Hi Richard thanks for your comment. In answer to your question about the ONT connection to the router you can run it though a network switch (which is what I do see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l-9AOf0XvUk.html ) providing you have it setup on its own dedicated VLAN with your routers WAN port connected to the same VLAN for the router to pickup the WAN connection from the ONT. In answer to your other question possibly yes but you would need to discuss this with Full Fibre prior to install and they will be best to advise.

Hi Peter just to clarify I don’t work for Full Fibre Ltd myself just created this video for them and my channel. I can answer your question though Full Fibre Fibre Heroes network is 100% fibre optic from the exchange to the home they only do FTTP. They use an XGS-PON network which is 10Gbps capable be sure to checkout the Cabinet tour video I did which explains how their network is setup 👍

Ah you mean the inner fibre in that case I’m not 100% sure as not seen a VM FTTP install first hand

Depends on the ISP (fibre heroes are a wholesaler like Openreach) IDnet and Squirrel give you a static IPV4 by default and other ISPs like BeFibre are CGNAT by default but offer static IPv4 as an add on for a few £ more per month
