GAME: Fate/Samurai Remnant
AUTHOR: Omega Force, Koei Tecmo
Fate/Samurai Remnant lets players play as Miyamoto Iori. The combat is hack and slash style with some similarities to musou gameplay, but it falls under the Action RPG genre with dodging and looking for openings as an important element. It features a wide array of stances, which the player character can switch between on the fly. Iori uses dual katanas, a widespread weapon for Samurai during the Edo period. Players can give commands to their servant, launching special attacks and combos. In certain situations, the game allows for full control of Iori's servant, as his weapons can't be used against other servants.

Nico if you wonder why Aria keep on targeting you or seducing you... This is actually Myth Accurate Tamamo no Mae and no its not just Aria. You know WHAT is their sin? The sin of lust! They are one of Japan's greatest 3 evil in myth. They take form as a perfect love for any man who she targets too. No matter what body or age. Yes, even Aria's body would be one of Tamamo no Mae's seducing form. Not to mention as a nine-tail fox? They are technically a god... To be precise "evil god" 1-3 = Minor god 3-5 = Medium god 6-8 = Great god 9 = Strongest fox god Aria and every other Tamamo counter path are 100% h*rny all the time for a good reason. They are the evil god of lust after all. Even if you talk to anyone its always going to end with h*rny talks. Despite this massive lust? They are one of the smartest and strongest god in Japan.

The Orihime and Hikoboshi that Aria mentioned is based on the story that was the basis of the Tanabata festival, in which the Milky Way separates the two lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on a specific day. You've actually seen it in a previous LP before, its what Mayuri referenced in Steins;Gate 0 when talking about her relationship with Okabe that is slowly drifting apart from what it was ever since Kurisus death, that she became unable to see the real Okabe. Its also the namesake of the Bleach character Orihime, as Ichigo is basically her Hikoboshi.

Zheng doesn't ask for Saber's true name because it would defeat the point. Zheng is coming to Iori for help. He's asking Iori, his rival, for a favor. So Zheng has to do something to make it worth his while, a show of trust to show that he is legitimate about wanting an alliance. Thus, giving Archer's true name freely. If he asked for Saber's true name in return, that would defeat the entire purpose of the show of trust. The deal would then be made uneven again, Zheng would be asking for assistance while giving nothing in return.

Zheng Chenggong is indeed a real figure from history much like Iori. He is famous for being a Ming general who fought against emerging Qing empire. He was born from a Chinese father and a Japanese mother. In addition to fighting the Ming, he also came into conflict with the Dutch, specifically targeting the island of Taiwan. Notably, his unique parentage and accomplishments make him revered by the communist People's Republic of China, the Republic of China in Taiwan and the Japanese at the same time, an honor held by very few. In mainland China he is recognized for combating the Qing, fighting imperialism and taking over Taiwan. In Taiwan, he is remembered for being a patriot who reclaimed Taiwan, bringing culture to the island and his opposition to the Qing is often paralleled with Taiwan's conflicts with the mainland. In Japan, his maternal link to the islands are expanded upon (he actually has living descendants in Japan today) and is regarded as an exemplar of samurai ideals. Also notable: in parts of costal China, he is actually regarded as something of a minor deity with several shrines dedicated to him. Fun fact: he also very likely had syphilis. Zhou Yu is, as with most servants, also a historical figure, specifically from the three kingdoms era of China. He fought for the Wu kingdom and was a close personal friend and blood brother to the warlord Sun Ce. Particularly notable is Zhou Yu's participation in the Battle of Red Cliffs, where an alliance of Wu and Shu met the warlord Cao Cao's army. Zhou Yu led the Wu navy which was notable as the Battle of Red Cliffs was likely one of the largest naval battles in the ancient world. The alliance of Shu and Wu were able to route Cao Cao and prevented him from leading his followers south of the Yangtze river, stalling his efforts to reunite the Han empire. Zhou Yu's strategies were a key to victory as the alliance was actually outnumbered but Zhou Yu along with Huang Gai devised a plan involving Gai faking a defection then setting the defecting ships on fire. Zhou Yu's record as a strategist however led him into conflict and rivalry with another notable three kingdoms strategist Zhuge Liang (though it should be noted that this rivalry was likely ahistorical and invented by later writers). Sadly, Zhou Yu would eventually die after Zhuge Liang managed to troll him three times (no I am not joking).

