Another hidden gem is Paris FC. I did a save with them last year and its a fantastic little club living in the shadow of the towering neighbour PSG. But, its not a pub team. They have an old and quite worn but still decent sized arena and have come into abit of money lately with the ownership switching to the Bahrain state (more or less). And, they share the natural youth uptake area with PSG and therefor have a massive flood of youth rejects closeby, making the task of refining looked-over gems from the neighbouring giant a challenge of its own. I can strongly recommend PFC as an alternative to for example Marsielle or FCSM.

Great video as always man! Auxerre also a great challenge, the former champions are back in Ligue 1 after a 10 year absence! BTW crazy amount of European final losses for French clubs!

I did this save in FM19, and it was a big challenge then and is still a big challenge now, but SC Bastia were relegated from Ligue 1 to the 5th Tier in 2018 due to relegation and financial issues, and started thre 2019 in the 5th Tier. The club essentially disbanded, renamed itself and made it's B Team the Senior team and after back to back promotions is now in the CN. With a lot of debt, no transfer budget, no salary room, limited scouting, and average facilities all around, they are a challenge.

Great video mate - I always check the top 5 leagues for big clubs getting relegated. Call me weird but I have a thing for taking a side with a massive stadium from tier 2 to the top. Just because the potential for big crowds is there. Imagine Saint Ettiene getting promoted then challenging for top 4 they’d be pulling 40k fans.

My favourite league in FM, every year. Some great choices to consider. Galtier is such a great choice for PSG, so I won't rock that boat. I love Lyon and am very tempted. However, it might be Versailles. Merci beaucoup, Gaffer!

I thinking of almost editing in all my regens from Le Havre The Great Grandfathers FM22 team and move them into FM23 Le Havre team. Getting more love for the france leagues. Was curious about Marseielle, maybe Beta Save, if I should do a beta save?

@@FMLlama I think for a first foray into the league a St. Etienne journey would be good. Good sized club with a big stadium and something to prove, but also plenty of rebuild needed to keep things interesting. Not plug and play, but also not so far down as to get arduous.

3 season's in with metz ripped psg 5-1 in the 4 h2h(league wise)after getting killed the 3 matches before....cup final next thinking oh i got thier number, guess not got ripped a new one once again! No International football🥲
