Welcome to this 3 part tutorial towards full splits designed to be practised in full 90 minutes for a home workshop experience or played individually so you can really focus on the parts you need.
Part 1 focuses on gentle stretching of the hamstrings and hip flexors to support the side and front splits we'll do in tutorials part 2 and 3. You can practise this video on it's own if you only have half an hour to spare, or work through all three parts if you want to delve deep into your splits practise.
In parts 2 and 3 we will work through a more dynamic vinyasa flow sequence focusing on building heat so that we may stretch deep into the hamstrings, glutes, hips and quads. We will then play with side splits, Upavistha Konasana and Full splits - hanumanasana.
