I mean, a lot of Brazil is still just the Amazon, which is really hard to inhabit, and there is a lot less infrastructure inside that part of the countryside, if any at all, so if we were to exclude it, Brazil would be at least 40% smaller than what it is on a world map. That's how big the Amazon Rainforest actually is.

We have another cheese "kashkaval" that would better fit with the term cheese. Our sirena (the plural form of sirene) are only possible to be made in Bulgaria, because of a bacteria called bacilicus bulgaricus. Therefore other languages like English don't have it as a separate category like in Bulgarian because it quite literally doesn't exist anywhere else.

Fun fact the Bulgarian sirene in 19th place that in English directly translates to "cheese" is a fun linguistic quirk . We have another cheese "kashkaval" that would better fit with the term cheese. Our sirena (the plural form of sirene) are only possible to be made in Bulgaria, because of a bacteria called bacilicus bulgaricus. Therefore other languages like English don't have it as a separate category like in Bulgarian because it quite literally doesn't exist anywhere else. The homemade sirene from an old neighbor in a small village is absolutely incredible in taste and should rank higher, but regardless I am happy that it is in 19th.

The equivalent would be piedepalla which resembles palla al piede that means ball and chain. Also calcio means kick, which makes sense and as a word it's easy to pronounce here

I am portuguese and from my experience people are just proud because we found a way to trade with people who lived literally on the other side of the world. The portuguese empire started because some dude looked at the sea and said 'i will find s way'. That era is literally called the Descobrimentos (which roughly means the discoverys) and for better or worse, when thinking of this era we immediately associate it with nautical advances and brave man sailing to the unknown hoping they will find their way to India. We are not proud of what we did to so many as an empire...
