Both were great athletes but GSP took the time to really master the technical and stratigic side of the sport while Kos just spammed overhead rights and doublelegs and never bothered learning footwork or defense.
GSP is secretly a smart dude. Was a huge ass and douche in the Quebec scene and was liked there cuz you know it Quebec. When he comes to America he becomes this nice down to earth dude so they would like him there
Lol. From one bad guy to another. They were both kind of a-holes during their career, but stand up guys in real life. Definitely got people interested though
@@KD-kl4sx Did you watch his fight interviews and press conference appearances when he was active? He was the type to get under people's skin. Similar to Kos in that regard.
Gsp’s calling that Guillotine choke and playing Josh on the team picks shows that grand master level strategy I would’ve been pissed to be on Josh’s team
Nam, the only fighter on Team Koscheck who won, was ignored and made fun of by Koscheck, because his personality matched better with GSP. I would've been pissed to be on Team Koscheck, and have my shot wasted by such a bad coach.
GSP is actually terrifying. A perfectly calm man who could turn on the killer switch the moment you pushed it too far. But he wouldn't lose his temper, he would methodically dismantle you.
@@davidcoleman5522 I do comprehend what he was insinuating but still, I do not agree with his initial comment. I only stated as such, that I personally do not find it "weird" hearing that. Anyhow, we digress.
@@kingmuizz708 that's how I see it Dude has to be in charge of a business where there are thousands of fighters all pumped up. And as we've seen they mostly act like children
@@nathanbalsiger2730 for sure, you could see it at one point they’re both laughing, guys fight or have scuffles when they get heated, plus it helps viewership of the show
GSP has such a good head on his shoulders. He's a true man. he doesn't seek after conflict, but when conflict seeks him he will put things in order. He is a master of his emotions.
I love how modest GSP was with his dudes.. telling them to respect the other guys and that he appreciates it but doesn’t need them to shit talk for him
Josh's team is one of the best if not THE best camp in MMA - American Kickboxning Academy. Khabib, Cain Velasquez, DC, Luke Rockhold etc came out of there.
The gap on support and training between team GSP and team Koschek is actually kind of sad. I feel bad for Josh’s guys having to train under him….especially when the other coach is the welterweight GOAT
Couldnt stand that guy that season. Talked so much shit about Bruce shouting during MJs fight. Then is annoying heckler during the coaches challenge lol
I noticed that lmao. Howled like a banshee, raced up only to completely freeze himself at the last minute just so (as always happens on TUF) someone can run up and tackle him from 'doing something to get him kicked off the show' and that's his cue to start screeching again. There's so many bitchy little prima donna lames on this show.
@@james_d_eaton Haha, totally. It is like watching the densest guy in the room assess himself as being so much more intelligent than anyone else, and proceed to prove it by outwitting himself focusing on a male nurse. Josh lost the minute he attempted to use his head, unable to outwit even his own ego with regard to the nurse, he literally couldn't let it go like somehow a male nurse was a personal insult. Just by the fact a guy who is a male nurse insulting him it somehow to Josh meant that GSP was trying to emasculate him and he couldn't handle it. Was almost my favorite part of that series, my favorite part was drunk Muay Thai coach, Jean-Charles, legit badass. Would have loved to see how quickly Jean-Charles could take Josh out with a single kick... but not what the UFC producers wanted I am sure, still would have been hilarious...
This just proves that GSP its not only a great fighter if not the best , but incredibly intelligent. Its not coincidence that the fighters he choose won most of the fights , how he played a Jedi mind trick to get the guys he wanted. You can also see how he is really humble and reserved to certain extent, teaching that to these guys definitely assuredly him the win.
Imagine being in the gym and having a chance to learn and absorb as much as you can by the great GSP and then Bam!. Josh Koscheck calls your name...I would be so bummed out
I wanna visit his weed farm resorts and smoke a fat doobie with him. Check out his joe rogan interviews if you haven’t. Mike really has had a rough life and came out a better man.
GSP one of, if not the best MMA fighter ever. The Balding guy (John Danaher) one of, if not the best BJJ instructor in the world. Greg Jackson one of, if not the best MMA coach's and strategist in the game. Freddie Roach one of, if not the best boxing coach in the world. Some pissed up fat lad (Jean Charles) one of, if not the best Thai fighter of a generation. One hell of a training camp!
Koscheck makes fun of a medic calling him a male nurse, and says “I think I won that one”. Until then he hadn’t won anything... 😂. He’s making his own battles to win to make up for losing so bad
The Mental dubs that GSP got this season were insane 😂 the Marc Steven's thing was amazing And jesus christ the level of training his team got from some of the greatest coaches in the world
@@matthewliambird I know this is a late comment but didn't Joshua retire and change career? He didn't do it because he lost a fight but just wanted to do a different life career.
GSP whispering "he's going to win by Guillotine" instead of saying it aloud is pure class, didn't want to let Cody's opponent know what the gameplan was or didn't want to put additional pressure on the kid or didn't want to claim credit and draw attention away from the performance. Pure Canadian class.
I'm super thankful for all this uploads brother, I'm in the process of withdrawing from my heroin and cocaine addiction and as of now I'm in day two of the process and your channel has been a blessing. God bless you man
11:07 Jean-Charles Skarbowsky smiling like: give me 20 seconds with him and i will make him cry i love how sweet Jean-Charles Skarbowsky looks LMAO but he's the true MVP there...
HAHA yes i thought the same thing specially in the thumbnail of the video funny thing is though that guy could kick are asses and we wouldn't even know what happened
@@eibbor171 haha hell yeah glad im not the only one that thought that. and shiiz no doubt bro i love gsp .and i done know he could fuck both of us up at the same time and i can hold my own ... honeslty i aint no bitch but that's a dude ima avoid fighting at all cost..i honestly wish he would fight again so bad
This season had some of the best coaches in MMA history. AKA and Jackson have 4 of the GOATs in MMA history and Danaher has teenagers beating world champion grapplers.
@hugo Stiglitz Ultra early stoppages? How much damage does a fighter have to take in a fight to satisfy you? You realize their entire career revolves around getting concussed right? A hell of a lot easier to watch the professionals take the damage than it is to actually get it.
