Hi Chris, thanks for this timely video which prompted me to think about brake judder on my daily driver VW. Following up, I found on the UK NAPA/Autoparts website, a very useful technical guide on the subject of brake judder. It says that there can be a number of causes for this problem, which as well as disc (rotor) warpage and other causes, includes Disc Thickness Variation (DTV). It then goes on to describe how this can come about and gives recommendations for avoidance by correctly bedding in new discs/pads. This process is something I shall try to implement when I change the brakes on the VW and also when my TR6 restoration gets back on the road... hopefully next year
