got these for my ‘02 Acura TL Type S and i get a stiff but also extremely bouncy ride. like it bounces bad and bounces less and less until it doesnt. why could that be?
Got these for my 2001 Prelude (my daily driver). The preloaded setup, out of the box, helps a lot and the installation is super simple. Make sure you measure your height is even and drive around for a few days. All in all, for the price, this is a very good setup. Lastly, for the price, other competitors do not include the top mount. This was one of the reasons why I purchased these.
Thanks for posting this video it really helped me out a lot on how to lower and raise your car ride height I'm currently saving up to get these same coilovers as you can see in my profile picture my Accord is sitting high at stock height because I don't have coilovers yet but I'm definitely getting these for my Accord then rims after
El o el So that’s where I fucked up, I was” taught” to lower up where it’s preloaded years ago. I did buy another set recently. So I’m looking up how tos now.. 👍
Question I install these on my Acura TL 07 and put it as hight as I cold but my care where too damm low to the point that any bump my bumper get hit Is there a way to make it OEM high up or no?
I've maxed the raise height on my function and my driver side is lower than my passenger side why is this sbd how can I fix it. Can I touch my pre load so I can raise it more?? And how I do that? Do I turn the perch tgat is holdi ng thge spring to the right the same as raising it when I turn to the right normally when raisibgg it from the bottoim perch. I want my driver side the same as the passenger side
If one shock specifically has to raised all the way to match the others, there is something not correct about the install. Even if the shock is blown, the springs will support the vehicle without compression. I suggest to take a video, or a crap load of pictures and send them to Function for an evaluation.
Don't know with Honda and Acura but I put them on a vw gti mk4 and they were really stiff they go really low which is good the quality is great well but around here to much bumps am from Long Island ny
So i set the preload but the ride height im having difficulty ive done research and still no luck is there smaller lower mounts i can buy id appreciate a reply and if u got time i can send you picture ls thanks nice videos!
What's the recommend drop for the type 1 vs type 2? Looking at both your eBay items just can't decide between the two. Mainly looking for drop and not so much the performance aspect.
@@MrRobear help. I have the same question.. with your answer are you saying for daily driving teins are better? Or would type 2 be better ? I hear bad stories about function and form
