As I was listening to your tips on curation, it occurred to me that - for some topics - an article is probably best formatted to be easily scanned since that is the way a great many people actually read internet based information; by scanning for points of interest.
I wrote my first article. And I submitted my second to PS I Love You. Lets see what happens. You gave only 3 chances to get curated or you said its over. Oh gosh, Im super anxious I dont wanna be in the Curation Jail. 😅

Hi - I started watching all your videos from old to the newest in a row. Just a hind - the first link is no longer working. I also was search in the Medium - help section for curation guidelines. I couldn't find them.
Yeah alas they no longer tell you if it's been looked at already or not. If they do, you'll see a message like "chosen for further distribution" but nothing if they chose not to, or if it's still in the queue

Yep! This happens to me sometimes - for whatever reason, it's rejected by the pub I want to get it into. I can either submit somewhere else or publish myself.

Hey Zulie, you mentioned that we could email Medium if a story doesn't get curated. I published a story last week that I believe provides a lot of value and should be curated, but it hasn't been curated yet. I looked for an email that I could use to get in contact with Medium but I didn't find any. I can only submit a request on their support page. Is that what you mean when you say we can get in contact with Medium about a story, or is there a specific email that we can use? Hi Michael! Try tips@medium.com or yourfriends@medium.com. It's possible they've stopped looking at this (this video is pretty old, and I can't remember the last time someone did this) but at least you have a chance :)

I am not sure I'm clear on curation - you said pending. Do we actually SUBMIT our stories for curation? I'm sorry I'm lost - I thought I just sit and wait...? no? thanks!!!
Every time a story is published on Medium, it gets put in the queue for curation, where human curators check to see if it meets the guidelines. If it does, bam, curated in one or more topics! if not, it's shown to your followers, but not outside that circle.
Great content, sadly I am located in Panama, a third world country that Mediums partner program does not support. If you know though or anyone on here knows alternatives to Medium that maybe pay through paypal that would be of great help. Good video!
Thanks Johann! I'll keep my eyes and ears open - it's one of my biggest struggles with Medium, that they're not open to fairly rewarding writers for their work regardless of geographic location.
