On its own, siopao is delicious...a dumpling which may contain asado or adobo. It is eaten with a sauce. It,s dough is similar to puto and is cooked in the same way - steaming. There are recipes online

Mama Olga is right. We do have pandesal with minced meat inside (asado pandesal). Traditionally we eat pandesal with cocojam, but now, with butter, jam, cheese, any spread available, or even adobo. Also, Mr Masarap is now Chef Masarap 😂

Andrei have you tried Julie's Bake shop in Davao. Please try next time, they have this bun with meat inside they call it MEAT ROLLS. The meat inside is corned beef I think it's really good to try.

You are correct Lisa .. you can eat pandesal with butter and different kinds of jams such as orange marmalade, strawberry jam, etc. and others like scrambled or sunny side up egg in the morning, bacon, ham and others ,
