@@Matt_bechillin You shouldn't question the only man in the comments to not use a god damn K in the spelling. In fact the word fracture didn't have a K in it 20 years ago and, as far as I know, does not today. The word frack is a faux curse word introduced by scifi television shows and was later assumed by radical environmentalists as the spelling for the abbreviation of hydraulic fracturing. Fracturing. There's no K in that.

Nice video. Spent about ten years out there. Started out salt water disposal operator. Roustabouted for the same co. Built well sites and built swd's. Maintained Old Wells. Changed belts, cleaned treaters, etc. got my CDL from said company. Delivered pipe to wo rigs and drilling rigs. It was a small oil company that had all their own in house stuff going on. I was around every aspect. Then I pumped Wells for a while for them also. Pretty much did whatever they needed. Then I left and worked on wo rig for a while. Then I hauled water...it was all a good experience but time to move on...politics were getting stupid. I spent a lot of time at fracs too. Sucking out baffles so they wouldn't freeze. Hauling in salt and fresh. Hauling in hot fresh...Hess, Halliburton, whiting, rogue, etc.

I am currently in the Army but I am getting out in January of 2024. I've been looking into jobs/careers for when I get out as I plan on moving forward and not backwards. I've been looking into the oilfield and I think I might go that route for the long term. I was wondering, since I have a wife (no kids) would It be easier to move her wherever the job is or to just fly/drive home during the 2 week off periods. I ask this bc I know it can be VERY costly to live in the oil field areas. Through some of my research I've seen many people have rv trailers on lots they rent. Also, is it hard to get a job in the oilfield? TIA
@falconconcepts
@falconconcepts Год назад
Best advice I can give is to NEVER move for an oilfield job. I fly/drive and so do all my guys. Some families have trouble with the away time during hitch but with your military background it should be an easy transition. Thanks for watching. More importantly, thank you for your service and everything you do!

@falconconcepts

There’s lots of work to do out of the red zone just check with your line boss and they’ll give you direction. Most operators will be running equipment while the red zone is active. When the stage is over and pressure is bled off the line, the red zone is no longer active.

I'm trying everything I can to get into the fracking. I'm framing houses and currently in NC. I'm been planning to attend a hiring event in midland TX on Feb 2 but it's for floorhand on drilling rig. I am recently divorced and no kids. Is your company hiring? I have 6 years as crane rigger on new power plants and refineries with lots of safety classes over the years. I wanna get in this and never look back. Can I contact you ? I've got references that will verify I go get it

Unfortunately, I can’t say who I work for on RU-vid. However, ProFrac has made several acquisitions this year and have been hiring like crazy. Definitely attend the job fairs as most companies will hire on the spot. Thanks for watching and good luck!

Hey I wanted to ask to see if you knew if profrac requires that you have a CDL to get hired? They are doing several hiring events coming soon and I am planning to attend. Is it a requirement that you know of? Also do you know anything about the background checks process? Does oilfield require like 5 or 7 years after convictions? I'm gonna fly out to Texas in February and am hoping to be prepared. If profrac doesn't hire me on are there alot of companies to be found in midland area to do direct apply at? Thanks in advance
@falconconcepts
@falconconcepts Год назад
@@jesseolsonsr3900 a CDL isn’t always required but will severely limit your growth with Frac unless you go into maintenance. I’m not sure how far they pull for background checks. If it isn’t recent, it typically isn’t a problem

Starting pay for grunts? What are the best websites to search jobs?
@falconconcepts

Starting pay is usually $20-$25/hr depending on the company. Indeed and Rigzone are the best places to search online. Google oilfield hiring event and attend some of them. If you are new to the industry, hiring events are worth their weight in gold.
