Like a dumb stupid young 21 year old, I was walking home alone from a party to my dorm room in NYC late at night, not thinking anything of it. I didn't even have the excuse of being drunk or anything. And a guy started walking behind me. I was relatively close to my dorm, which had a door man inside at all hours, so I thought I'd be fine so long as I made it there. He caught up with me first though, speeding up when I sped up, and he grabbed my arm, and I don't know what I was thinking, but I just remembered that you can sometimes scare dangerous people off by acting insane. I can't remember exactly what I said, but I know I SHRIEKED at the top of my lungs, something along the lines of like, "I am a disciple of the moth god! To touch me is to to harm him! He will rain fury upon you for this slight!" Something utterly wild. I think it was moth god. Maybe butterfly god. I don't know lol. But yeah, sure enough, dude dropped my arm and stumbled back a couple steps. I just gave another top of my lungs shriek, wordless this time, and leaned towards him and he just booked it. Sprinting away from me like I was the bad guy lmao. Of course, took the opportunity to turn around and do my own sprinting - to my dorm. Was terrified in the moment, but I can certainly laugh about it now.

So, criminal psychologists say if you're in a position where someone is trying to kidnap or assault you, start acting nuts and piss, vomit, shit on yourself if possible, eat grass, mumble nonsense, drool! Anything to make yourself unappealing and as nuts as possible. History shows that crazy people are pardoned, crazy people are unpredictable and your attacker will be thrown off guard along with you not fitting the type of victim they're looking for. I can write a lot more on this, but maybe just do some research on the subject, carry some type of weapon, try to travel in groups, always keep your head and shoulders up ( don't look meak or scared) and always keep your wits ( like do not walk around fucked up, your the best target inebriated) God gave you instincts, don't ignore them or feel bad for acting on them. Stay Safe Y'all 🙏

@@ReniTube Well, I meant like once they get aggressive, like corner you, if they're trying to drag you into their car, etc. I'm not a criminal psychologist, but you know, as soon as you feel like you're in danger, and outmatched, like he's huge or there are 2-3 of them and you're outnumbered, this could be used as an option. Sometimes the struggle is what turns them on, so if you know you can not over power them, girl, go as bat- shit crazy as possible!!!!! I don't know if it was in this video, but there was a girl who said when the attacker jumped on her and tore off her clothes, she pretends to enjoy it, and moan, he stops immediately!!!! One, she threw him off guard, Two; she wasn't the victim he was wanting, he was hoping to dominate and scare, hurt her, but she shows the opposite and he like did a 180, completely flipped, he stops assaulting her, makes conversation, then asks if he could walk her home. Kudos to her for being so quick thinking and being able to pull it off. I'm glad you're concerned about your safety!!! Take care Honey 💪😘💜

This reminds of this one serial killer. Can't remember who, but they were a pretty famous one I think, in the USA. He was caught and when interviewed, one of the reporters asking him "Was there a time you came close to being caught?" and he spoke of a time when he had just killed someone/was disposing of a body at night in an area where people go hiking, and this couple came by and the guy either did or almost did trip over the body, either way the couple got bad vibes and left. The couple he talked about heard this interview and realised it was them several years before and were like "omg we almost died that night". It's uncanny how often something like this happens. Can't imagine it would be a pleasant realisation.

This actually happened a few months ago, so it makes it even scarier for me; I was dressed up really nice to go see a concert with my roommate at the time (Yung Gravvy concert if youre curious) and I had broken one of my platform heels I decided to wear that day, started limping around. Eventually I got fed up and told my roommate "I'm gonna go to the mall, get some new shoes real quick, I'll meet with you in 10" and went to this big like, three story mall. Now, I want yall to keep in mind this was BROAD daylight, VERY public and bustling place. I go up this escalator looking around for a shoe store and this guy was leaning against the railing of the floor I was going to. INSTANTLY the vibes were off and I felt incredibly uncomfortable. He starts following me, telling me how beautiful I look, how "a pretty thing like me shouldnt have to walk alone anywhere", obviously being creepy as hell. Im clearly trying to put some distance between us and he catches on and reaches out to catch my arm, and I BOOK it. I dont care where I'm going, I'm just running and this guy yells that I'm a bitch and he won't take such disrespect, and I'm not thinking, running/hobbling off of broken heels and pure adrenaline. I see this store (Francessca's, I love that store outside of this story and now I love it more), and Im panicking looking around and this lady behind the register comes up to me and asks if she can get me anything and I tell her this guy is following me. God bless this girl because she takes me back to a dressing room and gives me some hats and when the guy comes in saying "his daughter ran off" she straight up points to another door and says theres an employee lounge I went through to get in there. He leaves and this woman helps me get some shoes ( I still have them, some really nice black and white boots) and walks me to the doors of the mall and tells me the quickest route back to my car and gives me cash to pay a ticket to a parking garage nearby in case he follows me. God BLESS that woman, she was probably the only reason I still had a good time that day and still went to the concert.

When I was 19 I was working at Subway and I was closing the store (alone) and then had to take the last bus home. The bus was pretty empty because it was so late, and this dude came and sat right beside me and started talking to me. He was very kind and we talked a bit and he rapped a song he had made for his mom, which I thought was sweet (and it was pretty good). Anyway, he got off the bus when I did and told me he was going to walk me to my door, which I thought was weird but he didn't give me any bad vibes so I was like, "Okay whatever." Though I was on alert just in case my intuition was wrong. It turns out that he had noticed a different man had been watching me and following me and so he just wanted to make sure that I got home safely. His name was Sagatay (I'm not sure how to spell it) and I appreciate that dude so much.

