Ladies and gentlemen, i have my new hero in women tennis. She's not arrogant, she is simple, nice person with her feet on the ground. And that's the true champion. Thank you Naomi!!!
wait till that fortune and fame build up past what she can remember....it is one in a million that stay humble like troy polamalu or sid Crosby (I'm from Pittsburgh). I hope she is one of them....
@@KT78387 : don't forget that she or the family must pay everyone who's in the team. General rule is : win 4 or more WTA matches and then build up a a few million and keep the simple life .
Kei Nisshikori is unlucky because hes playing in the era of 3 of the greatest players in the world, otherwise he would probably hit #1 at least for a little bit.
Naomi ...what a player won 2 grandslam in just 5months at these age and still cool as nothing happen that's what make me like her ...very respected player
I don't know her, never saw tennis before with so much interest, amazed by kind-hearted, humble ad thankful soul. Like or not, you can't hate her for sure
Sakura Cherry Blossom I agree with you the us open was unfortunate when the final ended up being about serena and the umpire but this time she can enjoy this grand slam
@@samdavies4685This is not her first grand slam win you spiteful jealous girl. She has already had her moment to shine outside of the cursed tennis world trying to steal from her opponent Serena Williams. Children of Satan that's what you all are.
What a display of charisma, character, determination and class by both players. One of the best tennis finals to gave watched Thank you Naomi and Petra. :)
This is the moment where u feel happy for winning one but bad for loosing one. 2 great ambassadors for the game and Naomi is not future anymore . She is the present! Hope she ends up with 10+ slams bcoz since Maria no woman has touched 5 slams . A consistent dominant star women tennis needs! And for Petra keep it up u will win too!
Surprisingly you didn't mention your "favorite" type of player which is a "pusher"😂. What if Halep, Kerber, Woz all retire, who are you gonna bitch about?🤣 Kasatkina? No offence, just kidding :)
@@alexmeleshenko666 yup kastkina too. she is another annoying pusher who thinks atp forehand will work in women's game lmao! n i dont need to mention them. osaka is gonna win many many majors
Congrats to both of them! It was actually a very close match. Petra has a great comeback. It must have taken a lot of effort to go through all those trauma since the attack. She's definitely a fighter!! Looking forward to more exciting matches from these two ladies!
Congrats to both players for a great match. Both will win more majors, WTA has so many marketable stars now at different ages and styles! Awesome tennis by the women!
Loved this final! I personally cheered Naomi just cuz I'm Japanese also. But I loved both Naomi and Petra. They both had great sportsmanship, and they played their 200%! The ceremony was amazing! Congrats to both!
Long time to see you....Li na You are looking stunning........ Congratulation both of u....what a great champion both of u...... Congratulation to become #World 1 Love you.................
Osaka's awkwardness at these types of things is so funny and amazing. With her tennis skills, I am sure that she will have many opportunities to improve on her public speaking skills.
So much like my favorite player Monica Seles in so many ways, and perhaps the most important one is that for Naomi, as for Monica, what matters is the tussle, the heat of battle, and that's where she shines brightest, far more than basking in the glow of triumph. It's how she plays the game - courageously, grittily, powerfully, fearlessly - and the win is more the result than the aim. A natural frontrunner and a devastating closer. Watching her come back from near defeat twice was like watching her grow up as a champion in real time. May she have the career that Monica should have had, and may the Lord protect her and her beautiful humility and character. Congrats to the wonderful Petra as well. The very top of the game is suddenly in excellent hands; may they contest many, many more Grand Slam finals over the next decade.
Much better final than last year. Naomi absolutely deserved to win and huge congrats to Petra too who overcame such traumatic injury both physically and mentally. And how appropriate it is for Li Na to be at the presentation - Petra was one of her best friends on tour, and handing over the trophy to the next champion of Asian nationality in an asia-pacific grand slam is definitely meaningful.
What an achievement you had this past 5months 2nd grandslam champion for you Naomi..such a talent and humility...congrats to both of you..great match..
jayyyysussss you people with the jumping to the extreme out the gates.... you're like the dude who says at the dinnertable on the very first date, 'ohhh goshhh i think i wanna marry youuuu...' calm tf down and let actual things happen, crazy.
@@DanielBoonelight bro I am watching teniss since 2005 I watched fed Nadal nole and all champions it's not like that Naomi won today and she will be champion always when zverev came everybody said he is new champion but I knew he is a looser so take a look on results now I think you wanted to see Kvitova win this match.
CocoaDiva MGold But why do you want her to go down so badly? What will that do for you? Everyone else has had more than a chance why can’t she win 20GS? She is quite qualified.
Great game ! Great sprits! Great players! Thank you for both of you to show us great match! We really enjoy "The tennis " tonight! なおみちゃん、おめでとう!素晴らしい頑張りを見せてもらいました。私も、ママさんテニス頑張るわ!
Comme Ca Izm I am sure Serena and Venus might be watching. They are probably at the negotiating table fighting for equal pay so the two ladies that are so humble and sweet can get their fair pay. Laurel Thatcher Ulrich said these words: Well-behaved women seldom make history. Meditate on it. I know you know.. there will never be another Mrs. Serena Williams of any race.
Petra, don’t worry, you are a fantastic top super tennis player, I’m sure you are going to be number one soon, I love the way you play , you are amazing, Congratulation and keep going !!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘
