Hi Ernest, Really enjoy your posts. Would just useing the carbon tensioner and my Donney FL Sumo or any other large capacity silencer to torque the tensioner avoiding the need for a shroud work?
The barrel tensioner is pulling your barrel out damaging the rear part of the barrel the part that has the transferports and making it off its original place.
What's the problem with the 800mm barrel setup? I've been looking, and couldn't find it anywhere. When I first saw this , i thaught it was a dream come true. They say that it's no problem them to do a 800mm barrel. The fx MAVERICK SNIPER should be a perfect candidate for all calibers , not just 22. THe impact was in the limelight for quite some time. Its time to let us have at least some crums. Just baught my maverick, and I'm bummed out. 22 long?where is it brother?

good morning Ernest. i have ordered your kit, but was wondering about a Barrel support with clamp? do you offer one? would your kit be compatible with the FX Clamp?
@@12VALVETORQUE -> Hi, indicate what type of barrel mount so you will get the proper tensioner length and BC have a shroud that fit over an FX tensioner also
@@chrisfigueroa3361 i never got that far. I looked at it and didn’t know so I didn’t go any further. I can see holes in parts of it for a pin spanner but not sure if it’s all thread locked together. Have looked for videos on this but found nothing.
@@ernestrowe5061 i also added a carbon fiber tube inside the shroud. Supper stiff, looks better and stil sound quit with the shroud on instead of fx tensioner without shroud
There's no videos on how to remove the factory shroud and baffles. It's no doubt pretty simple procedure but it would be good to see it beforehand just in case there is something important to know first.

These videos always come out so long before the product is available.. I lose interest in the product by the time I can actually buy it. But this is exactly what I want for my impact. What’s the ETA on these?!
@@ernestrowe5061 unfortunately not while maintaining the shroud. Not that I’m aware of anyways. What I seen replaces the shroud with a skinny piece of carbon that looks silly and incomplete. Looks like the gun is missing something due to the obnoxious gap between the carbon and the scope rail. Your solution here is much cleaner and doesn’t look like a half finished product when installed.
@@ernestrowe5061 I am tuning a Maverick .30 cal so far mods that I have got include tungsten hammer, huma air dual air port trans., hammer spring upgrade for the maverick, Carbon fiber sleeve for .30 700mm barrel. I have always been a shooter of FX rifles but never attempted to tune one, but now I am. if you see any mods I need that I left out feel free to give me a list. The videos on youtube are spotty and not complete. I have 150 acres and the pigs are taking over I am looking to kill them more humane and with 1 shot so trying to get the FPE of the rifle maxed out. any wisdom you want to share or where I should start and with the best pellet. If I use a powder burner they stay gone and only come when I am not out, if I use my air rifles they leave and come right back with in 30 minutes.
Ernest Rowe i would like to have a 800mm barrel kit for the wildcat mk3 sniper and if possible the barrel tensioner kit to and when I'm at it the stock needs some improvements the butstockpad I wanted an upgrade for it and there is nothing on the market for the FX wildcat mk3 sniper I have the 22cal version with slug power kit already installed and would like to bring my wildcat mk3 sniper up to the next level please is there anything you guys at FX airguns can make our pas it on to someone that can I have more ideas to bring the airgun world up to the next level but no one hears me ow I almost forgot a monopod for the wildcat would be nice to I hope you see this message and can take it up from here please let me know if this reaches you to All wildcat owners please what do you think about this would this be something you would have to our am i the only one out here Greetings from the Netherlands
