That’s really a scary thing about aizen too damn powerful because what he said is true it’s not his sword ability made Espadas follow his orders, it was because his power was already ridiculous and the fact he was hiding it through all his time, just waiting for the correct time to attack. I always imagined Aizen as being similar to Arancar War Ichigo in Reiatsu level. IE, 3 times the riatsu of a normal captain. But unlike Ichigo, Aizen had ruthless ambition to drive him and well over a century to master his power. In base Aizen, we see Ichigo's potential had he kept that Shikai/Bankai.

Aizen was so damn scary in that episode. Like all the brutal villians are okay but the fact that he kills with no emotions or hesitation and is completely cold is damn scary

Powerful Espadas is a bit too much of a compliment for them. Considering how strong the soul reapers are now, the probably never stood a chance without Aizen.

The thing is a lot of people seem to not understand that Aizen is the most heavily nerfed character in the show. Aizen is literally perfect, his reiatsu is twice as big as any other captain, his base stats are leagues ahead the others, he is the second smartest in the show but unlike Kisuke, Aizen doesn't have morals and will do anything to achieve his plan. The moment you are under KS it's game over, if Bleach wasn't a shonen and everybody wasn't protected by plot armor (especially Ichigo) then Aizen could have simply beheaded everybody and be done with it. Kubo had to nerf Aizen constantly and prevent him from just slaughtering everyone just for the others to stand a chance, he even made a genius such as Aizen become ''arrogant'' and drop his IQ and prevent him from using KS just for the sake of making up some stupid excuse for Kisuke to plant a seal in him and give Ichigo his asspull FGT to have a chance of defeating Aizen. Kubo can't even give Aizen a bankai because he is already way above everyone else just with a shikai. Aizen is a great character but was wasted on Bleach because Kubo keep putting him down and giving Ichigo all the spotlight, even during the Yhwach fight, Aizen somehow have a change of heart and become a good guy like what? Kubo can't even think of a backstory for Aizen because he knows he already fked up and if he do write one it will be subpar and everybody will hate him for it.

Aizen isn't scary cause he can use Kyoka Suigetsu, Kyoka suigetsu is scary cause Aizen is the one using it. If it was an ordinary captain level soul reaper, Kyoka suigetsu ritual would have to be shown everytime and it would not be possible to keep so many people under its illusion. Funny he mentions the earth splitting as if the physical earth splitting would even matter when Hell, Soul Society, Hueco Mundo and even the Soul King's Palace are like different dimensions that would most likely keep existing even if the physical earth of the Human World would split.