Notice that the op had a very open ended question... She asked, "Tell me about a time when your quick thinking probably saved your life." Out of all of these women in the 3 parts of this series... no one mentioned a hiking/camping incident and running into bad weather or a dangerous animal, having a mechanical issue, or anything else... However, THEY ALL RESPONDED with stories about MEN!!! And I do agree with Ender Ponydragon, the men who helped them and knew enough about the situation to stop them from getting hurt deserve massive respect!!! @@Ladyofdeath777Weaversoftheweb tbh i think men have weird moments were women touch them without their wanting but they obviously can protect themselves easier and they usually won’t say much even if it happens. Ik at the nightclub, a girl in the queue and her friend were touching male’s asses trying to talk with them for a bit and skip line. Did it to me as well and tried to talk and slowly move past and do it to next people after convo. I had the convo but I didn’t let them move past, didn’t complain about the touch even though I didn’t give consent or even know her when she did it, but yeah some women do that weird stuff they just cant escalate coz they dont have the physical means to withhold a man or force them for more stuff even if they wanted. But those small things are done and where a man would be shunned for touching a stranger woman’s ass, a woman usually won’t for doing it to a man. Btw one of the dudes said she had a bf, so she was touching dudes on their ass to skip a line and had a bf, thats so weird imo.

Deoderant sprays are also really good if pepper sprays or other defensive sprays are not allowed where you are. You can also buy necklaces and bracelets that can be used as knuckle dusters (some even have spikes 😃) or are concealed knives for camping/defense. I saw one once that was a Swiss army knife bracelet/watch thing for camping, it had a compass, a knife and something or two other things, I don't remember, but I thought "If I get kidnapped that would be great to have". Portable phone charger, a lighter, spray deodorant and keys are handbag necessities far as I'm concerned.

*This is in reference to the story of the 17-year-old girl who's car was low on gas and ended up going on E while she was driving around in circles in her neighborhood trying to get the dude to stop following her. A lot of people don't know this but almost all cars, especially all new cars, but most cars just in general, actually have backup miles. It depends on the car and the year of the car but you have typically anywhere from 10 to 20 back up miles of gas in your car, so obviously when you hit E you should get gas immediately as to not use those backup miles unless you absolutely have to, but your car is not going to just dead stop when you hit E because you do have those 10 to 20 back up miles of gas! Just some food for thought if anyone's ever in a situation like that, so keep that in mind!*

I was coming out from my gynecologist appointment. It was in the 5. floor or something. I went into the elevaitor where I was alone first. I pressed the button for the ground floor to make my way out of the building. Quickly it made a stop tho and a man entered too. I don't get scared quickly, but I directly knew that something is completely wrong. He started then to get furious and screaming while standing with me in the elevaitor blocking the way out. He screamed at me that he hates all women. The tension and aggression was at a maximum level. He continued screaming that women are all shit and other things about them which I forgot. During that he came as close to me as he could, standing directly in front of my face. Then he put his hand up like he was about to slap me in my face. I was sure he would beat me now since we were both alone in this elevaitor, the elevaitor still going down. My instinct was to give him right on everything he said. I picked up on my gut feeling really quick and started lying as good as I could reassuring him: "Yes!! You are completely right, it's really like that! I am so sorry for you!" And he looked at me still angry but he went out of my personal space. He put his hand down again and stepped back, looked on the floor for a second and then aggressively went out of the elevaitor because luckily it made it's next stop. I was alone now and frozen and after I finally reached my stop at the ground floor as well, I ran out of that building, my heart beating so fast. I was looking behind me if he was there but he wasn't. Since then I took the stairs and I didn't want to go in an elevaitor again for the next 2 years.

Can you use spray deodorants or hairspray or anything like that? If so, carry one. You can spray them in the eyes and use the can to hit them in the face if need be. You can also buy necklaces and bracelets online that can be used as knuckledusters or knives as they are made for defense or some camping supplies are actually wearable gear like compasses and knives for if you don't have time to grab one out of your bag you can just take your bracelet and, boom, knife! Look into what you're allowed where you are as some places you can have knives but others sprays are banned. RU-vid has a lot of videos teaching techniques and tips by trained people if you can't do self defense classes in person. Like tutorials on how to break out of a hold from behind or what to do if you get pinned and don't know how to fight. Even if you never have to use these things, it can be incredibly reassuring to have them anyways. As someone with anxiety, I find having plans for hypothetical scenarios helps me keep a cool head, like "If I get followed on the street what do I do?" and just plan out a couple ideas like a fake phone call or something. Hope nothing like this ever happens to you again, but hope this helps you feel more safe.

This has probably saved my life without me knowing it. If someone ever walked up to you and starts a conversation like ‘Hey girl o haven’t seen you in a while!’ /always/ play along (unless it’s one of those sketchy people) and of course never walk alone! Just don’t, /especially/ at night. And for those of you who have dogs (big or small) if someone tries to break in or approach’s you Act as if your dog is aggressive and tightens the leash tell them leave it and warn the approacher, this one has personally saved me when I was younger. Another thing is when your living in a neighborhood and have the chance of being alone /always/ have houses in that street that you will run too, I have 4 and each depends on the situation, if I’m being chased we go for the one across the street or the two houses next to me. If I have gotten out of the house and the person inside is searching we bolt for the end of the street where a family that I know pretty well lives, and if I’m in danger I go to the end of the street to another neighbor I know well, they also have a (Akita) dog so if I am in danger she is trained to attack. Hope this can save lives!

