and polish the trigger? Lol that’s nuts…. But anyways I just bought a FNX 9 and I am in love with it.

I was getting the same unbelievable results (from a different gun). I had an email thread with Lyman support and they told me to pull the trigger slowly. VERY, VERY SLOWLY, to get the real reading.

I had problems with my FNX-9. It had a defective double action trigger often failing to fall forward. See other RU-vid videos "double action trigger heat problem" and "will not fire in double action". I discovered the problem before firing a single box of ammo. I contacted FN customer service and they denied such a problem existed. They agreed to repair it but it required prepaid shipping and they made me also pay misc, postage-Ins- handling to get the gun back. It came back with a different trigger problem where the trigger clicks before breaking and before the hammer falls. also, another con, check your backstrap it is probably loose. I'm not an FN fan and have no confidence in their customer service. I would never purchase another FN.

I love this gun also but your trigger pool gauge is way off. I've noticed those electronica gauges always read lower than the triggers actually are. You would think they'd be more accurate but actually the spring gauges are more accurate. When you pull the trigger you can tell that double action is more than 6 pounds and it should be that's the point for safety.