Zhou Yu’s antagonistic relationship with Zhuge Liang is purely fictional and was only mentioned in the historical novel written by Luo Guangzhong, who was biased towards the Shu Han faction and Zhuge Liang. In real life he didn’t know Zhuge Liang very well, let alone met him. Zhou Yu simply died from illness in actual history.

There is a reason behind why they paired up Zheng with Zhou Yu. It is essentially a reference to Koei’s longest running grand strategy game franchise “The Romance of the Three Kingdoms” based on the actual Chinese historical epic of the same name. In these games there is usually a fantasy scenario where you can recruit anachronistic characters from different time eras, with Zheng Chenggong being one of them. And for some unknown reason, Zhou Yu and Zheng Chenggong have the best synergy match in these games, and it has become a running trope in the series.

Here's a bit more to why knowing someone's true name could lead to having an advantage over them. By knowing their true name, you can find out other things about them, not just the way they died. Like what're you gonna do if they died of old age historically? Pray they grow old again? Well, fortunately, you can get more value with a true name than just that. Take Gilgamesh, for example. Guy seems fairly cocky in his origin story, just a tad bit, a teensy tiny bit. Maybe you could talk some mad shit at him and lure him into an ambush you set up. Who knows? How about Archer? Well, he's a strategist, and we have lots of records. Is he more of the patient type, or is he more about going all out right off the bat? Does he prefer tried and true tactics, or is he more of an unorthodox thinker? You can get all that, and more, just by knowing their true name.

Zheng Chenggong, also known as Koxinga. Of all the real masters in this game, Koxinga is probably the most famous and the biggest deal. In the Fate universe there's possibly a Servant version of him out there. Long story short: He ruled Taiwan in the mid 1600s after liberating part of it from the Dutch. It was known as Tungning until 1683. He didn't live very long after establishing his kingdom, dying of Malaria in 1662.

So to elaborate on the noble phantasm info in this episode- "NP" on the stats screen is referring to a servants Noble Phantasm. And when you see a description for them they tend to get descriptions like "Anti-personel" or "Anti-army" etc. And these labels give a pretty good idea of how strong or destructive the attack would be, for example an anti personel attack is great for attacking a singular target, whereas anti fortress could blow up a castle, and anti army could take down an army. Or for a more specific example, Musashi's was listed as anti-causality which to put into simple terms means she can cut or damage pretty much anything, even concepts like fate or karma. And if that sounds like complete nonsense, then the easiest takeaway I can give you in regards to the power of servants in fate is that the longer an explanation is required for an ability the more absolutely batshit insane it is. And Musashi is absolutely bonkers. 😂
@uninspiredname2974
@uninspiredname2974 8 месяцев назад
Important addendum: the classification is specifically what the NP can *target*. It actually provides no information about destructive power. Anti-personnel means it can target a single individual; anti-fortress would mean it is designed to target an entire fortification, and so on. A lot of people make the mistake of seeing (it happens in places in the franchise) "Anti-World" and think it could destroy the world, but that is not what it means. What it _does_ mean would require an entire separate lore lecture, unfortunately.
@blurb9319

@blurb9319 I mean within the servant spirit origin they would not be able to gather that kind of power though; now as a divine spirit or higher, yes some NPs might if you ubercharge them, but I think their spirit cores would like explode before they could actually destroy the world

Archer was probably talking about Sun Ce when his master was acting impulsive, who was his best friend and lord, he is described as a gregarious man who was generous and laid the foundation for the Wu dynasty which was established by Sun Quan, Sun Ce's younger brother following his death, which Zhou Yu would fight for before his own death from illness. The two are often described as sworn brothers and were said to be brother in laws, so they were very close. So, it is likely a big praise from Archer even if he said it in a sort of backhanded way.