One day, two of my friends, my sister and I went to shop to Walmart. We were walking around, talking, joking, when my sister comes close to me and whispers “someone is following us.” Naturally, I turn around and see this dude behind us in the beginning of the aisle, and when he sees me looking at him, he turns around and leaves. Then we notice that two more guys keep glaring at us, walking around, not really buying anything. I told the same to my friends and we are all alert at this point. We decide to keep walking to confirm we were being followed, and we were. It was several guys, around 4. At that point, I thought they were a group of traffickers or something of the kind. I tell my friends to stop and send our live location to our family members and friends, so we did. Then we went to one of the Walmart workers and let him know the situation, who then took it to the manager and then another manager. They asked the men to leave and we asked one male worker to walk us to our car. We get to our car and drive to another store, to make sure we were not followed. We stayed there, checked the car for any signs of a tracking device and when we were sure we were safe, went home

I think it's important that people step in and help each other. My work (as did a few others I had in the past) doesn't care about employee safety at all. If you're scheduled to work til 10pm you have to work til 10pm on the dot. If you leave a few minutes early you get marked up for it. So one night I was scheduled to work til 9pm and told the boss again that the buses reduce at night so I'd have to wait an hour for the bus to arrive. She we got paid crap I didn't have a car as I preferred to pay my rent... So I walk the 30 minutes to my bus stop in creepy ass downtown. I get there finally and take my book out to read. Then I feel someone watching me. I look up and this car is inching along, passenger just staring at me. Car stops. I start walking away really fast. and the car turns around to follow. I change direction, car changes. I ran two blocks, running across the street etc. I see a parked cab so I ran across he street again and jumped in, I was safe. So the next day at work I tell this tory and my coworker looks angry. He gets up, marches over to the boss and started yelling at him. This quiet, reserved guy flipped out on the boss- pointing out how we've mentioned safety concerns time and again. The company started allowing us to have cab vouchers...but only if we work til midnight. So...almost a win? Grateful my coworker stood up for me but I know so many people that have shift work and are in the same position. Some buildings don't have parking so they have to walk six blocks...other people like me take the bus. Employers don't care and I wish there was a law where they could be held accountable (some form of negligence?) if we get mugged or raped... I do remember a manager whining about a woman getting a cab voucher even though she lives 5 blocks away. I flipped out on them pointing out that I've had creeps approach me half a block from the building & that a few guys have been mugged 5 feet from the doors.

Petty theft. And my uncle saw him on the news a while later and told his dad about it that his family was like “so you led a serial killer to your sister and her kids?” And thankfully he wasn’t interested in her, not sure if she met him or they even saw each other. I’ve never been able to ask. I believe he had been given a ride from somewhere in Georgia, to Florida. It was like a ten hour ride and he said that he was going that way anyway so it was cool if my great uncle tagged along.

He started talking to us and said something along the lines of "don't tell anyone I'm here ok, I'm not supposed to be here" and the older kids were very obviously put of by this and they stood in front of me. One of the guys I was with suggested that we walk to his house to get like a basket ball or something so we started walking. (This house was really close to the park basically across from the street , other houses were sort of like a longer walk away) the drunk guy started following us and we told him that we were going to pick up snack from 7-11 (sorry the so many notes but there was lots of corner stores around my neighborhood because I lived in a really busy place) and he started walking there and we booked it to my friends house and stayed there for a bit until like around 8:30 and they walked me back to my house (my house was the farthest from the park)

My story isn't that bad but it did make me eternally scared of the male species. It happened when I was maybe 11 or 12. I was in the grocery store with my mom. She was a little bit away from me and like the kid I was I was just playing around with the bubble in the damaged floor (they still haven't replaced the flooring btw) Anyways as I was there I wasn't paying attention but suddenly this older man who was maybe 40 came up and put his hand on my shoulder. He just said hi but even as a kid I knew something was very off about him. Just his face and everything. I quickly ran to my mom and we left the store. Another incident happened when I volunteered at my church. We were just working in a parking lot and I was left to clean up with my brother and mom. After we finished we got in our car but this man pulled up. Long story short he looked creepy. We called the cops because he was asking for a place to stay and he was like "Can I stay here" (it's a church so yk they help people sometimes) Anyway when the cops arrived they checked his license and it didn't say what he told us his name was. The police then told my mom that he was one that they were looking for and he was wanted for several things. LIKE WHAT!? That was scary.

When I was 11 (I'm 13 now) I was at my friend's for a sleepover. She started throwing up overnight so her dad asked me to go with him to get medicine. Her dad was shady. His breath reeked of alcohol and his clothes stained with the smell of smoke. I said I wanted to stay home, but he ignored me and practically dragged me to his car. When we got in the car, I noticed he had a lot of weapons in a bag, knives, tazers, etc. When we got to the chemist, he gave me $20 and ordered me to go in. Thank God there was a deaf woman in the store. She was signing to her daughter when I walked in front of her, and did the AUSLAN (Australian sign language) sign for help behind my back. She saw me and tapped my shoulder, asking if I was ok, and I signalled to her that I'm in danger and need help. She took me to the receptionist and I explained what was happening. The deaf woman and her daughter took me to my friend's father's car, and I said that the deaf woman is my aunt, and she had told me it's better if I go home. My friends father agreed, unreluctantly, and I drove home with the deaf woman. When I told my parents, they called the police and the man was arrested. He is still currently in jail, not only for my attempted rape/murder, but he had raped 3 other girls aged 12-16. I'm endlessly thankful to the woman and her daughter, as who knows what would have happened if they didn't help. I'm also glad I know sign language, because if I didn't, I could be dead now. My friend and I were in a very busy mall when we were maybe 14-15 years old. This mall had a reputation for shady things and SA cases. My mom, being an EMT, was very wary of letting us go to the mall because she would hear and respond to calls of really messed up incidents that were never reported publicly because the local government didn't want to lose revenue from a mall that was deemed dangerous. So my friend and I were approached by a short, heavy, 40- something year old bald man. I don't know why we carried out a conversation with this man, but something didn't feel right especially when he wanted us to leave the busy area we were at to join him on the roof. My friend and I looked at each other, sharing the same gut feeling that something was wrong, and we both pulled our phones out-she was going to call the cops and I tried to take a picture of the man. This short fat man turned away so fast, his head looked like a bowling ball as he ran through the crowd and disappeared. That same month we heard stories of girls getting drugged and assaulted on the roof, and a woman who was brutally attacked in the parking garage. We still would go to that mall as teenagers, but now as an adult I hate it.

