Ford Mondeo 3 Problems | Weaknesses of the Used Ford Mondeo III 

I have a 2005 1.8 Duratec petrol. Currently 102k miles (164k kilometres). The only thing I ever had wrong was two coil spring fractures, a wheel bearing and thermostat. I've had the car for 14 years. Still drives like brand new! Not one rattle!

I have bought one at 250 000km, 2l 16v duratech, drives lovely and fairly low fuel consumption. Clutch was worn out and the "swirl flaps" in the intake manifold needed to be removed. Fuel pump also needed replacing as it had a light surge in 4th gear at constant speed, and slighty down on power. Very good video! Well done. Good vehicle!

I have a the 2.0l duratec 146bhp Ghia hatch with 92,000 miles or 148,000 kilometres and still runs perfect Things that have gone wrong are coil pack, idle control unit failed, fuel line cracked, springs snapping, alternator belt, bonnet release broke but now works with a new st220 front grill, gear box is hard to engage gears sometimes even though it’s a manual transmission, rear door lock failed, ball joints knackered so replaced both lower control arms on the front, regularly serviced, swirl flaps should be replaced but I’m not bothering for now as they never tend to break or show any catastrophic failure, EGR needs a clean as the car is smoking from the rear, radio antenna stopped working but have replacement connector Oh and rear right wheel bearing had to be replaced All and all though the car is solid and proven to be really reliable all this has happened within 5 years of ownership and I intend to hold onto this and make it a high mileage duratec hero

Hello I just bought a Ford Mondeo 2.0 Ghia TDCI 2007 version sometimes it takes 20 times to start ( anti theft ) I will subscribe in case I have questions if you don't mind

Ive got a ford Mondeo 2006 automatic and it wont drive foward but will drive into reverse after reving a few times but then stop for a few minutes or seconds after and then have to rev again to make it go forward or reverse. Not sure what the problem is im located in New Zealand please help me with info