Fun Fact: Just to let you know, Edo, the setting of Fate/Samurai Remnant, is actually the former name of the current Japanese Capital, Tokyo, during the Edo Peiod, prior to the Meiji Restoration. It was initially a fishing village which developed after Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first Tokugawa Shogun is bestowed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi the Kanto Region, after the Siege of Odawara, in exchange of not living in his ancestral lands of Mikawa Province (currently a part of the Aichi Prefecture where Nagoya is) However, during the Edo Perild, the Seat of th Emperor is still in Kyoto despite the Shogunate being de facto Head of Government of the country. The Emperor moved their seat to Edo, now renamed Tokyo shortly after the Meiji Restoration In case you didn't believe it, evidences can be seen from several places in the game having the same name as the one in Tokyo. From where Iori lives in Asakusa (famous for the Temple Senso-ji), Ueno, Kanda (Yes, the same Kanda where you meet Hifumi in Persona 5), and so on. A notable exception to this is Yoshiwara, which is a famous Red Light District in the Edo Period, but damages from Great Kanto Earthquake and later the Outlawing of Prostitution in 1958 brought that to an end.

"Why is she looking at me like that?!" Well Nico, the OG Fate visual novel is an eroge (As in, it contains sexual content), so it _is_ canon that bodily fluids contain mana. A Master will supply mana to their Servant continuously but in small quantities just by being contracted with them, but if you're in a situation when you need a lot of magical energy quickly, the Master could share a bit of blood, kiss them, or just straight up bang them. That being said, ever since Fate has become more and more mainstream, they've kind of distance themselves from this concept, so instead of actually seeing it in action, it's more likely you'll see it being hinted at in a joking manner, like here.

Nico, some advice for this game and a person who completed 100% of this game. I posted some tips back in episode 2 and episode 5 but I will post it here again in case you missed it and some newly added tips. 1. Affinity (Servants) and valor are broken. It can interrupt enemies' attacks (glowing in red) and can gather enemies (like a magnet, you will see enemies gather together in your minimap) for them to hit with the skills. Try to get stats that build those. Especially affinity as it's useful in spirit font missions where Saber or getting rogue servants to help you in capturing territories. 2. There are some missable logs. One of them is "key areas" (most of them are recognizable either as big buildings or areas that look unique and you did one "key area" back in episode 3). You have to press R3 (near the important site) and then see a blue pillar of light. There are 20 of them and one is missable at the beginning of chapter 2 (the red gate at Akakasa), so watch out for it. 3. Build statues in your workshop (home), it's good money to be sold to Boss. Also, you should save scum if you messed up the QTE. There will be statue that will have a difficult QTE. 4. Constantly check your map for Digression (like some picky penguins mentioned before). Some are missable if you progress the story (ritual). So be careful before going to Sprit Font (layline). 5. Try to buy all building materials (if possible) from all merchants in each chapter. The shop reset each chapter but gets more expensive in each chapter. There's another Commission where you have to buy at least one item from all merchants and one of the merchants will be missable if you progress in the story (ritual). 6. Try using Iori's skill Riposte though it has a tight window. It's extremely helpful, for boss fights and certain monsters. Especially a skill in the skill tree that increases damage buff after a successful riposte and significantly reduces shell gauge. 7. The Local Trial (map objective) will make you beat a certain enemy. Some of those enemies only spawn in certain areas. If you check your map, and see the enemies not in that area (highlight in red of the specific area). You should leave and enter another map and reenter for that specific enemy to appear. 8. The way Spirit Font works is basically Othello. Try to surround the enemies(red) or blank(white) spirit font with your spirit font (blue) to capture it without going there, but it can ONLY CAPTURE ONE at a time. ie, White/White/Blue and you capture one of the white like this Blue/White/Blue, it will turn Blue/Blue/Blue. It will NOT capture if it's like White/White/White/Blue and capture the piece in the beginning Blue/White/White/Blue WILL NOT TURN all of them Blue. The red/white spirit font has to be SURROUNDED by your Blue spirit font. Hope it makes sense.

There's actually a number of Japanese snake monsters, gods, and even people associated with both in Japan's history. Though, Saber mentioning a Snake God specifically is... kind of a big deal, especially for Fate. Fate (and the Nasuverse as whole) works of a sort of hierarchy system. For example, Humans are normally weaker than mages, Mages are normally weaker than magical beasts, magical beasts are normally weaker than Servants/Heroic Spirits, etc. Gods (also known as divine spirits) are at least a step or two above servants. That means if Saber has encountered a something able to claim itself as a god, Saber is STUPIDLY strong, more so than most Servants would be anyways. It's also why servants that have divine blood or association are REALLY strong, like Gilgamesh. The more divine blood you have in you, the closer you are to teh next tier basically. It's a decent peak both into Saber's potential past as well as just how crazy strong Saber is. Also, magical circuits are basically the veins of Mage. It's what allows someone to focus mana and use magic to begin with, meaning that yes, Iori has them. The Quality and Quantity are basically just how good they are at doing their job and how many of them you have. Quality dictates how well you can handle magic and quantity helps with output. Composition basically just means how their set. Normal means they aren't tangled or arranged in any weird ways. Oh, side note, what Aria was proposing is a bit of a meme based on some lore. Servants gain mana from their masters naturally, but can also be gifted extra via something called mana transfer. This is done by have a servant absorbing something from the master charged with mana into their body. Normally this is done by offer for them to drink your blood. However, there are.... other methods that can be used. Do with that info what you will