@@dumpsterrat9078 Well, technically, no. The Lord Jesus Christ who created mankind said there are two sexes: man and woman. Science agrees with Him. There are only two chromosomes, x and y, that determine each individual’s biological sexual makeup. You’re either xx, which makes you a female, or xy, which makes you a male. You cannot change reality. You cannot change the truth. Believing in a lie will cause great problems in your life.

@MRoque-vt9ef
@MRoque-vt9ef Год назад
@@dumpsterrat9078 okay, let me bring it to you this way. Doctors have no say in who is male or female. That’s on God alone. He determined your sex too, whether you accept that or not. Your beliefs don’t make the truth null and void. You’ll find out soon enough. Just please remember this conversation in the near future when things on this earth will be more horrible than they have ever been. Jesus has told us about it all thousands of years ago. First, all of the true born again Christians will disappear suddenly. No matter what lie the leaders of this world come up with, we were taken home to be with the Lord Jesus. He actually came and got us! Those of you left behind will have very little time to get saved. God’s wrath is going to pour out onto this earth and most of the people will die. It’s all outlined in the Bible, with most of it being explained in the books of Revelation and Daniel. All you have to do to be saved is believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Know that you are a sinner who deserves to go to hell, but God made a way for us to be saved from His wrath in hell through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. Believe that the Son of almighty God, who was born of a virgin and lived a perfect sinless life, died the horrible death that we deserved on the cross, was buried according to scriptures, and arose on the third day according to the scriptures holding the keys to death and hell as King of kings and Lord of lords. Believe that and be saved from eternity in the lake of fire suffering God’s wrath. Do not let them put ANYTHING into your forehead or hands! That will immediately damn you, making it impossible for you to ever be saved! And never reject or deny Jesus Christ, even if your life is threatened. Denying Him in front of men will cause Him to deny you before His Father in heaven. So many horrors are about to happen on earth, do not ever give up! Read a true KJV/NKJV Bible and hide them in many places because it will educate you on the amazing plan of God from the beginning and teach you about who He is, what He expects of us, who our true enemy is (hint: it’s not you and me), and how you can protect yourself and those you care about! I love you all and don’t wish to argue with you. We aren’t enemies. Satan is. He hates us more than we can ever understand! His goal is the hurt God, and He thinks he can do that by taking as many of us with him and his minions to hell as possible. Unfortunately, he’s been very successful at doing that. I see that you don’t believe in God right now, but I ask you to ask Him to show you the truth. What do you have to lose if He doesn’t exist? I don’t have any problems speaking to anyone with questions about this stuff, as long as the conversation is respectful. Satan has been causing confusion in the world amongst people about who they are and who God, their creator, is. It’s sad. I am in the medical field and understand the biological science behind human development. There is only man and woman. Male and female.

So I have one LONG story -sorry, that was half quick thinking, half pure luck. It was my first time living alone, (far)away from my parents and I was 18 at the time. I lived in an apartment that was on the 1st floor of the building and there was a terrace that connected to my apartment, so anyone that had access to the terrace could enter my apartment. Before anyone says I'm nuts for living there, the neighborhood was kinda safe and the terrace was monitored by cameras, so for the first 10 months living there I didn't really feel scared. It was a Friday, I only had classes in the evening so when my 8AM alarm rang I gave myself another hour just to be lazy. I didn't sleep but I was inside my room with the door closed when I heard a strange sound coming from my living room. At first I thought "Nah, it must be nothing" but my paranoia said "It can be some electrical malfunctioning, go see just to be sure" (that was what I was most worried about, my house catching fire due to electrical issues). Here I'm going to put some really important information: I wear glasses and I can see only blurs without them. My glasses were inside the bathroom (my room was a suite), but I didn't take them (I really thought it was nothing). So I opened my room door and I saw a person in my living room, I couldn't recognize his face, I couldn't identify what he was wearing, but I knew it was a person and I could figure that was a GUY. I closed the door, locked it (all my doors had keys) and freaked out. After calling my father (that could do nothing because he lived 3 hour away by plane) and calling the police (that couldn't do anything because they didn't want to), I exited my room to see if the guy was still there. First thing: I went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, then I looked through the whole apartment. I didn't see anyone and I found some footprints heading out to the terrace so I was sure I was alone. Now, remember I was being lazy after my 8AM alarm? Now my 9AM alarm was ringing, so I knew that this had happened between 8:30 and 9:00, keep this info. I then heard someone in the hall cleaning it, I opened my door really scared and and saw the cleaning lady there. I told her what had happened and she asked me if I saw the guy, I said 'No, I wasn't wearing my glasses' and she told me she would call the janitor to see if he had seen something through the cameras. The Janitor appeared 5 minutes later, asked me what happened, looked at the footprints, calmed me down, said that he would show me the cameras to see if there was someone in the terrace by the time it happened. After he left, I did the things I had to do and got ready to meet a friend that would take me to a precinct only to waste my time - no hate to police officers in general, but the ones in this story were worthless. So when I was leaving my building I stopped by the security room. The Janitor was there and I asked him if he could show me the footage like he "promised" earlier. So he started showing footage, from 8AM, then from 8:10, then from 8:20... and then he stopped and said "well there wasn't anyone there by this time". In my mind I was like "well, I said that I probably saw the guy between 8:30 and 9AM, but you are only showing me footage from before, obviously nobody will be there", however I had a feeling I shoudn't confront him so I played dumb, thanked him for the help and left with a weird sensation. I will just jump to Saturday night so the story won't be too long. We had two security guards that worked the night shift, they would take turns working and the one I was most close with didn't work Friday, only Saturday, that's why the jump. I arrived home and when I saw him I had a feeling I could trust him, so I told what happened the day before and asked if we could see the security cameras. He showed exactly what I asked for and we saw the Janitor at the terrace by 8:40 (we couldn't see him entering the apartment, only that he was there) then the footage went black and he saw that someone had deleted it. The only person who knew the password to delete the footage was... I don't need to say right. This guard even landed me a taser so I could feel more secure, and even taught how to use it. Summing up, I didn't feel more secure, I freaked out alone at home, I couldn't sleep at all, however I was really grateful that he helped me. The next day I packed my things and went to a distant cousin's house that lived nearby and my father took the first flight Monday to see me and help me solve the situation. So, I'm sure it was the Janitor. The apartment manager (that was out of town during all of this), recovered all the footage and like I said the camera didn't catch him entering my house, but we later saw the janitor running down the stairs at like 8:50AM looking really worried like something had happened, him putting on a jacket (to look different) before going to talk to me, staring in a creepy way when I was walking the street leaving the building after seeing the footage w/ him, and other things I won't remember. The whole staff was changed (I lost the guard I was fond of) and things were somewhat solved. And after all this ended I kept thinking how not wearing my glasses when opening the door, playing dumb when he didn't showed me the footage and relying in the guard I felt most confortable with were the best choices I could have made, because I don't know if he would have done something with me if he knew that I recognized him or that I was suspicious of him.

