Frasier: "I do NOT have a fat face!" Niles: "Oh, please! I keep wondering how long you're going to store those nuts for winter!" One of the funniest scenes ever!
This sums up Frasier’s feelings towards Niles perfectly. He stopped getting attention from mom because he’s the older brother, Niles was the baby at the time, and Niles is jealous of Frasier’s fame. 🤣
Mundo, I think a lot of that -- outside of their chemistry and excellent acting -- was that there was still character progression within these broad comic moments. That's why I loved that series. Every one of the main characters grew. Even the ski lodge and dead seal dinner party episodes, both very broad in humor, relied on the established characters to give the episode resonance. I truly miss this series but it ended its run in an excellent manner.
-Frasier is one of those shows that is One "Great Scene" after another. There will never be another. This is one show that never "Jumped the Shark". It went out while on top. Not to many shows have done that. Even in syndication the show still brings in great ratings. "I'm listening"(and watching too;)
Niles: I'm having a flashback!! You're climbing in my crib and jumping on me!!..." Fraiser: "YOU STOLE MY MOMMY!!!!" I remember the first time seeing this i was laughing harder than i have the entire season
Frasier and Niles are Ivy League Educated Doctors with years of psychiatric experience, well respected in high society, and yet they can’t shake off their childish competitiveness with each other. This is pure comedy.
Niles: " Oh! My God, my God I'm having a flashback! You're climbing in my crib and jumping on me!" Frasier: "YOU STOLE MY LIFE! YOU STOLE MY WIFE!! YOU STOLE MY IDEAS!! BUT WORST OF ALL, YOU STOLE MY MOMMY!!!!!!" Niles: "Ow!"
The "Frasier" subtleties are just the best. 'Four of my patients have been elected to political office!' Hmmm, it sounds good at first, but then, one realizes exactly what that implies...
Gawd, David was certainly hotter back then! Kelsey, on the other hand, his hair was certainly...dorky, in a cool kinda way. I want to see the early seasons; I've only seen Season 8 onwards.
Frasier is the older brother. He was an only child ergo the sole treasure of his 'mommy' until Niles was born. She's not 'his' mother anymore as much as she's 'their' mother, especially right at birth when a baby needs full attention.
actually Niles was jaleous about Frasier with Martin, it's somehow implied that Frasier, as most bigger brothers, when the new baby was born felt angry for the treatment his mommy gave to the new child (Niles), been there :d
Does anyone know the name of the episodes where the Crane boys go into business together. One is a restaurant and (I think) the other is psychiatry partners.
