I love this game. I spend my time doing the weekly events, sometimes I hop into multiplayer, sometimes I just lap the Nurburgring by myself. I think it's a fantastic racing game, they have built a great sandbox. The car sounds, the physics, the graphics, it's a fantastic console game.
My only suggestion for this game would be to make it work again. It broke for a LOT of PC players since the last update, and I don't think they actually changed anything that would make it work again.
With the current content shortage this game has, it should be unacceptable to mot release a new track every update, at least for the first year. There's nothing to do long-term in this game besides mindless grinding for a CARPG system that's been disregarded. If they are not going to give us a new track, they should at least drop a ton of new cars and races. There's several cars like the S650 Mustang that Horizon got a month ago but is still missing in Motorsport. I try not to sound like the Motorsport haters, but this game just has nothing to do, especially for solo players. Multiplayer is fun, but this game needs a fully fledged career mode desperately. Turn 10, please stop with the FOMO races and just add a career mode with actual racing cars. Also, where is the auction house??? How are you going to have FOMO cars but no auction house? Where are clubs? Where are drag and drift modes? Where is the content? The game is pretty much dead, and drip feeding content isn't helping. Turn 10 should drop any tracks and recycled cars that are ready to go into the game, and focus 100% into new content and fixing this games issues. Sorry for the rant, I just hate seeing my favorite racing franchise drug through the mud.
So very disappointed with the lack of new cars in these recent updates for what is still a game in its infancy. Even so-called 'recycled' cars from previous games or 'crossovers' from Horizon releases would be welcome (and the latter 2 you would think would be fairly easy to introduce if they already exist within Forza). Content additions are a crucial way to increase popularity of the games and retain interest, so Turn 10 Studios need to wake up!!
The magazine is still a thing and certainly BBC wouldnt mind give away stuffs from series, also the track is owned by someone else, this why it is on both GT and Forza
They could just add an "airport" track and have it relatively close. Also just because something isnt an IRL thing doesnt mean it cant exist in games, its even more of a reason to keep something alive ; putting them in games to continue enjoying for hear
Sadly, I call this update another massive L. Just two recycled cars, another variant of a new car, and a car that should've been in the game at launch.
the ginetta is new to forza and is a cool car and the elemental is new to motorsport, but the rest are Ls, the 935 should have been at launch. hopefully matchmaking updates, make the game actually somewhat enjoyable online.
Hey Jake, do you think is it possible for Turn 10 to add into game a brand new track that wasnt in forza Motorsport before for future updates? Like Redbull ring or Interlagos?
They remove the KTM GT2 out of Forza GT but add the Porsche 935 GT2 race car to Forza GT......doesn't make sense......hopefully when the finally fix the Forza GT division it will be broken down into Forza GT4/GT3/GTE/GT2/V8 Supercars/Trans AM 1 instead of combining all the classes into one
The game is decent now but i hate how the sound effects work, like you can hear the engine working from the front if it's a rear/mid engine car, like how the fck, plus the engine sound recycling is getting abused atp
Update 8 has no new race cars, no new tracks and the “new” cars are all old and outdated. Great works guys. It’s been 7 months since launch with no new LMH/LMDH, every gt3 car besides the Lexus and McLaren are outdated and there’s still no Indycar/nascar/drift/drag. $100 game my ass
Not gonna lie as someone that plays this game a fair bit. The McMurtry is a pretty useless car. It won't ever be used in multiplayer and I doubt it'll ever be used in the single player, not that many people still play the single player anyway. Would much prefer they focus on proper racing cars that race in real life series and events. New IMSA/WEC cars would be nice
We have already had these cars in horizon, but they get away with it because they are new to motorsport.😢 The slider for the matte and metallic paint is welcome but these “new” cars are crap. Hopefully the multiplayer fixes are what’s needed. Dreading not knowing if this game will run well or not on my new PC coming at this months end. Hoping the GT4RS front bumper is fixed and the Cinque sound 😅
If I had to take a guess on what track we will be seeing for Update 9.0. Since it is coming in the Summer for you lot in the Northern Hemisphere, *Long Beach* - very fitting.
Can someone please tell the head of creative in PG to start fully taking over the series updates on FM⁉️ Because each month is looking eerily tragic as the first year of FH5. 🤦♂️
Forza turn 10 who ever is runnin that dumpster fire just drop more content and while doing that dont stop droppin content cause this games dull and is a perfect sleep medicine 😴 👌
How many yeats have people asked for fujimi? Wheres the drift content? Why give us drag tires and then block the drag strips? The only time they listen to the community is when were talking about not playing anymore. Why can they completely change game mechanics but not give is window stickers? 😂
Hi, there is at least 1 person who's having a pretty good time with it. It's me. I can't say I'm fully hooked up on it and feeling like it's the greatest game I ever played because I would be lying, but I keep enjoying it. Where I'm spending the most time is running single-player GT3 races (my top 3 tracks in the game are Suzuka, Willow Springs, and Road America). Sure, AI is bit dumb, but it's bearable
@thesprawl2361 it is. Sure, it's not perfect, but it's far from unplayable hot garbage. It still needs some polishing. Primarily splitting GT cars into different sections (Forza GT4, GT3, GTE/LM, Trans Am Supercars) to ensure fair races and competitiveness of each class.
@@alexreif246 I've said this before about FM8: it's at once a huge, huge disappointment, and also a perfectly decent racing game. When you place it in the context of other racing games, and other forza games, and especially when you think about those six years of building expectation, it's a deep disappointment. But consider it purely on its own merits it's one of the better racing games out there. Still no defending the f**king car sounds though.
@thesprawl2361 I agree. In some things (added tyre/fuel management, added penalties), FM8 is a huge step up in the right direction from FM7. But at the same time, in other aspects (the amount of cut content), it is a pretty big step back from FM7. Overall, I feel like Turn10 took 1 step forward and then immediately 2 steps back when they were developing FM8. From the day it got released, I've been saying that FM8 is basically FM5 2.0