I got like 30 meters on my way and I noticed the man started following me,i was happy that my friemd was safe, but confused why on earth would he pick me, until I noticed that the look I was wearing on the outside wasn't as scary as usually, more cutesy since I was wearing winter clothes and pink long hair, also I am 5 f tall and weeks worth of crogeries on to hold. I tried speeding up my walking and the man macthed my speed but kept the distance and everytime I would look over my shoulder he would try to hude or look occupied. I was terrified, thinking all the possible worst case scenarious in my head, fearing for my safety. I speed walked as fast as my little legs would go with all the crogery bags on my arms. I got to our building, I needed to open the building door with my keys and the time it took me to do that the creep hid in the trash bin area. I ran up to our apartment and didn't put the lights on so the creep wouldn't see where I lived. After I got inside our home, I let go of the croseries, checked that the door was locked and just crumpled on the floor crying and shaking. I checked out of a dark window and the creep was still there on the trash area looking for lights In the apartments. This was the first time and it happened couple more times. After that I would carpool to work, wear more masculine style out, always have hairspay, lighter and other things with me, leave with other people if I could. We found a New place to rent couple of miles away, and it stopped after that. The worst part was not knowing if would be safe or not, I had nightmares where I would get killed and my body scattered In the woods and playground In front of our building,and that's not the worst fate,but I still get random images of my pink hair tuffts and bodypieces scattered there. Also the people around me whom I told about this where either supportive or like my therapist at the time horrible, she said it was not a concern since he didn't do anything to me, like stalking isn't a real thing with reprecussions In real life,also only questions she asked was what color of his skin was, to justify her own racist ass bulshit about people of color, needles to say that therapist was trash and is an ex therapist for a reason.

Honestly, I could listen to “I was almost trafficked at Disney” tell stories all night. And, the girl who was almost grabbed in Turkey can illustrate with facial gestures. This thread should make men more sensitive to the dangers of just being a woman. Sadly, even those most feminist guys think we are just exaggerating!

Y‘all I have a similar story I grew up in a relatively small town in Central Europe. Like really small (abt. 3000 people). I was 12 years old and I had just gotten off the bus at my stop after my piano lessons that day. I notice this car come up to me and stop and like so many other girls I got a terrible feeling in my gut. This guy with sunglasses on asked me to get in his car and show me where some kind of address was. He was middle aged and he just made me feel so uncomfortable and gave me the creeps.I pretended that I wasn’t from there and preceded to run towards my house and I was actually screaming internally. Luckily my house was only a couple of meters away from the bus stop. But seriously, what middle aged man would ask a child to get in his freaking car like wtf there had to be something wrong with that, right? I actually hesitated, even though my instincts where telling me to bolt. I never expected that something like that would happen to me, in such a small, rural town. I guess I am really lucky because it could have been way worse like some of these other stories from other girls. Seriously, stay safe. If you feel like something isn’t right, don’t hesitate and run as fast as you can.

I was homeschooled as a kid and my only personal time was taking a walk in the park/trail near where I lived. It was near main st which had a few bars. It was just me and a few boys around my age, but I noticed a man kept walking past where I was sitting. I got a weird feeling so I decided to get up and leave but before I can go he comes over and sits down across from me and just starts talking to me. I was really young and naive so I just waited for a good time to try and politely leave. But when I did he gets up and insists on walking with me. I agree and we walk for about 20 mins talking. It sounds stupid but I had no one in my life at the time, so while I was still trying to leave safely, I was also kind of happy to have someone to talk too. A 20 or something yr old stopped and talked to him, when she looked at me I could tell she didn't like this situation either but she just talked to him for a min and kept going in the opposite direction. Eventually we got to a more secluded section of the trail and slowly gripped my hand as if we were on a date, I kept my hand loose and even tried to pull away but he kept a hard grip on my hand. After about a min of just walking hand and hand he stopped, looked down at me and said "What would you do if I kissed you right now" I was terrified I could hear my heart beat in my eardrums and I knew that if he wanted too he could pull me into the trees behind us and do whatever he wanted to me. I looked at him calmly and said "I wouldn't let you" he laughed at me and said "what could you do" so I just said the first thing that came to mind and said I'd kick him in the balls. He walked me half way home and made me tell him which apartment complex was mine, and he watched me walk away. I walked the long way back to my apartment hoping he'd think I was lying. When i got home I was screamed at by my stepfather for acting like a slut while my mom just stood there. They confiscated my phone bc I hadn't called anyone and I was grounded for 2 weeks. I was only 15 and I didn't leave the apartment again after that... only now starting to forgive myself for my stupidity that day lol

