Game Quickie - Stunts 

+rinrygamegame I highly recommend *TrackMania* (Nations OR United). TrackMania is pretty much Stunts "New And Improved", with things like booster panels, decorative pieces, and even loops! You also can build in the sky if you feel like it. That means if you fall off the track, you have to...go to the last checkpoint. Sadly, there are no crazy crashes. You can't even race against physical opponents. They are simply time trial ghosts. You can still play Multiplayer, in fact they have a "Ladder System" that is basically a leaderboard with perks. I have never tried the multiplayer (I suck at TrackMania), but I imagine it's *INTENSE*. There's also two versions: TrackMania Nations (free), and TrackMania United (paid). I only have TMNations, but I'm sure United's likely worth it. I think you would love TrackMania United OR Nations, and it's well worth installing!

Another blast from the past. This was the game you play when Wolfenstein would give you sore eyes.

This was one of the best games of the 90'. Great 3D game... classics. And my children birthdays parties

I played it in the 90s and it was so cool. I think my tracks floppy still exists. When I build tracks, then I put the start/finish line somewhere and start to build. I always ended up hacking my way back to the finish through already build parts of the racing track. Driving on the track was pure hell. Because when you jump to far you always land on another part of the track and don't know where you are.

Well this was a pleasant surprise. I haven't heard of this game in years and I remember playing it a lot back in the day.

I have SO much more respect for you now. I NEVER see anyone mention Stunts. But that's not it.. I REALLY never see anyone mention 4d Boxing. Not even people who review PC games. These games were INCREDIBLE. Countless hours playing both. You, mamn, are the fucking queen.

I played this game so much I loved it. I used to create all kind of crazy tracks. Glad to see other people actually know about Stunts.

Ok, I have to favourite this video because I never want to forget the name of this game again. My brother and I spent hours designing tracks for this game. As another poster put it "nostalgia bomb!"

I remember playing this game at a friend's house. He would go downstairs and I would build a (near impossible) track full of surprises. Then he would play it. This game was pretty impressive for its time.

I popped that game in again a few years back. And holy shit, I never realised the resolution was so terribly low. 320x200 makes Planescape: Torment look like iMax.

I remember playing this when I was younger. It was a lot of fun (ESPECIALLY making crazy tracks with the editor). The modern day equivalent to this seems to be "TrackMania United".

Used to love playing this game when i was younger :) I was really frustrated at how fast your car broke down i remember :D

Oh god. Thank you for reminding me of this game. I played a lot when I was a kid in my uncle's PC. It was damn awesome! :D Most of the time I was building crazy tracks with crazy loops that I could never finish xD

by the way, when I say it's freeware now, I'm not lying. It was OKed as abandonware/freeware by the dev/publisher in the mid 2000s so don't feel guilty about installing dosbox and popping it in.

Ah the memories. I spent hours and hours with the track editor. I remember one track i called "The Test" which was basically the mosy annoying and frustrating track ever. I just did everything in my way to make sure you could never gain any speed. Blockades, shark coners before loops that led into more blockades. My friends hated that track...i wonder why.

Anyone who is watching this and has never played it. This is one of those games that in this video looks pretty shitty, graphically, but average gameplay wise. The kind of game that, while skeptical, you feel you have to take their word for it. But trust me, this game is AWESOME. It's STILL awesome. It's one of those games that you just can't understand why it's so awesome until you just play it and FEEL how polished and ahead of it's time it is. Grab dosbox and try it, it's freeware now.

I think I played this game....If I remember correctly, if you get a time record it actually saves you driving the track...anybody else who tries to beat that record is actually racing against a "ghost" car of the record holder. I think that was in this game....wasn't it? This game made me remember another driving game for the 286 called Test Drive 3, one of the earliest games I can remember on the PC. BTW, great videos....love them. =)

gee how I loved it! I remember I used to create maps, record on a 5 1/4" disk and play at a friend's cousin PC! My maps were all called "vini #", from 1 to 389 lol I sugest some abandonware that I used to love, like Billy The Kid, Road Rash, Maniac Mansion..!

I remember this game having a rather annoying "copy protection". The game prompted the player to type a specific sentence from the manual, and inability to do so would cause the car to crash a few seconds after start. Otherwise this game had AWESOME graphics and incredible soundtrack!

@pocketmego I think hard drivin is the sequel who knows but yeah it looks alot like it i dont remember the details but i remember the glass cracking like that and the cars blowing up but it didnt have the different cameras

@pocketmego Looks like the same engine. Funny I just realized I owned a copy of Midway Treasures III for Gamecube which has Hard Drivin' on it. Now i find this instead.

hhahahaaha, love that game.... sometimes the car stayed in the air for minutes and minutes... :/ if u wanna try a "cool" game, try barbarian... use the dosbox like a 386, and plz, for just 1 time play the game with pc speaker XD aksjaksjaksjakjsas, so funny >< but its hell to control it :/ and try to do the alone in the dark serie... thats the true father of the survival horror games, plus u really had to think about some puzzles cya, srry the lame english