I should mention that the form a Noble Phantasm takes is never always a clear defined things. Sometimes it's a weapon like Saber's, sometimes it's an attack like Lancer's sometimes it's a piece of armour or a mount or a living entity or a fighting technique or sometimes it's something abstract that recreates the most infamous event of a hero's legend. And some servants can have either just the one or multiple. This is usually what makes the whole true name thing important, especially when most of the competitors of the ritual are full blown mages who have prepared for and understand the functions of magecraft better than a normal civillian.
@aneonfoxtribute
@aneonfoxtribute 8 месяцев назад
It's not that the Servants are, like, resentful of their Masters for being weak. When Zhou Yu says that Zheng is powerless, he's stating it as a matter of fact. He's doing it in a different way than Saber is. Saber saying Iori is powerless is basically them being cocky, because they're so good at what they do. Zhou Yu saying Zheng is powerless isn't the same at all. The difference is in respect. Saber doesn't really respect Iori, at least at the start. They just want to fight and they think Iori is deadweight. Zhou Yu, however, DOES respect Zheng, he says that he might be able to entrust his dying wish to Zheng and he resolves to help Zheng get his desires. He doesn't see Zheng as deadweight, he just knows that Zheng is going to be less able to win the war on his own, because he can. Most Servants aren't really like that. Most Servants don't really care if their master is weak because they know their role in things is to be the warrior, and they're fine with that. Saber says it because they're arrogant, and Zhou says it out of concern. It's not really the norm.

Random Fate Trivia #5 Rogue Servants (or Strays) are quite the enigma for those who aren't used to the series. After all, they are basically Summoned to a ritual with no Master and are heavily reliant on the leylines to gain power, and even then their power is restricted without a proper Master. So one might be asking "so what would be the point of summoning Strays?" Thing is, having Strays directly summoned to the ritual is not common in this series. In fact, aside from this game, there's only been one true instance where Strays are normal. If you ever think of Stray Servants, that usually means their Master is dead or they have forcibly cut ties with their previous Master (in both cases, they only have a limited amount of time before they are truly gone). So why are they Summoned? It's usually different on a case-to-case basis. Stray Servants are not a normal occurence, they really just refer to Servants without a Master. There's rarely a chance for extras to be summoned through a ritual.

Case-to-case basis meaning two major factors, either they were summoned by the Counter Force, an almighty and omnipotent entity bent on correcting historical and worldly anomalies (aka, Beasts or enemies of humanity). Or just like this game has tackled, powerful spirit leylines. And since the game is set on historical Japan period, magic is prevalent and the leylines are stronger than it was in the present day. Or the rare third one where they just summon themselves out of sheer will, or they just felt like it. Examples being Gilgamesh here and even Minamoto no Raikou on FGO.

Let me explain the Archer and Assassin class Archer: an heroic figure who where know for they expertise in shooting and may or may not have wielded a bow. While an "Archer" sounds like someone who definitely wields a bow, they don’t necessarily use, the only criteria to be an Archer is to just have great precision. Also an unique trait of the Archer class is that they have Independent Action in which if their master dies they can survive by their own for some days without mana. Assassin: an heroic figure who have killed many people or where renown assassins. They have the unique trait of presence concealment which lets them hide even from the keenest magic sensing. Their fighting prowess can sometimes be average but they excel and are mostly used on killing Masters unguarded from their Servant

I'm not sure about this game, but in Fate/Stay Night they say you need to kill the seven servants, but since they are terribly strong, it'd be easier to kill the master, thus cutting off the servant's mana supply.