I got kicked out of a bar because I got into it with my friends boyfriend. My boyfriend(her brother)knocked her boyfriend out. I remember throwing my food at him and getting kicked out. I got mad and flagged down the police. They dropped me off at a gas station a few blocks from my house. While I’m walking home.. cars are honking at me. I saying F you and middle fingering men driving pass. Before I turn on my block (this is how I know God is real) something inside of me is like, “call cinnamon” It was like a tiny voice inside of me. I called my sister all drunk and hung up. She was on her way downstairs as I turned onto my block. My heart dropped instantly because a man that just drove pass, trying to get my attention was just now on foot! It was dark and I was scared af. I played it off and was like hey! Where’s your car I didn’t even think you would stop. As soon as he was walking up on me, my sister opened the door to out apartment building and I ran inside. Idk what his intent was but I know it wasn’t good. It was 3 am, late at night and I live in Chicago. No telling what he could’ve done to me.

I still don’t know what this guy’s intentions actually were, but one day when I was like 16 or 17 I was walking around my neighborhood and I noticed this guy walking while reading a book. At one point he ended up super close behind me, like just outside of my peripheral (I was walking alone the curb with him on the sidewalk because I didn’t want him directly behind me), and every time I glanced over he just had his nose in this book. I’m not sure if he was actually reading or was just trying to look distracted while getting close. Eventually I decided I didn’t want him so close, so I crossed the street, but then I noticed him crossing with me so I stopped in the middle of the street and ran back. At that point he either realized he was scaring me or just knew the jig the was up because he walked a different way and I went home immediately after that.

I was selling a double bed frame on fb marketplace to a lady and when she showed up she had her partner with her ( bed was heavy so expected her to bring someone) as soon as I opened the door I got a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach ,the lady was holding a plastic bag that clearly had stuff in it which I was immediately suspicious of cuz why would she bring it out of her car to collect the bed . As soon as they came in they started speaking in their own language which I couldn't understand , the guy kept looking round the room and went out of his way to look under the stairs , pretty sure he was looking for the dog as all its things were all sitting by the door he also asked what type of dog I said a rottweiler. ( it's not ) then she asked to go to the toilet as she needed to go badly , which is upstairs I made my excuses so she couldn't go , they spoke between themselves for a minute and then said they just had to go back to car to get the money , there's a little cafe beside my house and I rang and got the owner to come up and stand with me , the couple came back up got the bed and I locked the door behind them , they sat in their car for over an hour outside my house even reversed round the side so I couldn't see them for a while , I did say to the lady on her way out that there was a toilet in the cafe she could use but she said no it was ok. when I rang cops they said that the names they had given me where fake as well as the cars plates .

So I met this girl when I was hiking with my bsf and we spoke for like an hr and I invited her out to dinner at a burger joint closeby and told her we can go in my car. Somehow we ended up going in her car to a restaurant 30 minutes away. Anyways we had dinner and then I suggested we go walk around a lake nearby (it was already 11:30 pm and this lake was in my moms hometown so I used to go there a lot when I was a kid and its surrounded by restaurants that used to be filled with *families* so I thought it was safe. They agree and we go and there were a few families and some friend groups. We walk around until 1:00 am and by then somehow the restaurants had emptied out. Me and my bsf r idiots and didn't notice 4 guys following us around the entire time but thankfully the girl did but she didnt say anything. So we agree its time to go home and hop into her car, they hop into theirs, and the girl starts going into circles in the empty parking lot and they did the same and thats when me and my bsf realised. My bsf went into pure panic mode, my adrenaline started pumping and like and idiot I thought we should floor it and lose them but thankfully the girl was the only one with a brain in her head.
@serena5249

Part 2 i guess lol So the girl pretends that she's taking the exit and then swerves last minute and they couldn't do the same so they had to take the exit (which was a narrow road with only trees surrounding it) so they had to go further down the road so that they can turn around and come back. In the meantime the girl parks the car and we run towards a restaurant which was the last one open and had just one last group of friends there. So we go up to them and the girl tells them whatd going on and they tell us to come sit with them and we do and then the car that had the guys in came back and we told the friend group that consisted of 2 men and 3 women in their early 30s. So the 2 guys went up to the car and started distracting them and in the meantime we got into our car and floored it. While we were leaving we notice a car parking horizontally in between the trees with a group on guys in it with the lights off. My guess was they were planning to box us in and rob us or kidnap us (they cld have had worse motives but I'm guessing those since we don't particularly look arab and we're half american and were speaking in English) Lastly I had a huge with my parents that same day and they didn't know where I was so I didn't exactly want to call them. Oh and the girl become one of my bsf now

I don't have a TikTok so here's my story here: When I was about about 11 I was outside watching my two younger cousins play in the playground by grandma's apartment building. All of the sudden I get this really bad feeling like we're being watched. I look behind me and this old man is kind of hiding behind a tree and watching us. So I immediately just kind of guided my little cousins (at the time the boy was 7 and the girl was 4) safely and slowly out of the park without letting on that we were leaving because of him. My cousins and I talked and laughed the whole way back to the apartment acting like we didn't see him. When we got inside I explained to the oldest one (7) what just happened and he understood not to play outside for the rest of the weekend. Idk what that man would've done but I didn't wanna stick around to test it.

