**update 6/13/19- If you don't want to run a nightly version of opentx then after you complete this process you can re-flash the official version of opentx from opentx.org**

Frsky sent me a file to change the ISRM mode, and it works I'm no longer stuck as a EU module. To make things even better d16 works now!

Some people have been having radio antenna warnings coming up all the time. There is a new function in the radio module that allows you to turn on and off the external antenna. To fix this issue just go to your MODEL SETUP page and search Options under Internal RF, select [Set] and uncheck Ext. antenna.

I think that it would be safe to buy at this point if you don't want to run and D8 receivers. The external MPM still don't work on the official releases of opentx from frsky yet but they do work on the nightly releases.

Yea the font is the "sqt5font" option when you set up your radio in opentx companion.

Thank you so much for this video! Thank you so much! Honestly, I was ready to break my hardware, as I spent more than 10 hours on all the options for installing the firmware in all possible combinations. I also wrote them a letter and wait for them to answer me. But, unfortunately, I already seem to be unable to take the new equipment on the trip - I will have to take my old taranis x9d +. Real Thanks!

Hi @tweetFPV, I have a X-Lite Pro and got the same LUA from FRSky. I have the latest companion nightly build N58. That said, I can't see any change when using the LUA script. No FCC or EU info in the RX Version. The other difference, is that my ISRM-Pro is 1.1.0/1.1.1 and not 1.1.0/1.1.2. Any idea? I forgot something? Thank you!

Install the the frsky fw from 7/2/19. That one has the isrm update. After that run the Lua. Hopefully that changes you to EU or fcc which ever your looking for. After that you can flash whatever version of the opentx nightly you want and it should work.

Hi, mate. Really cool info from your channel about Xlite pro. Thanks for that. But I also have problem - I updated firmware according your Frsky X-lite Pro Firmware Update✔🛰 video. Did bind to RXSR ACCESS receiver. Now I am trying to make it work with my tinywhoop US65 in d16. it just does not bind. For me under RX version is written 1.1.2.FCC after firmware update. Any solutions?

Do you have frsky_d or frsky_x selected as your protocol in betaflight?

TweetFPV it Was frsky x, but just now I also tried with frsky d. No signs about binding. (And it’s possible to bind it with old xlite)

It should bind with it in frsky_x (this is d16 mode) . I have had this work on a few boards. But some older boards might not work. I'm assuming that you have the crazybee f3 fc in the Ur65. I know it works on the f4 boards. Check out this link for more info. Yes, it still doesn't do d8 and most likely never will. D8 is dead as far as frsky is concerned.

No, this only applied to the new radios using the isrm module. X9 lite and xlite pro

the reason you are having issues is that your radio is setup for EU/LBT region and you are trying to setup a FCC transmitter/ receiver. Did you purchase a FCC or EU version of the x9 lite?

No, your eachine radio does not have a Frsky ISRM in it so it is not region locked.

I did exactly the thing.. i see FCC in there now .. still cant bind D16 internal module .. man frsky just shoudnt put this on market at all since software isnt ready

Try flashing the newest fw from frsky. Com and create a new model. The model that are already on your radio might not pickup the new options.

@@TweetFPV i managed to make it work.. it was an old firmware on my xm+ but what is more interesting !! i put the nightly build on used the lua to change to FCC and reverted back to stable release 2.3 and now my ISRM is in FCC mode ! so it will stick with whatever you selected under the lua even when you go back to factory

If you wasn’t going to share the script, what was the point of the video? If I genuinely got the wrong radio obviously I would contact the supplier or manufacturer. If support gave me the script they would obviously explain how to use it...
