Garmin transducer splash guard .. worth the money

My transducer was spraying water everywhere and soaking my outboard. I installed a splash guard and fixed %90 of the spray. I am satisfied

What is the point of these? Does it do anything for ypur data its collecting? Or is it just to prevent it from spraying?

Nothing to do with data the transducer throws a lot of spray on my outboard without

Hi, how is the result after installing the shield so far? I have the same issue with the same transducer.

It works! Water no longer hits my outboard or sprays high I can still see water spray but this greatly reduced my problem I would buy it again

Is that the tranducer 3m plate? How it holding up?

Yes the splash plate and the 3m plastic mount are still doing great