when i was around 17 (i'm 20 now) i was walking to the bus station to go to my (at that time) boyfriend's house the bus station was around 3 blocks down and 1 to the left from my house so i was like "it's ok i can walk that" (i've done it many times before and nothing had ever happened to me, until that day) i remember when i first asked my mom what bus could i take to go to my boyfriend's house she said "you could take this route (26) or walk all the way down and take that other one (32-B)" she first said to me to take both, first the 26 just the way down to the other bus stop so i could take the 32-B so i didn't have to walk alone 3 and a half blocks but then she said "but if you're gonna take the 26 bus take care cuz in that route tends to be robbers" and i was like "yeah, no thank you" so i said "i'll walk and take the 32-B don't worry" and i did and everything went well for a few days (ps: i was stubborn about taking the 32-B because that was a more secure bus route than the 26) SO, one day around 11 am i was walking down the blocks as usual and 1 block before the left turn that i had to walk before de bus station was this man walking towards me i see him and i first thought "ok, it's just another person walking" then he stops right before the blocks ends and stays in fornt of a house (that i assume was his) and he just waves at me like "hello!" i first pretended that it wasn't' for me but then he does it again and im like "fuck it is for me" i remember i saw behind me if someone was there and SURPRISE there was NO ONE so i'm like "fuck, he now knows i know he's talking to me" and i waved back he then just go "come here" with his hand and i inmediately said no with my head (idk why i was so scared to talk outloud but our whole "conversation" was trough signs) and then he goes "no? come" and i AGAIN said no with my head ok so, i was at the end of 1 block and he was right at the begginning of the other one and i HAD to pass through there to get my bus so i just stayed there, grabbing my backpack's strips ready to run the whole way up to my house if that man took another stept towards me but he didn't, when he saw i wasn't gonna move any further he just grabbed his house's keys and entered his house then i just thought "if i just walk normaly he could be waiting for me to grab me and drag me into his house" so i went down the side way and started RUNNING IN THE LITERAL STREET thankfully there wasn't that many cars so i ran and didn't stopped until i was at the bus station later that day i told my mom and we both just look at each other and said "you're (i'm) taking the 26" because, there was no point on taking a safest route if the trip there was not safe

Me and my friend were at a youth club and we decided we wanted to get stuff from the shop, so we walked to the shop in the pitch black, on our way to the shop we saw the same van go past us twice, we didnt think much of it, my friend saw something on the floor and started messing around with it, I saw the van go past again, and my instinct told me to move, so I told my friend that we should go to the shop quickly, so we did. When we came out, there was a van parked up, the front lights were turned off but the back lights were on, now we both knew something was up, we tried to ignore it but then I heard a clashing against the gate, I looked behind me to see a dark figure (they were wearing all black) walking towards us with some kind of metal bar in their hand. I quietly told my friend and said, ‘when I say this word.. we run, pretend like our house is close..’ we got a bit of distance away from the person and then I said the word, we ran, we didnt look back, I wanted to make sure this man knew ‘we lived close.’ So I shouted, ‘Race you to the house!’ We reached the youth club out of breath and practically shaken up. We were kids, we told the youth workers and because we really had nothing to go off of, we were told to stay with them the rest of the night until we got picked up. It was the scariest shit ever, even just thinking about it now gives me chills and makes my eyes tear a bit from just how scary that was.

There was this one time, I was about 18-19 and I was coming from my boyfriend’s house. I had just gotten off the train and was going to walk home, maybe like a 15 minute walk. I could have taken the bus, but it was around 10-11 and summertime, and this was a relatively busy street but it was kind of deserted at this time, So I start walking, there’s a little viaduct you have to pass under and I don’t know, I started feeling weird. I looked back and there’s a guy walking fast on the other side of the street. I mean, he’s walking FAST and he’s crossing the street to my side. I turned and did a 180 so fast, he stopped, I walked back to the bus stop and waited 15 minutes for the bus with other people around.

I will also be ever greatful to a snack bar worker for coming to my rescue when I was waiting for my friend in an empty Bart station and an old creepy guy started to get close to me. I honestly dont know what happened or if the creep said anything because I feel like as soon as he got close to me I froze and my mind went blank and now I cant really recall much. Though the guy from the snack bar came to my rescue and yelled at the old creep and made him go away. I hope I thanked him and he gave me a free snack. After that I got my drivers license soon after cuz I couldn't deal with public transportation anymore. Thankfully I had the means to do so and someone to teach me.

I had an incident 2 and a half years ago where I was walking down a street at 6ish in the morning while it was still dark, and a car started matching my speed and calling out to me, asking things like if I was single. I initially looked over in response to being called, but quickly realized what was going on and kept walking. The guy pulled a ways down the road, stopped his car, got out to pretend to use someone's garbage can, and waited for me to come down the sidewalk. I realized that this was happening, realized I was short enough to wear he couldn't see me behing the other cars parked along the road, and then I just dove behind someone's hedges and waited for them to leave. The road was a one way so I knew he wouldn't have been able to back up to see where I was, and eventually he just left. Once he did, I just sped walked all the way down the road until I got to the most lit up part of the area. Even though in that time I was in a very emotional state and had other things causing me to not think clearly, I was glad that I was able to put that aside for instinct to kick in to save my life.

