Frigidaire Ice Maker Not Making Ice - Not Ejecting Cubes

In this video I show you how to check the ice mold heater or cube tray on a Frigidaire icemaker. If your refrigerator has stopped making ice but there are still frozen cubes in the tray, the heater on the bottom could be bad.
When the ice cubes need to come out of the icemaker a heater on the bottom comes on for a couple minutes to loosen the ice from the tray so the ejector arm can harvest them out into the ice bucket.
This is one step in the troubleshooting process when you need to fix your refrigerator that is not making ice. Other problems could be a bad water valve or the module on the front of the icemaker could also be defective.

I don't often dislike videos, but I had to here. We need a further explanation of what is going on with the heater and less about how to dismantle the unit.

What do u do if the heater is good and its still not dropping ice?

I had already replaced the water inlet valve on mine, but had the problem of frozen ice not dumping . The simple solution of running a hair drying until ice dumps and all ice pieces are melted , now it works good as before.

Do not bother trying to replace just the heating element and the mold, this part cost twice what a complete ice maker assembly costs, and having to disassemble and reassemble the ice maker is twice the work. $85 for the heating element and mold vs $45 for a complete ice maker assembly. Ludicrous!

Can you tell me how to bench test an icemaker so I don't have to uninstall the other one and install this one to use the jumper? I assume two of the four wires at the jack would need 110v, but which ones?

Wrong there should be some resistance 60 to 90 ohms or so, infinite is bad as is no resistance like yours showed, your vid quality was terrible and you can test through the holes in the front no disassembly.

My Frigidaire ice maker is getting water and making cubes, but the metal lever gets stuck about an inch away from the housing of the ice maker when going up automatically. If I reach over the top and pull one of the rotating white ice pusher tabs ( or whatever they are called), it cycles until the next time.
