Probably my favorite episode of the new season, it felt very informative and even had hints of that sense of discovery I loved about This Exists. The interviews also felt really integral to the insight on the community aspects and illuminating the motivations of the devs, interviews being the element of this series with the most potential for insight.

I'm surprised you didn't mention any of Paradox's sim games like Hearts of Iron or Crusader Kings, which are more of a middle ground between Civilization and these ultra-detailed sim games.