I've Been watching these videos and I Also have a story to tell well it's not THAT bad but it could've ended badly. So I was in the 8th grade and me and my little sister who was in 1st grade were walking home as we got off the bus from school. It was monsoon time and the road we had to walk down was filled with puddles so I walked in the sidelines. I wasn't so far from home at this point And suddenly a man looking like 40-50 years old stopped his motorcycle right in front me and said "Sit on my motorcycle I'll drive you home I know your father" And I in return said "uncle Luckily I have a pair of legs so don't worry I can walk home you leave please" Thankfully he didn't do anything else and drove off. But it was really scary for me because the road was also empty and I couldn't see anybody I can scream to for help also I had my little sister with me I was more worried for her.

I was wearing a body con dress and heels walking down the street to meet some friends at around 9 pm and this guy was walking behind me I sensed his presence and had that bad feeling so I was keeping a peripheral eye on him. When he said she’s really pretty he was alone and it was creepy and a threat. I said yep she is and she has pepper spray in a very strong 💪 voice the coward crossed the street to get away from me. 99% of the time do not tell your attacker about your weapon but this time it worked.

OMG...I needed to see this. I like to get exercise in by walking when I can't exercise other ways (which is most of the time), and my friend has been warning me for a while now to stop going out when it's late unnecessarily, even when it's early but dark out or when I'm driving and it's late. I usually tell him he's being overly concerned but he's right - I need to stop walking and going in the dark when I can avoid it. It's just not worth it. Some years ago, I had the last-minute idea to go to this party alone because I really wanted to attend and no one was available to go with me that night. I had an amazing time, but looking back on it, I was young and naïve and could've gotten myself in trouble being there alone and drinking and smoking with strangers I just met. At one point when I was about ready to leave, I got into a conversation with a bouncer. Not suspecting anything, I told him what part of town I lived in and that I lived alone when he asked me. As I started exiting, he told me that his shift was over and that he would walk me to the subway station. I initially felt safe with him because he was there to secure the party, even though he wasn't law enforcement, we were no longer at the party, and he was not on the job anymore at that point. I remember he told me that he lived in an area that a different train went to, but he got on my train with me and that's when I started to know something was off. I asked him where he was going, and he said that he wanted to make sure I got home alright. I told him that he didn't need to do that, but he still got off the train with me. I pulled out my cellphone and pretended to speak to someone who was waiting for me, and when I saw some ppl in the distance approaching I told him that they were my friends and he didn't need to walk me any further. He then went back to the subway station. But that wasn't the scary part The next night, I was hanging out again and came home late on the subway again. Halfway through my walk home from the station, I could see someone in the shadows of an overhanging building structure and again, felt something was off. I started booking it, walking closer to the curb so that the passing cars could see me. As I passed the man, he said my name. As you probably already guessed, it was the bouncer walking out of the shadows like he was waiting there for me. What's even creepier is that although it's possible that I mentioned my plans for that day to him the previous night, he had no way of knowing when I'd get home and must've just been waiting there for me like a stalker. I know I looked as scared as I felt and said a quick "hi", then kept speed-walking like I didn't know him. This time, a man was walking in my direction, looking like he was minding his business, I think looking in his phone or something. When I turned around, the bouncer guy was gone and I never saw him again. I could tell that he had bad intentions, and I'm so glad that paid attention to my gut feeling and avoided him.

This is why I carry a lighter most of the time, & scissors at all times. I don’t care how young I am, I’m going to keep myself safe. Also, if a girl (or a guy) comes up to you and pretends they know you, PLAY. ALONG.

This wasn’t a quick thinking moment, but more of an accident that probably saved me. I was walking back from class one night, I think it was 9 or 10pm, and I’m in the parking lot of my college, it’s not well lit, and there aren’t too many people or cars around. I usually have a keen 6th sense to things around me, but I had no alarm bells going off at all, just had my eyes on my car and was power walking to my car. I had my keys in my hand and my purse tucked under my arm close to me and my keys in my right hand. Well I have a terrible habit of dropping things. I accidentally drop my keys and so I have to stop abruptly to pick them up - when I do that, I hear “oh!” And I get startled because I’m like, I thought I was alone, and I look and there was this girl who must have been right on my tail for who knows how long.. she doesn’t have any books or a purse or keys… just wearing workout clothes… and she doesn’t apologize. She just says “oh!” When she almost ran into me and starts walking diagonally away from me. It’s possible she was out for a run and wanted to be close to someone for her own safety.. but I have a feeling her intentions were probably a bit more ominous. But I think the part of it that scares me the most, is like I said I have a pretty keen 6th sense and I truly had no idea, no strange feeling, nothing alerting my spidey sense that someone was behind me, and that closely behind me. Gives me chills to this day.

Okay so my friend and I went to the mall to just hang out. And my parents were there too but they were in a different restaurant while we just walked around and talked. And while we r walking I noticed this guy wearing a red shirt like he was always there wherever we went and at one point he walked real close to us. We just laughed it off. But after a while I notice that guy right behind us AGAIN. My stomach dropped and I immediately knew we need to find my parents. And I didn’t know where that restaurant was, so I stopped and my friend stopped as well. I tried asking her where that restaurant is and I think my panic was showing cuz I was fumbling- and this genius friend of mine on the top of her voice is like “ YOU ARE ACTING AS IF WE R GETTING FOLLOWED” while that red shirt guy was like still close by and I start laughing (maybe it was the panic that made me start laughing) and I say “ that is cuz we are getting followed” and then we went to my parents. But my friend looked back at one pint and said she saw him laughing...so yeah

I'm writing this to remind women that you don't have to be polite to strangers and people just because they bought you a drink or that havent done anything yet but getting waaaaaaaaaay to close to you. Be honest and agressive if you must. I've had to do this in more than one ocasion. DO NOT feel captive by social politeness. It's better to be safe and being seen as crazy lady than ending up in a trunk of a car. Your instint doesn't lie to you. If you feel in danger, YOU ARE IN DANGER. BE AGRESSIVE.
