GSP is so fucking humble. Predicts the guy to win by guillotine, the guy wins by guillotine and he doesnt even say anything, just smiles. No "I TOLD YOU THAT WAS GOING TO APPEN!"
Shows GSP does his homework on each fighter. Cody McKenzie had won his previous 9 fights by guillotine in the 1st round. 13 of his 17 wins were guillotine (all but 1 in the first round).
While not even knowing the difference between a Nurse and a Paramedic 😂 then getting all butt hurt when Tait gave him some flack bad, talk about a thin skinned hypocrite 😂
@@myname-mz3lo Tait would have KOd him before a choke could be applied… JK shat himself when the big guy got up and in his face, he was NOT expecting a Medic to face up to him 😂
@@Tiger42s yea if you are under the age of 18 maybe 💀🤦♂️ no offense but those kind of insults are only funny to children and I don't even know the male nurses name
Man, with Caceres potentially coming back up those ranks, how amazing would it be if he did an Oliveira and suddenly moved through to title contention with time?
GSP is such a strange case as a fighter. Truly did it all, and stayed an absolute class act through everything. Must be role model for any aspiring athlete. Also, Koscheck is such a douchebro.
Idk I feel in the MMA world you need a few Koschecks, Hollands, Coveringtons, McGregors, people who can sell fights. George and Josh sold it all season, people wanting to see GSPs patience finally come to fruition in the fight, and see Koscheck get his mouth shut. Overall they couldn't have put 2 polar opposites in a room and it work out better.
@@Happy-ki6eo'd say Pena vs Nunes is a bigger upset because unlike Pena, Serra actually is a well rounded and skilled Martial Artist. The skill gap between Pena and Nunes is larger than Serra and GSP.
GSP is the most respected athlete to ever grace MMA. Bullied all his youth, and his most disrespectful thing to say is '"Im not impressed", which he apologized personally to Matt later. He deserves the GOAT award as he's lost, but has come back with more skills and energy than anyone else. Only other person I can think of as GOAT is Mighty Mouse DJ.
@@EdPrivatLMFAO 😂 Before he embraced his doom and shaved it all off. Dude was a domestic terrorist showing up to the gym with that hairdo like he wasn't missing 2/5s of his haircut to a bald spot
My take on that season of tuf is pretty much this: If your lucky enough to be on team gsp, you get.....world class training from an entire roster of professionals and an all around one of a kind opportunity to learn and tap into your potential. If you were condemned to team Koscheck, you pretty much have the playground bully making an ass of himself and his entire team...
You can really see that GSP got bullied in his youth. His body language when Josh picks on him says it all. The nervous laughter, looking to the ground, not really knowing what to say, accepting the "jokes".
Got to disagree, big time. At best there might have been some nervous laughter but he wasn't 'not really knowing what to say' or 'accepting the jokes', he was going to the dark place, throwing all that fuel onto the fire. Time and again, whether it was planting himself firmly and giving as good as he got from Bisping's seemingly spiteful verbal lashing (they respect/respected each other and Bisping has often said how he played it up for promo, but a victim would have probably crumbled under a Bisping onslaught), standing up for himself confidently against Dana's repeat bullshit or threatening to throw Koscheck's career into the downwards skid (which he did), GSP has always shown himself to handle bullies and aggressors with class, confidence and control.
What's interesting is how GSP didn't take any of that bullied mentality into his fights. In their second fight, Kos tried to say to the ref that he was lowblowed (he had a reputation of faking fouls) and GSP just shook his head and waved his finger as if to say, "get that weak shit out of here, man."
That season got me into MMA because I loved GSP's professionalism and how he coached his team. Also, Koscheck played himself, first by picking the wack fighters and using those wack mind games that psyched himself out instead of GSP, lol
GSP and his team are outstanding. You had Jackson, Danaher and GSP himself. Then Firas. I mean just a gang of thoughtful wells of knowledge and poise. And then the guest coaches were insane. I wish I had more people like that in my life.
Man GSP's superman punch was a thing of beauty. Just so clean and fluid. He had a grace when he threw. All fluid motion. GSP was one of the best fighters. Wish his career didn't get cut so short
This video shows why people consider him a goat. Not only an amazing martial artist, but great character, and he actually cares. Great guy, even if he did cheat against BJ Penn lol
My all time favorite fighter.. Nobody really came close to matching his absolute dominance in the cage until Khabib.. Freakish physical athleticism and strength + hyper focused dedication to complete technical skill mastery + the unstoppable stamina of a finely tuned machine, with the raw, calmly pounding heart of a lion.. I love how he was always humble, in victory and defeat, but came right back and avenged his losses to Hughes and Serra. He was destroying Koscheck too, controlling the whole fight. Kinda surprised he didn’t lead him into a head kick, like how he was circling and leading him right into those jabs. Guess he didn’t want to risk getting taken down..
that swollen eye and the accumulation of jabs and hooks, was as brutal as a head kick. you can tell every time the cutman tried to work on it, it hurt like hell
GsP could have given up...his losses were devastating to most. But he pushed and became such an effective fighter. His defense is where it's at. You can't touch him or pull him. He's one of the best ever.
George is SUCH a gentleman! This should be the standard on how a person conducts themselves. The world would be a better place if we were all like GSP! ❤
Wow! St.Pierre has always been one of my favourite fighters in my humble opinion pound for pound is the best mma fighter he's a legend champion and true martial arts warrior! That walks the path of a warrior and code peace love respect and honour! Also a nice kind humble person as opposed to Koschek who was a bully and all round nasty person that goes to show how not to conduct yourself or be in the end when your trying to hurt someone by being like that you only end up hurting yourself..karma
Genuinely gasped when it showed JK was 33, fella was acting 20 years younger. Hated not getting a reaction then started crying when someone stood up to him. What a gimp
Koscheck couldn't be any more immature. Starts beef with everyone and then says the medic is trying to get on his nerves, C'mon. As a coach, even a person in general he acts like a damn toddler. Us Canadians are proud of GSP because he's respectful and conducts himself well. That doesn't mean he won't mess you up.
Absolutely love your channel, really appreciate all these uploads. Am not knowledgable at all really but used to be a fan years ago and the past few days these have become really engaging, inspiring and relaxing for me. Question- even I know mazagatti is an absolute idiot, but am I wrong - the knockout at 23.56 - I swear mazagatti is all the way on the other side of the fucking octagon like he forgot his job and had to come running in like a headless chicken and fling himself over the fighter before the guy got a couple years of brain damage added. Or was that acceptable?
