I just got back from watching this & I loved it; a solid 8/10 for me (with the possibility of a higher score upon rewatch)! I can't even say I like Fury Road more than this because each of these Furiosa movies gives me something different that I enjoy. That said, I was never a Mad Max "purist" because the only movie I really enjoyed in the franchise was The Road Warrior (1985) until Fury Road (2015). Mad Max (1978) was just boring to me until the last 15 minutes and Beyond Thunderdome (1985) was just weird & not in a good way. So it didn't bother me that there'd be a movie without Max. But someone else said (I can't remember who), that it should've been calied "Furiosa: A Road Warrior Saga" instead. I tend to agree. Still a movie I'll add to my collection.

Loved it! No “woke trash 🗑️ “ or political pandering stuffed down my throat. And a solid female lead by Anna (and the young furioso who looked just like older furioso)! The lack of dialogue was fitting the same as it was in Fury Road. Chris Hemsworth had joker energy and was a menace! For once it felt like I was watching a movie and got to escape the crap in our real world.

From this franchise, the only movie that has hooked me at all was Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. I wasn't that wowed by Fury Road, so I don't know if I'll like this.

Just got done watching it. It was a fun movie to me. I'd give it like a 7 or 6.5 out of 10. Hemsworth was a fun character. I had a lot of laughs. The 1st part was the best part of the film to me. Ive never been a huge fan of mad Max series. I watched them as kid on TV randomly and forgot about them. I guess I'll give them all rewatch as an adult cuz I don't remember them all that much. Good film imo tho

I really enjoyed the action and I loved Anya Taylor Joy.. but the story didn’t do much for at all.. was hoping for a more compelling story for Furiosa (at least for me).. and I kept comparing this to Fury Road roads action.. I thought Fury Road’s action was bigger and better in almost every aspect.. still a 7.5/10 from me.

This was the only Mad Max movie I have seen, and it was okay. The action and scale were pretty good, even though it was odd that baddies kept spawning randomly during the rig scene. I noticed that sped up effect a few times too, kind of jarring. The CGI was 90% fantastic or at least not distracting. I feel like they chose all the bad CGI scenes and put them in the trailer, turning people off. Anya was good, though a lot of wide eye staring off. Hemsworth was great, bring that insanity, but with moments of clarity too. Showed a soft side for young furious, in his own twisted way. I was caught off guard by some of the characters, like the guy in the 3 piece suit who was caressing himself the whole time haha. Overall, it was an enjoyable time. Not sure why so many comments are saying its politics free, its literally a movie about political power dynamics and how even in the wasteland, somethings never change.

I didn't like Dune 1+2 I found them boring. But I loved Mad Max Fury toad. Great review I am going to see this.

George always uses strange speed up styles and I can't say I've ever liked that but still love all his MM films - The chaotic speed of MM FR really annoyed me but you get used to it. A shame we'll never get an Old Mel Gibson sequel,. But since the rebooting of MM in FR I would love to see a series in this world!

It was good but not better than the first the first is a masterpiece this felt like something was missing. I love Anya as Furiosa & I've always been a huge Immortan Joe fan. Chris Hemsworth was hit & miss in some spots overall I liked him. Think they couldve made him less silly. I loved the easter eggs Charlize Theron is hard to beat honestly she's just perfect in everything. And I agree she deserved expansion of her story. I HATE what happened to Preatorian Jack 😫 some of the shots in this film had me speechless

Fury road was meh for me personally, sounds and looks awesome in my home theatre, especially atmos. I will chcek this one out when it drops on 4K but other than that, I never really cared for the Mad Max movies, still, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