8:20 - it's important to know that *food* is an incredibly important theme for the Fate series. In fact, it's so important, almost every piece of Fate media features cooking and cuisine in some aspect, but there's even a spin off manga and show that is dedicated to Fate characters making food from scratch that you can actually follow along with. It's the idea of a 'home life' in the day that is cut apart by the dark world of servants fighting in the night. Nothing is more peaceful than a meal with loved ones, and so great effort is given to it. If you bought the special edition of the game, you'd actually be given an English novel of the characters from this game describing and eating a variety of food. So Saber's love of food isn't so much a reference to anything of their past, but moreso just a continued tradition started with the original visual novel that continues to this day. Fun fact, it's what encouraged me to start cooking myself!

The only exception so far is Chiemon, though if we're counting non-Masters as well, we can also count Kaya as well (while Iori did have adopted siblings in real-life, there is no report of a Kaya among them).

Fun fact about the bro master who just rescue you Zheng Chenggong, alternative name was Koxinga. He was one of china two famous pirates who cause a lot of commotion to the Qing Chinese Empire. He was kicking all the asses: Quing Chinese, Dutch, and Japanese. He was the one who liberated a very very special island: Famusa or as recently known as Taiwan.
@user-qy4gp8cd8t
@user-qy4gp8cd8t 8 месяцев назад
Again, he was not a pirate. He was a Chinese Ming loyalist general commander of the rump Chinese Southern Ming state under the Longwu emperor based in Fuzhou, Fujian province. “Koxinga” was not his name, but a moniker because he was given the imperial surname “Zhu”, and the title “Chenggong” meaning “victorious”. Technically he should be called “Zhu Chenggong”. His real name was “Zheng Sen”, but was widely known as “Zheng Chenggong”. He had to take out the Dutch outpost on Taiwan because 1. The Dutch had been a constant headache and liability to the Ming from behind because they kept skirmishing with the Ming over some islands. 2. Zheng needed a location as their base of operation to train troops. The Qing at this point is predominantly led by unsinicized Jurchens so I wouldn’t exactly describe them as “Chinese” at his point. They will be gradually sinicized later.
@user-qy4gp8cd8t
@user-qy4gp8cd8t 8 месяцев назад
Qing’s ruling chieftain family Asin Gioro most likely was somewhat sinicized because they worked under the Ming in the past as the commander of Jianzhou. But for the other banner tribesman most likely not.
@user-qy4gp8cd8t
@user-qy4gp8cd8t 8 месяцев назад
And just as a follow-up. I wouldnt say Zheng “kicked Qing asses” because he was constantly failing to retake the mainland and losing land on the mainland to the Qing. In the end he didn’t really accomplish too much and only held out on Taiwan for a bit before dying a few years later and his grandson would eventually surrender to Qing and that branch of the Zheng family would be recruited as a bannerman nobility. He did’t come conflict with the Japanese, and it is an odd statement that you made about that because the Tokugawa shogunate which replaced the Toyotomi regime at that point was full on conservative, Confucian, isolationist and anti-expansionist, and very de-miltarized (as shown in this game, the samurai class was severely suppressed by the shogunate and a lot of them lost their jobs and became ronin) Zheng did ask for help from the Shogunate and they literally said no can do. They wouldn’t be of help anyways because Qing’s ferocious horse archers would have decimated the Japanese.

Think this is as good a point as any to talk about a specific meme in the Fate fandom "The Archer class truly is made of archers". Its a line from the og fate game, in context it makes sense, but the fandom uses it as a way to mock the fact that the class has soooooo many heroes that dont fight with a bow and arrow. Some times it makes sense, Billy the Kid is an Archer but he uses a revolver ( a modern bow). William Tell is an Archer and he fights with...a high-tech crossbow that fires laser arrows and dubs a sniper rifle... still a form of bow and arrow though. Then you have heroic spirits like...Nikola Tesla. How is he an Archer? Well, he "tamed" lightining and electricity, so as a heroic spirit he can...fight by summoning and firing lightining like a Sith Lord (and thats downplaying what he can do btw). Also, Gilgamesh is usually an Archer, no, he also doenst have a bow or anything that looks like one Yeah, the Archer class truly IS made of archers lol.

