Fantastic car, owned one for two years now with no issues except how to stay on the speed limit haha. Honda sensing is great but also it can be an issue on a slower drive through the town. If there is a car in front slowly turning and if you do not touch the brake car will suddenly break with full power which can be a big problem, can easily get rear ended. It happened to me and i got lucky that there was no one behind. Other features are fantastic especially brake hold, its so convenient.
It's weird driving one of these when used to non turbo vtec from years ago which had a red line of 8000 . Normally the vtec power band is just beginning as these redline 😢😢
This is my type of car, Spritely enough fairly understated, a nice sound and good fuel efficiency. I like the way you have to use a physical key to start the car, it gives a drivers car feel to me.
@@doolanbrian I was thinking, like many brand new cars have keyless starts, most brand new cars today aren’t driver focused in my opinion but they are world class in their abilities elsewhere. To me, little touches like having a standard key make it feel like that this is a proper workhorse 💪
Hi Brian, this is a very nice looking car. The black looks really impressive. I have a 17 1 litre civic and the gear shift is very smooth. You can't go wrong with a Honda.
I like the style of your videos. Looks like a nice drive & sounds good. It appears quite spacious in the back, but other reviewers say headroom is limited due to the roofline. Do you think it’s big enough for people around 6’ in the back?
Im 6 foot and it works for me ! Thanks for the nice comments. There is definitely better cars for headroom but if having 4/5 6 foot people is seldom in the car then i would definitely consider one ! 😀
I've recently been car shopping to replace our trusty Gen8 Civic that was written off, started looking at just getting another Gen8.. then crept up to Gen9.. then ended up buying a Gen10. Black, manual, Sport+ model. Similar looking to this one but with keyless, sunroof, adaptive damping. Watched a lot of videos about them before buying and yours stood out, thank you! You don't happen to know if the stlying differences (bumper garnish, rear difuser) from the facelift would fit my 2018 do you? :D
@@doolanbrian It's close to it, it's a Sport but has all the options ticked and was marketed at the Sport+ in England. So it has a glass roof, keyless, wireless charging, heated seats, LED lights - basically everything the Prestige has but not with leather seats (so no heated rear seats), no chrome (yay) and with the centre exit exhaust, side skirts and aero bits that the Sport has.
