Ultimately the biggest problem for ev's not being a Tesla, is the charging infrastructure. Electrify america is notoriously useless.

I remember when it was first released, some reviewers were calling it a compliance car & nothing less. I think it is clear now it is instead in contention for segment leader in the mid-lux x-over space. Terrific car with a compelling price. Thx for the vid. I enjoyed watching.

I have had my GV 60 in Canada for 22 months I have done 45K in km I cant fault the car , as for the interior in Canada they only come with the top of the line Nappa leather , I love mine the fit and finish is very good , I drove a Lexus before and the GV 60 is as good if not better .

As any working nurse can tell you, washing your hands 15 times a day can wear down your fingerprints to almost nothing. They had to do away with fingerprint med carts in favor of logins. Not to mention what happens to fingerprints after swimming, or if you've got paint on your fingers, or a carjacker just cut off your index finger to steal your car. Ugh.

That non rebate is a killer. Great video.

As an owner... You're TOTALLY wrong about the interior! The GV60 (as well as their other EV's) is 2nd to only a few right now, those being your Mercedes, & Porsche's of the world. Unfortunately, and I do agree that the Navy Blue interior option on the Performance, is, as it was for me, a total fail! The Ice Glacier White (or light beige) interior, serves notice that Genesis is a LUXURY brand, and not to be overlooked going forward. I have been a Lexus fanboy for years, having owned 6 (and still currently owning one), I've owned 2 Mercs, a BMW, and a Tesla Model S. And I honestly have to say I enjoy my Genesis (as a WHOLE) over all of them. From looks, to tech, to build quality, comfort, ride quality, and fun factor, yeah... It's super quick (even without using BOOST). Long story short... Genesis is onto something special!

If you're considering a Genesis, you might want to think twice. Reports suggest their customer service leaves much to be desired, especially for a luxury car brand. Plus, if your car needs repairs, be prepared to wait at least three months for it to be fixed.

Many of the Genesis features eventually spill into Hyundai and Kia vehicles but even if I would get the $7500 tax credits via reduced MSRP via a lease, it's still a cheap looking interior and not NACS compliant, which I would need in my State.

We took one for a test drive a couple of years ago. Internally it was about the same as a Leaf. Far too small for our family. Also I asked the price of the test car and it was over £70000! Crazy prices. The car was good to drive but no easier to park than our model X which is significantly larger. At current pricing the answer to "what new ev should you get" is definitely just get a Tesla, if they are totally out of budget and you can live with all the chimes and bing bongs then get an MG. Tesla superchargers are still a massive advantage here in the UK, where you are unlikely to find a charger faster than 60kw that does not have a queue, and superchargers are half the price of most of the competitors. My mate who bought a Taycan drove it for less than 1000 miles before selling it at a £20000 loss because he couldn't cope with the charging network. My mate with a Polestar uses it for local trips only, same with the family that bought the Kia Niro. Everyone I know who bought a Tesla has been able to use it as a sole family car quite happily ... Although some Teslas have some issues with build quality & reliability it seems to be getting better.

An expensive Hyundai. What is not to like? Until Kia/Hyundai have a longer track record, I'll pass. I've been burned by Kia with their poorly built Sedona minivan and even less well-built Sportage mini crossover.