That detail in Musashi's Noble Phantasm about the revelation of " " is referencing Kara no Kyoukai, a web novel series that series creator Kinoko Nasu wrote during the mid-90s. The main character, Shiki Ryougi, has a unique relationship with the void after having awoken from a two-year coma where one of her personalities had died. This makes her the target for a magus who intends to use her to reach the Root of Alaya, the source of all magic in the world. Regarding its relevancy to this game, it just means that Musashi Miyamoto is really powerful for having access to a portion of the void.

When it said “true name” it meant the name of the Noble Phantasm(NP). Think of it like how Shonen characters call out their special attack names, except here a Servant needs to call out the name of their NP to activate it or use its full might unless it’s a passive type. And if a Noble Phantasm has a super obvious name like say Excalibur, you are definitely gonna figure out who the owner of that NP is. Keep in mind a Noble Phantasm isn’t always a weapon or object. It could be an ability, an event, or action that that Servant had performed and/or experienced in their life that is part of their legend. For example, say I’m a hero who once survived jumping into lava fighting a dragon or something. That event is recorded in my legend, and I gain a NP based on it. The name of the Noble Phantasm will be in reference to it, and calling out the name could say give me the power to use the lava I had once jumped in, while also granting a passive fire resistance even without calling its name.

No, the ritual doesn't have to end in death for the Masters. The Servants do have to kill each other, that is inevitable. But you don't have to kill the Master, that's not a necessary part of the ritual. It can make things easier, because if you kill the Master you kill the Servant, but strictly speaking every Master can walk away from the ritual with their lives intact. The Servants are the only ones whose deaths are necessary.

So, now that you're a little ways into the game and have gotten your feet wet with the juicy lore, I think this would be a good time to delve into the fundamentals of magecraft, the core magic system used in Fate (and all of Type-Moon's franchises, actually). Today, we're going to answer "What the heck is a magic circuit?!" The wiki will tell you it's a "pseudo-nervous system." That's accurate, but to the layman it's nonsensical gibberish. Kind of like how a physical body has genes that define how it grows and functions, the soul has components as well, concepts that define who the person is. A magic circuit is basically a component that is inscribed onto a person's soul, and describes how well they can use magic. Because they're part of the soul, they cannot be naturally modified. Key word there being "naturally." Circuits function by transmuting either Mana (energy created by the world), or Od (energy created by one's body) into magical energy, which is sometimes called "prana" depending on the translation. Magical energy is then used to, well, cast spells and whatnot. The idea for Od actually stems from a real-life 19th century pseudo-scientific concept called the Odic Force. The telluric energy you get from the spirit fonts in the game is Mana, it's just called by a different name. As for why, well, the best answer I can come up with is "Because." Regarding "quantity" and "quality," to put it simply, the "quantity" stat represents the number of circuits you have. The "quality" is how efficiently they work - how much energy your circuits can hold, how easily they can channel said energy, and how much effort it takes to actually use it. The terms have another meaning as well, but that doesn't apply to anything in this game so you don't have to worry about it. It's also kind of complicated, and frankly I'm too lazy to go into it. Now, it's possible to use your physical nervous system as a supplemental magic circuit. Lots of mages throughout the franchise do it, but you need to be extremely careful doing so, as it can seriously mess you up. If you don't know what you're doing it's extremely easy to wind up severely injured, permanently crippled, or just straight up dead as your body burns itself out. I'll stop here as I feel this is all that's really relevant at the moment. Besides, this comment is already getting a bit wordy and I don't want to overwhelm a newcomer to the franchise. At least not yet. I hope you found this helpful and/or informative, though! PS: The reason everyone has paper in their mouths during the katana maintenance is so they avoid getting saliva on the blade during the process, as it can potentially corrode the metal or cause other issues. This is one of the reasons swords are usually coated in a thin layer of oil during maintenance.

Alright to explain what Aria means by giving her magical energy we got to do some mage biology so every mage has something called a magic circuit which is basically an organ that channels magical energy exclusive to mages because of this organ every fluid in a mages body contains magical energy their blood, sweat, saliva and even the white stuff mages have this ritual called mana transfer which’s to transfer the magical energy of one mage into another there are three ways to do this one mouth to mouth, two blood transfer, and three segs just straight segs the third option is considered the most pragmatic of the three because its quick and apparently the crotch juices contain a lot of magical energy that is supposed to turn into the baby’s magic circuit

As it was explained in order to win the ritual you must either destroy a servent or kill their master
