Yes, thank you so much for posting this, I haven't found a single person actually describing their (recent) experience at DINFOS. I'll be attending in September as an Army MOS-T, I'm stoked! Best of luck to you as you finish the course.

No worries at all! Are you prior service? If not, im sure your dorms will be very similar to how mine is. Although I can tell you right away the Army has a TON more rules than we do :(

I’ve had such a hard time finding very much information about the dorm setups at Meade, I’m headed out late this year as Navy MC and when I look it’s almost completely Pensacola and Great Lakes. Glad you made this!! May not be exactly the same but it’s the closest I’ve found as of yet.

I’m almost the same situation as you man! Already have my BA degree, enlisting and booked PA, I ship to BMT 9 November, and plan to commission in a handful of years. I spent the last two years trying to commission but with boards being messed up, the enlisting now route fit my current needs in my life best. I can’t wait to finally get to BMT, and Ft Meade, been planning on it for EVER! I’m also lucky that my MEPS is at Ft Meade, so I’ll leave from there, then come right back after basic. Best of luck with the rest of Tech School!

Hey! Well, I’m in the guard so I don’t have day to day duty (unless I’m on orders) but typically it will depend on your base and shop that you go to. Every mission is different and will require you to use one or more of the skills you learn at tech school to complete it. Im mainly a video guy at my base but they have been having me do a lot more photo and writing recently which has been great!

You’ll have a roommate if you’re in the detachment but as prior service, you can stay in your own apartment

I majored in business administration is college. Doesn't matter at all! They tech you everything you need to know at DINFOS. I also had a ton of previous experience in the field

I just submitted my packet. Basically you tell the recruiter you're interested. Then, you'll come in to your recruiter office to read a script and then speak for 60 seconds on why you'd make great fit for this job. Your recruiter will put the packet together, and send it off. You'll hear if you qualify within 4 business days.

You can but you just have to be careful about what you put out there. I just did this one video about the dorm as its common knowledge and everyone posts in their room. I didn't post anything further about the base or anything else as that could be violating SAPP.
